I called Westside to remove a wasp nest from the side of our house this past July. The service was top-notch; prompt, efficient, and both the office staff and Vlad, who did the actual removal, were warm, polite and considerate. They offered lots of warning before starting, explaining that the wasps could be aggressive for 2-3 days, and let my neighbours know as well. The wasps actually disappeared completely overnight, and both we and the neighbours' kids can eat in our back yards again. It was excellent value; I'll call again next year for sure if we need the service again. read more

Fabulous service. Very knowledgeable staff and would not hesitate to recommend this company for any pest related needs.

I'm a contractor and I often use pest control people on jobs. I use westside because they are very professional competitively priced but above all they treat my customers right. It's hard to find good honest hardworking people that know what they are doing. I found it at westside pest control. read more

You don't need to look any further for pest control. Mike sent Jeremy over just over an hour after I called him. I had a rat in my basement insulation. Jeremy promptly found it..cleaned up...and then went over the perimeter of my house and found a few areas where critter may have entered....and wired up the areas. Jeremy took the time to talk to me and explain things. Westside cares about their business. Extremely professional and reasonable. I will only deal with them if I have any further "pest" issues! read more

Mike at Westside Pest Control is one of the best. Friendly, personable, KNOWLEDGEABLE, and trustworty, Mike will get the job done and done well. He is a green company and (as far as I know) only uses green products. He will source the issue, fix it, stop it from happening again, and in no time at all make you pest free once again! Now, if only he could do something about telemarketers too!! read more

Excellent service! Finally a pest control company that actually PICKS UP THE PHONE!!! They provided great service and I was very satisfied.

Amazing service. Prompt courteous arrangements for a home visit/inspection. The agent/technician was on-time and focused. He offered many helpful suggestions. There was no pressure to upsell. He outlined the options and how to proceed. The mice are gone but if they dare to return, I know whom I shall call! read more

Larry and his son did a fantastic job. They were very responsive and professional. We moved into a new house that was infested with ants and mice. Larry was there the same day and took care of the issues. I trust Larry with my home and my belongings. read more

Would highly recommend Westside Pest Control. We had rats and after several months of trying to get rid of them ourselves, we decided to give them a call after reading their reviews on Yelp. Conrad was very professional and thorough. He checked the roof and crawl space for entry points, sealed these up, explained how they got in and set up several traps. They used snap traps and a catch trap which was very important to me (no poisons compared to other companies; rat will die in walls - yuck!). They set a schedule in advance for 3 visits and offer a one year guarantee. read more

We have used Westside a few times and they have always been great. Courteous, professional, and on time. We have used them again today and as always very happy! James was great! read more

Westside Pest Control is simply the best in every aspect. Courteous, knowledgable and efficient staff. I booked an appointment and they manage to fit me in on the same day. Thank you so much Jagger for your friendly and professional service. I would not have any hesitations in referring Westside Pest Control to family and friends. read more

We had a serious mouse problem in our apartment building in Marpole. We called Westside Pest Control and they responded promptly. Jeremy and Ryan were very professional and knowledgeable regarding where the mice were entering the building and how to get rid of them. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that has a pest problem. Thanks very much Jeremy and Ryan!!....The mice have left the building!!! read more

Great service, Scott solved our mouse issues very efficiently!

West side Pest Control came out to remove at wasps nest. At first the wasps seemed to be gone but after a few days they seemed to come back. I called WSPC and they came back very quickly to deal with the wasps again (at no charge). While the tech was here he also gave me some tips about how to remove a hornets nest also on our property. These guys are my go to pest control supplier. I definitely recommend them. read more

Westside Pest Control has a quick response & do the job right! We live in a very old house & thru our 20+ years, we've had them remove aggressive wasps 3 times and most recently rats (I thought they were mice with a pointed nose and smaller than a rat - boy was I wrong!). Those rats woke me up in the night with scratching on wood (my husband slept through it!) and fortunately were in the walls and not yet in our living space. Westside Pest Control was out the next morning and followed up 2 more times (no additional charge) to ensure they were gone for good. The courteous, efficient & patient workers won the battle! All pests are gone and we no longer have signs of them outside around the house too. ThAnK YoU Westside Pest Control! If you have a problem with pests, give them a call!!! read more

Efficient, flexible schedule. They did it while I was at work but called as they were headed to my house and emailed me after. Took care of everything and were super polite on the phone. Would highly recommend. read more

I don't hear any critters so I guess they did what they were supposed to do. The service people that you sent were good at their job and great to deal with. Thank you. Oh and btw they guarantee their work for a year so you only pay once for the the year. read more

I called a few pest control companies for our small ant (pavement ant) problem. The problem... I previously bought multiple ant traps, ant "raid" drops, etc. The ants seemed to eat the trap food for a week or so, and then nothing. They kept coming back...started in our driveway / garage area and has since moved into our home...many interior wall baseboards on the first floor. Again, traps didn't seem to do anything. After calling 4 companies, I gave Westside the first opportunity. Their prompt reply to my voice mail message, their as good as or better pricing, a 90 day warranty and a 1st approach that was environmentally friendly was great sounding to me. Ryan, a technician came out (during a snow storm), was friendly, polite, professional and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain why and what he was doing, what I could expect and to call if any further issues with ants come back. I'd say 80% of the ant problem was gone upon this first application. I called Mike after 1 week, said there is one area in particular that ants are still being seen. Within 3 days, Ryan was out again, repeating the environmentally friendly application and stepping up the treatment with a more potent application of some other spray. Again, professional, and taking the time to explain all that is needed. The original invoice was $15 lower than I expected, and delivered the same day by an electronic pdf. (Very handy). The second invoice (after the 2nd treatment) came also the same day and was for $0 dollars - free as per the 90 day warranty. I love it when you not only get what you expect to pay for, but more. Highly recommend these guys (Ryan and Mike) for any pest control problem. If they handle all else like they did with my ant problem...all is definately good! read more

Pigeons invaded my condo balcony while I was away on vacation. They left quite a mess! Westside Pest Control responded promptly to my inquiry. I emailed photos and they provided a quote. Their technician came today and cleaned and disinfected all surfaces, including carpeting. The service was prompt, efficient, and professional. I highly recommend Westside Pest Control. read more

Had a mouse running around the house on Thursday night. Called and left a voicemail with Westside Pest control thinking that they'd call back in the morning. Also, sent an request on their website. Friday, tried calling during their posted office hours and got voicemail. No return call on Friday or Saturday (open both days). Very unprofessional conduct. Finally, I had obtained prompt and professional service from Abell pest control. Highly recommend Abell. read more

We had a small bee nest inside the window frame on the 2nd story of our house. Mike from Westside Pest Control came the next day and was very thorough and professional. He climbed up to the outside of the house, drilled a few holes and sprayed in insecticide. A few days later, the bees came back, so Mike send another gentleman out where he fumigated the window frame from inside the house. He came literally the next day and this company charged me 1 fee ($150) for bee/wasp removal which is guaranteed for the whole season. Thus, they came back a second time free of charge (and I suspect they would continue coming back until I was satisfied) for the one fee which is guaranteed for the whole season. Our bee problem is now 100% resolved. I found Westside pest control came over very quickly (sometimes the next day), was very professional and very knowledgable) and got the job done right. Their prices are on par with other pest companies, but it is their no-hassle guarantee and great service and knowledge staff that makes this company worth it. I would call them again if I have another pest problem and I have already recommended them to some of my friends. read more

Called Westside Pest Control to take care of a huge wasp's nest behind my building. From the time I spoke to Mike (he sent Jeremy) to the time Jeremy finished probably took about a half hour. When I called Mike and explained what the problem was, he said that Jeremy could be at my place in 15 minutes. Jeremy was at my place in less that 15 and he took a look at the problem. He said that I could go back in (since I had my baby with me) and he would call me on my cell once he was done. Sure enough, about 10-15 minutes later he called to tell me that he was done. I went back outside to take care of payment and Jeremy explained that it was a hornet's nest (he also explained that they are more aggressive than wasps), and that he took the nest down and sprayed the area to prevent them from coming back. He also mentioned that there is a one year guarantee (not sure how you can guarantee it, but I'll take it). He was very knowledgeable and nice. Although I'm hoping that I never have to deal with pests again, but if I do, I'll be calling on these guys again for sure. Five stars all the way! read more

Westside Pest Control is the Delta Force of exterminators. They came, they saw, they conquered. I had a serious carpenter ant situation. I went online to find reputable exterminators, and Westside received very strong reviews. I can confirm that sentiment. In my case, the ants had spread across the front interior walls of my house. Jeremy and his Westside team came within about 24 hours of my initial phone call, and they were methodical in their approach. They drilled and sprayed throughout the building envelope, and also threw in a treatment of the back portion of the house for free. That would be fine on its own, but the carpenter ants weren't going to go without a fight. The ants were big, menacing, and had tenaciously dug themselves into various locations of rotting wood. It was possibly one of the more challenging insect battles on record. But on at least three separate occasions over a two-week period, Westside came back (let me repeat, they came back) and continued to spray and use other techniques until the ants were gone. All of these repeat visits were without charge, and on each occasion Westside came within 24 to 48 hours after I called. Frankly, it is rare to see such a high level of customer service in general, and certainly within Vancouver. You will find cheaper exterminators out there, I know from personal experience. But if you want results, quality workmanship, and fast response, Westside can't be beat. I am ant free thanks to them. It's a no brainer: if you have an insect issue, call Westside. read more

We thought we might have a wasp nest on our roof and so we called Westside to come out based on the Yelp reviews. All the great reviews are for good reason. Every person I dealt with from the office scheduling staff to the actual on site technicians we wonderful. They were all knowledgable and friendly and worked hard to get to our home right away. It turned out we didn't have a wasps nest and didn't require spraying. They could have sprayed anyway and made more money on the job. But they were concerned about not spraying unnecessary chemicals and not wanting to charge us for a service we didn't actually need. If we ever have a pest problem in the future I will absolutely call Westside. And I will refer them to anyone who ever needs pest control. I'm extremely happy with the level of service this company provides! read more

Never again!! We had used Westside pest for a few years in our commercial and residential properties, and been satisfied with the service. We have spent thousands of dollars and had just set up a monthly service, when I booked an appointment. There was a miscommunication regarding the time. (I booked between 1&4, they came 11:30) when I called them when I arrived at the property at 1 and they told me they came earlier. I was upset at the confusion but arguing wasn't going to solve the problem, so I asked to reschedule. They said fine, but they were charging me for a "missed call"!!! I told them that wasn't going to happen, they said they were doing it anyway....I told them we were done. But wait.....they charged my cc over $125!!! I asked them to show me where I ever agreed to be charged $125 for a "missed appt" Especially because I was there for the time I booked!!! They told me this was "standard" in the industry, but couldn't back it up....so they "only" charged me "$75" for a "late cancellation"!!!! I didn't cancel...I was there, and had set aside 3 hrs of my day for them!!! I sent an email asking why any business would throw away thousands of dollars...what happened to the "customer is always right"? They only responded with a receipt for the $75 I sent one last email telling them they would never have my business or recommendation ever again. Be very careful when dealing w them, and watch your credit card charges!! read more

I have dealt with this company several times over the years and I have to say how grateful I am for their great customer service, and how very competent and knowledgeable their staff have proven to be. Whether it's for a wasp nest, squirrels in the attic or rats in the garage, they tackle these problems with great precision and thoroughness. Their one-year guarantee inspires confidence, but the good news is that I have never had to call upon them to make good on it; they always get rid of the problem. I would give them more stars ... but 5 was the maximum! read more

Mike and his team at Westside Pest Control have provided us courteous and professional service over the past five years. We've had them come out to perform preventative maintenance (every six month they spray the perimeter of the house for spiders and other bugs) and to remove / relocate bird nests and add spike rail so they don't return and each time we've been impressed with the services provided. We don't hesitate to recommend Westside to our friends: they are eco-friendly; use organic based chemicals that don't hurt the environment and are always upfront with what they can do and how much it's going to cost. Excellent business professionals! read more

Inspite of the fact that initially the service delivered was not satisfactory, I am rating 5 stars for this business for best costumer and after sales service which is rare nowadays in a business world that is governed by policies that may not necessarily serve the consumer. I have called Pest Control to handle rats on my property- exterior, few months ago. I was not satisfied with the service as I started seeing rats again shortly after they removed the bait boxes. When the matter was brought to Mike ( owner) attention, he quickly contacted me and addressed the issue He took the time through emails to explain to me how exterior pests are handled as well as other details about their company, which I highly appreciated it. He further offered to come back, free of charge, to reinspect my property and try to find a solution to the rats issue. I would have happily taken him on that offer except for I have already contracted another pest control company to handle the job by then. Based on that Mike has refunded me all money I paid for the service which was over $400 and further extended a welcome note for me to contact Westside Pest Control anytime I have a pest issue in the future. I value any company that has business ethics and stands behind a service or product they delivered- this business is certainly one of them! Thanks Mike for turning this around & making a very unsatisfied costumer a happy one in so many different way! read more

I had seen a rat in my garden and go to and from a wood pile of my neighbour's as well as rat droppings on my porch. I didn't want to take any chances of rats possible finding a way into my home so I called Westside to check if there were possible entry points. Chris came by and checked the perimeter, roof line, and went into the attic. Chris sealed up any potential entry points and laid some traps outside. A few days had past and I heard some rustling in the ceiling when I was in the basement . Westside came by a day later and set some traps in the ceiling. The traps outside caught two rats but no sign inside. Westside was professional and even when there was a scheduling conflict, they did there best to move around their schedule to still come later that day. I also love that they give a one year warranty for rat control. read more
