He was about 5 feet from me and at an angle but he never looked my way not even to say the Wal-mart Hi to greet a customer. I waited curious about how he would be as the new Manager. Everything from gas, cigarettes, potato chips, to tasty cake donuts was anywhere from $1 - $4 cheaper than where we live. The meat sold at Harter House is awesome. The lunch meat in particular is awesome. The ham tasted like it just came out of the smoker and was sliced to order! We bought burgers and chicken as well, to make on the grill, and those tasted delicious too. The chicken breasts are huge by the way! They sell beer and liquor too, which isn't common in PA, so that was convenient! Where they are lacking is in the bakery department. A larger/fresh selection of baked goods would earn this place 5 stars. Lastly, the cashiers were such friendly and pleasant people. I'd definitely recommend this place if you are needing some groceries!

They seem to have improved this of late, customer service has improved, plus I can actually make oil change appointments on the Walmart app. Not sure if that's strictly for Walmart Plus enrollees or if it's available to anyone. I have Walmart plus, it's great, nice to compare their prices and fees to Amazon for a change. And the Walmart Plus membership includes Paramount Plus streaming on your devices. I believe I have the discount fee for Walmart Plus due to my government subsistence program membership.

On a recent trip with the kids we decided that we would eat at the cabin one night and grill some steaks, corn, and potatoes. What better way to celebrate being at a cabin, right? That is why we ended up at Hart's. This is like many small groceries stores you find in small towns throughout the country. It is what I remember groceries stores used to be like so that nostalgia always gets me. Does it have the best selection? No. Does it have everything you need? Probably not. But, is it still a great place to go? Absolutely. We were able ti find everything we needed for our meal and then some. We even picked up some firewood and smore's supplies. Heck yeah! I've bought boxed meat from the frozen section that was two years past the expiration date and then they won't give you your money back without a receipt. also have bought ground beef several times that was spoiled and had been sprayed with red dye to make it look fresh but was brown on the inside (gross)! The store is usually pretty clean. There's no competition up here so most stuff is over priced and probably attained cheap because it's close to expiration date.

He then (creepily) demanded to know if we were going to vaccinate our children. He continued on and on, and then proceeded to mock us for saying we probably would vaccinate them. It was very uncomfortable, creepy, and uncalled for. And that also means that he hadn't been vaccinated and doesn't wear a mask, but breathes on fresh vegetables all day at this store. Except for him, it is a good store with nice employees. It would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the one creepy worker.
