The weather for this excursion prevented us from going snorkeling, so they just let us cruise in the fast boats for 2 hours thru the marinas, bays, shorelines and mangroves of Cancun. So much fun. Alex our guide did a great job, even though one of our boats in the party suffered a propeller malfunction, they replaced the boat quickly and made up our downtime. Great time, and will do it again.

We spent the morning getting ready for our noon tour, then took the bus to the location. Through a bit of overzealousness on our part, we arrived 45 minutes early, only to find out the tour was cancelled to do...maybe the wind? The boats and snorkeling weren't possible to go out. A few of us cancelled, but some decided they wanted to still do the trip the following day (our last day), but we asked them to please notify us in case it was cancelled beforehand so they didn't have to take another bus ride for no reason. I emailed the morning of, because of the strong winds all throughout the night. I did receive an email back, saying they hadn't heard if the tour was going to take place but I'd be notified in case of something had changed. Welp, those that were going had no choice to leave and hop on the bus for their tour...only to find out, the snorkeling part was cancelled, but they could do the boat ride if they wanted. Since snorkeling was their main reason for going, they decided to cancel. It would have been great to know this before hand. The refunds were processed pretty promptly and we were grateful for that, but it's a shame there wasn't much communication that wasted time (and money) that could have used for something else both times.

We booked the Jungle tour thru our resort and declined the free transportation as we had our own…read more We accessed the marina (Chachi) thru Cancun Bay resort. There was free parking before arriving but the small fee at Cancun Bay resort was WELL worth the hassle of parking further and walking. Juanito met us out front and escorted us to the check in desk. We showed out prepaid receipt but still had to pay the $15 per person marina fee (which was advised prior to arrival). We all received a sealed snorkeling snorkel and Jose passed out the Mask to all that needed. Jose and Juanito were super! While on the Jungle Tour one of our boats lost power after we arrived at our diving spot. Jose called for a replacement boat and they switched boats before we had finished snorkeling. It was a bummer at first but Jose handled very quickly. I would recommend this tour for families and first time snorkelers. You get about 45 minutes of snorkeling and about 45 minutes of a great boat Tour. Back at the Marina all employees had on mask, social distanced, hand sanitizer and the bathrooms (banos) were clean and in great shape!!! There was a bar and restaurant but we didn't patronize. They also have locked lockers to rent for a very small fee and there is a free area storage on each boat that will hold a standard tote bag.

So we made the taxi driver turn around and go back to see if they had anything available. It's been a busy week here in Cancun for spring break and a lot of places are booked. This was the best decision we have made since being here. We had a Sea Ray yacht for the whole day. Our crew was excellent and went over and beyond accommodating our family. They provided us with refreshments and made us fresh fish ceviche. We spent the day cruising, and sightseeing then swimming in clear waters and snorkeling. It was an amazing time that we will never forget!

They were 15+ min late picking us up only to wait for 1+ hours at the dock for the catamaran. It was advertised as a catamaran, snorkel, island adventure, and then an exclusive beach club. Snorkeling was amazing but equipment was cheap and not enough time to do it. The "exclusive" beach club was not nice at all. Food was mediocre at best and felt like we were eating at a mess hall. Basically this was a booze cruise, which is great for some, but it was not sold to us as such and it was a totally disappointing experience. It felt like a floating frat party with cheap alcohol and workers pouring tequila down teenagers throats.

We were able to jet ski for an hour because our other excursions were canceled, but once it was time for our third excursion it started to rain really hard. Lines nearly non-existent (June 2026). Be prepared for quite a fair amount of walking (mostly ramps and not stairs...way easier). Zipline experience definitely has quite a bit of steep climbs, stairs and short ladders, so you want to be prepared for that. You will get wet on EVERYTHING, which we loved, so be prepared with water-shoes (flipflops and bare feet not allowed in most areas) and swimsuits...no dry spectator options here! We started with the cave swim, long route took about 20 minutes, and the swim thru the cave was amazing! Ends in a way cool waterfall "Cenote". The attractions were all included (except for pictures if you want a package). We really enjoyed our time at this park.

A colleague recommended we do an excursion to Xenses since we've done others by Xcaret in previous years. My favorite activities were the Pueblo and the Xensatorium. These activities really messed with our senses. The zip line and waterslide were also pretty fun and memorable. Park was not crowded and I remember it was like a half day excursion. Lunch is not included. Definitely worth doing.

Small park that lends itself to Xelfies…read more You could spend all day here, but you can get through all of it in a few hours. Your biggest snags will be the lines for the water slides, bird flight, and the Xensatorium. There is a fast pass for the bird flight experience. The kids and I really wanted to check this place out. It had been a long time since we had been here. Since it's a smaller park, it can be overlooked, but the park really tests the five senses. When you first get in you will have the ability to see the various optical illusions (via mirrors, special effects, or room layouts) and take selfies of those moments. The lobby imhas several selfie experiences, starting from the entrance to the locker rooms. Then there's the pueblo, where you will run into an upside down town. You think you are walking uphill but feel the opposite. There will be other opportunities to take selfies of you being in the ceiling, standing over a bottomless pit, or jumping towards the ground...it's all crazy in the Pueblo Abajo Town. The Xensatorium will have you enter a totally darkened tunnel where you will have to use the rest of your senses to feel, smell, and listen your way through the cave...cold, wet, warm, breezy, misty, ...finally ending in a cavern. The bird experience is extremely short, but it heads up the way to the heated float pools, and the muddy river, ...bucket showers will clean you off and you're onto the next one. I thought it was fun, and you can stay there as long as you like. The one thing I don't like about it is the Xnack bar isn't free, you have to pay for the food here...unlike the other parks. If you like selfies, you'll enjoy this park.

Our family had one of the most amazing days to kick off our summer vacation. This was our first time to the park and I must it is massive! So much to do so be sure to arrive early and plan your day tactfully to take advantage of all they have to see and offer. 2 days definitely recommended if you are wanting to experience everything and not have to be too crammed or rushed. The underground river circuit was amazing and so much to see along the float. My only "quejo" or "complaint" is that they should monitor how many people are in at a certain time as sometimes you can be jammed packed in narrow areas. The food at the Oaxaca restaurant was definitely on point with a wide variety of food choices from vegan to bbq to salad to dessert. They have everything you could ever want to try while in the Mayan Riviera. You gotta try the cochinita pilbil. The Mexico Extravaganza Show was hands down one of the best shows I have ever seen in my life and that says a lot because I have seen a lot of shows in my life so far. The culture and musical growth displayed from various regions of the country. I would recommend you arrive early to try and get a good seat in the theatre and be sure you know it is an open air theatre with a roof so it can get warm. Once seated you can then go to the bar or snack / concessions below. Definitely invest in the photo package as there are so many photo spots and it saves you from wondering if you got a great shot for your trip that day. Xcaret Plus is what we purchased which includes the all day pass to the park, one admission to the buffet or a restaurant on site (Cocktails / Alcoholic drinks not included). We drove ourselves to the park but they do offer hotel pick up and drop for your convenience. Getting and out is easy. They speak many different languages so rest easy knowing that you have help if needed or have questions. My favorite things here was looking at all the different birds, observing the wildlife, and sitting by the ocean. It was so beautiful everywhere you went! We also saw so many wild lemurs here throughout the park which was cool. However, since the park was so big, we ended up spending a lot of time walking to each experience. Overall, I would recommend this park since there are so many things to do!

Never seen so much colour under the sea before, felt so privileged especially when an inquisitive turtle swam up to have a nosy at us. On Isla Mujeres, instead of staying in the north of the island (where we docked), John was excited to rent a golf cart and so we toured the less touristic, south part the island. The north also had it's own charm, street vendors, Playa Norte (rated in the top 10 of the world's best beaches) plus it was also home to a phenomenal dulce de leche icecream, so much so I had 2 of them in about half hour

David was our tour guide, and on the ride to tulum gave us a lot of history about the mayas. At tulum, he took us around and told us about each site. The cenote was awesome. Our Butlers were Norma, Catherine & Enrique ( who we never met) Catherine visited us twice by the pool and Norma was the main texter sweet but none didn't do very much . Some of our favorite ppl was Efrain the bartender love his sense of humor, the Bell Boy Toribio I believe was his name was very helpful, other than that everyone else was nice but nothing really stood out. We stayed in the new building Marriott Diamond Club 4th floor ... gorgeous room but no body mirror, no iron or iron board, nothing to hang your towels on in the bathroom, the shower floor is VERY slippery it really needs a rail to hold on to. Room service took 1 hr the food was cold. Ate at the Joya 2 days and some of that food was cold too. There is an Asian restaurant in the new Diamond building that no one talks about that is delicious. There is also a bar and pool table in that building as well.

View is GORGEOUS!…read more Definitely a picture worthy spot in Cancun. I stayed here for 4 days and I loved it every single day. The staff are very attentive except when it gets super crowded. I was sitting out in the patio area when it was raining and even that view was gorgeous. You can order drinks, food and anything you want from any of the restaurants. They have a menu for the pool deck but you can basically ask them whatever you want and they will make it happen. The view from upstairs is beautiful too because you can see the layers of two infinity pools with palm trees in the back. I've seen this at Amankila in Bali but it's a different feel. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Cancun.
