This is definitely one of the top spots to eat in Idaho Springs. Delicious food every time. Have…read morehad most things off the menu, but the burgers and onion rings always stand out for me. They have a great selection of craft beers, and also have homemade sodas that are can't-miss. Particularly known for their root beer. Great vibes, especially in the summer. Worth a stop if you're in the area!

We were sat without delay, the inside is cute and gives a mountainy cabin vibe. They are a brewery and also a distiller, I tried their Housemade vodka, seltzer, it was light and easy to drink. They had a multitude of flavors to choose from as well. I wasn't super hungry so I went with the tomato artichoke soup and an order of sweet potato fries. This was one of the best soups I've ever had, so creamy and cheesy with real artichoke pieces in each bite, seasoned so well and served with little pieces of naan bread The sweet potato fries were also incredible, just so fresh and cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside and just seasoned to perfection. The rest of the table tried the burgers and had great things to say about them. The server was also really nice and helpful, i can't remember her name but she made some great recommendations and was very attentive. Prices are reasonable and for bar food this was really a great experience. Definitely will be back!

Wapiti is a great spot in Estes for a hearty meal!…read more The bun on the ranchhand burger was a bit thick, but a really good burger - juicy and cooked really well! My husband loved and would recommend it. We both grabbed some Parmesan fries and DEVOURED them! Incredible, 10/10. I had the pulled pork and was admittedly a bit disappointed in it being somewhat dry. Though the coleslaw on top was nice, as was the overall flavor! I wouldn't rule it out, I just may not have gotten it on the best night. I should also note that some say it's downtown estes. And it is technically walkable, I THINK, because you can walk along the river, but it's a bit far from what I would personally call "downtown" if you were to walk. I'd recommend driving unless you want a longer walk. They have plenty of parking, though we are here in the off season. The staff was kind, but we had little interaction. Overall, I'd try it again.

It was prime rib night and i was excited to order. The prime rib was blah and unseasoned. The baked potato was good. My husband ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich and it was not good. Very thin and dry, no sauce on the bun, he had to ask for mayo. Maybe our orders were a one-off because i see other reviews raving about the food here. Drinks, on the other hand were fantastic.

What's a bit of a drive when you're driving to delicious shepherd's pie?…read more I thought you'd agree - totally worth it! Their scotch eggs are banging too. In fact, we didn't eat anything that wasn't well seasoned, cooked to order and authentically British. Not an easy find, if you ask me. We sat at their bar, chatted with the bartender - who was really friendly and checked on us often. The place was packed, but we got in quickly and you'd never know they were popping. Their cocktails were amazing and after some chit chat about what I liked and didn't, the suggestions were fabulous. Loved the British decor as well. Such a fun place. It was a lovely evening and we hated to leave, but we'll def be back!

The location is kind of in the middle of nowhere but that's not a bad thing. Lots of parking and outdoor space to wait for a table or pull up a chair. The service is a little stiff and slow but what can you expect from a pub style restaurant. It can get pretty busy inside especially around holidays so definitely make a reservation if you plan on having a big party or don't want to sit at the bar. As far as English/Irish food goes this the only serious contender in the area, i haven't found another UK restaurant that quite mimics the pub atmosphere as well as this one. Check it out for some stick to your ribs goodness!
