Having been a part of this community for over 8 years-can't imagine returning to a public school setting. Strong academics, small class sizes, lots of AP options, strength in athletics, an amazing theater program...that's just the start of it! Safe, beautiful location. Staff so welcoming. Check them out-you won't regret it.

The fact that there are only 2-3 teachers still teaching from when I attended both junior high and high school is a telling sign to the ability of staff retention. For reference my old kindergarten, elementary, and middle school still have 75% of the teachers from when I attended. If maranatha knew what was best for them they'd do a little more to retain the talent they had in house instead of creating a revolving door of teachers. They hire for the short terms instead of the long term like they used to. Just feels like a bunch of bandaid remedies instead of meaningful change and improvement. They're too focused on being ranked as a top private school instead of actually being a top private school. After you graduate there's practically no reason to stay engaged with the school. The fact google reviews are turned off says a lot. Not a place I will send my own kids...

She loves her teachers and always shares positive stories about her day. When our 4-year-old mentioned a classmate was bothering her, the school handled it with the utmost care and concern. They resolved the issue swiftly while keeping both children supported--a true testament to their expertise in conflict resolution. My interactions at the school have always been positive. The school is very safe, well-maintained and efficiently run thanks to superb leadership and excellence in child development. Lifebridge is a gem in the community and a real blessing for any parent looking for peace of mind for their child's well-being away from home. Thank you!

I love how caring the Director Julie is - she knows every child by name, prays for them, and listens to the Holy Spirit. During covid I knew the school was being ran by someone who hears from the Holy Spirit - what more could you ask? I love that they do the pledge every week together, along with prayer, and they sing songs about Jesus in chapel. I have never had any safety concerns the entire time they've been there, I know they are in the best hands. One of my favorite things about Lifebridge is how they do fun spirit weeks and celebrations. My boys are always looking forward to exciting celebrations coming up, Lifebridge makes holidays memorable and add in a ton of flare in between holidays to make school more exciting! Summer school especially is also full of exciting themes - splash day with bounce houses, popsicles on the playground, etc. If they're ever having a hard time getting to school, I can usually remind them of something fun coming up they're looking forward to. We are not a big extracurricular sports family, but I LOVE that they get pulled out to attend Amazing Athletes every week. They get to experience each sport, as well as do fun games & exercises & they get stamps to show what they learned that day so I can ask them about it at home. They never want to miss it. Again, we are so grateful to God for the blessing Lifebridge has been to our family.

Now that we added our 2nd at the same age, price has double at $3,100 per month. But staff turnover, and poor morale has significantly decreased their care. Each year they'll increase the fees by 10% but staff do not see this reflected in their salaries. NOTE: the increase to fees started yearly prior to COVID, and benefits of a tuition free week was no longer available post COVID but prices continue to increase. Staff leaving after 5+ yrs of dedication due to a 50cent increase per hr was denied by management.

The facilities are always so tidy, there's always someone to greet you warmly at the door, and Tobi and Katie along with the teachers are so communicative about everything related to your child! My kids have always come home singing songs and learning so much - by the time my oldest started Kindergarten they were already reading, writing, and way ahead of their peers - and it's all thanks to KCC. Sad to leave as our youngest moves upward and onward, but truly a gem in local childcare. We'll miss you!

We still remember Mrs Caha with warmth and care. However, the second year was not that pleasant. When one of the students was throwing hunny poop (I know, it sounds funny but also really unhygienic) at my son, the school did nothing at all, despite my complaints. I mean is that a school or a prime ape cage at the zoo? Also, the new addition to the Turtleback elementary, and my son's 1st grade teacher, wasn't experienced, it was the teacher's second year of working in the industry and you could really tell. Absence of hands on experience and pedagogical knowledge led to a bunch of conflict situations between my son and herself. Note - he's never had issues with anyone before and neither he does now. She showed unprofessional behavior, with the principal siding up with her employee and not helping me to resolve the situation at all, I quote "I know your so is capable of making anyone totally neurotic". I mean great job on blaming the kid, right? Needless to say, I was happy to withdraw my kid from the infamous Poway unified and going with Solana Highlands elementary instead - a stellar school, with amazingly helpful stuff that care about students and capable of showing it.
