When I go to a Chevron I expect to have a slightly cleaner experience with less hiccups than the cheaper gas station down the way. You get what you pay for right? Well you're supposed to anyway. This particular Chevron is ridiculously outdated. The screens on the gas pumps are so old and damaged that it's nearly impossible to read what it says. I had to go wait in line inside to pay for my gas because I fought with payment at the pump for longer than I had patience for. The gas pumps themselves are an older style which you never see around anymore. You have to lift the lever that the nossle is held in to get the gas to start pumping, no buttons. The instructions aren't very clear either. The orientation of the station, and the locations of their driveways make for a very confusing user experience as well. They could benefit from having some signage specifying the pumps are only one way. I witnessed people coming in the other driveway trying to cut people off at the pump who have been waiting from the other end. Hopefully this location will consider a remodel in the near future. RV dumping / sewer station available. They allow you to dump here for free if you spend $8 or more on filling up gas. Ample space to pull your rig through as well. Fill up gas, go to the counter and get the key to the dumping station lock. Pull up your rig and dump. Very easy. read more

Might be the worst gas station I've ever been to. Broken pumps and still charging the same amount. It will take you 2 or 3x longer to pump here because they have really old pumps that are broken half the time. Terrible place to stop on a road trip. read more

I oftentimes stopped here to gas up for my road trips up to Napa. Always great coffee with lots of condiments to choose from. I loved their cold, icy drinks too at times. They had a good selection of snacks for the road also. Donuts, pizza, nachos, etc. Maybe not the healthiest of snack items but when you are tired and hungry it did not matter. This gas station is so ghetto. Last time I come here. Needed a car wash and gas. 3 of the card machines I tried didn't work and the one that wasn't broken had a broken yes key which you need to accept the prompts. The actually gas pump came out so slow. Took me 30 minutes just to fill us and get a carwash. This outdated car washes where you have to line up your tire are brutal and I normally avoid them at all costs because they totally damage your rims. Won't be back. I'll stick to the ease of Shell from now on even if that means driving out of my way. read more

ZERO stars. Make sure there is not a fool in front or behind of u. So I was in line for about 20-30 mins and my car gets stuck in the middle of the wash thing. The worker said it's usually the car in front that makes the problem or the car behind the person who got stuck. Okay so how are you gonna help me get my wash in a timely manner so I don't have to wait another 30 mins. They can't and they won't. So easy to back people up so u can be the next in line. Anyway, unless you got an hour to sit around doing nothing don't use this car wash. How everyone puts their tires on the track apparently affects the movement of the wash. I stop here several times a month and have never had an issue. The whole lot is well lit, there is plenty of parking, and I have never had any trouble getting to a pump. The restrooms are always clean and never more than 1-2 people waiting in line. It goes fast. Yes, it can be difficult to merge out of the lot here.... But you can make that observation before even pulling in... And if you're not that confident in your driving skills, you have every opportunity to just choose some place else... Don't really think it's fair to knock down a rating on this place just because some people can't drive.... It's a busy road, what do people expect? This is always my go to place if I need a pit stop and an easy off/ on location to get gas. read more

This Chevron has the cleanest gas station restrooms I have ever seen! Their gas prices are average for our area and the location is in a handy place. The pumps get busy on the weekend but I have never seen more than one pump out of service at any one time!! This is my station of preference!! read more

Located off the 101 S freeway super busy waited to get into restroom and also to pump so we left and decided to leave. I initially had planned to give them a 4 star due to its convience off the freeway. From waiting about 10 minutes and then getting my ATM denied 3 times when I know for a fact that I have money in there. We were going to stay but just to pay inside that was also a circus. Too long of a line and I hate waiting in them. It took forever trying to get out since people were just trying to park themselves in a hurry so they can try to cut in the line. Conveniently located & easy to get in to. If you're turning right (towards the automall) when leaving, it's not that hard to get out of. If you want to turn left (towards the highway) you're in for a rough time. Chevron isn't the cheapest for gas, though it is always less than the Shell down the street. The car wash is a convenient way to knock excessive dirt off your car, but the "new" blow dry system flat out sucks, so your car will emerge still dripping wet. read more

FRAUD!! Do not come here!! I was passing by Salinas and saw this Gas Station off the side of 101. I always go to bigger name brands because I was afraid of compromising my credit card at other places. I was wrong to trust Chevron! Got my gas, had my credit card the whole time, swiped to pay for my gas, and went on my way thinking all was fine. Next morning I get a call from my credit card company that my card was charged an additional $101 at the Chevron, and 4 subsequent fraudulent charges on the card. One over $1000! So now I have to deal with the fraud protection people at my credit card company, which is a hassle but I am pissed about the failure of security at this Chevron! Either someone's directly stealing our credit card information or the machines are being used by skimmers. Either way save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else! Gas is always pricey at Chevron, but I'm reviewing their Car Wash. It didn't do as good of a job as I was expecting it to. The spinning washer things didn't really get a good clean on the back of my car. And the drying system in this car wash is horrible. Left water marks everywhere. They either need to upgrade again to a better washing system of just take it out in general. read more

Station was pretty clean. They have the old style pumps that you have to pull down the lever before you can pump . You get a dollar discount on a car wash when you fill up, but you're better off saving your money because it's hard to hear the instructions and it barely even dried my car. read more

Avoid this place at all costs. It is nothing but a disappointment and time waste. Imagine getting off the freeway for gas only to find their pumps are not working, car wash is not working, and POS machines are having issues. Now imagine this happening 3 out of 3 times you tried this place. It is nothing but frustration to have to get back on the freeway after seeing this chevron sign. So starts my first negative review with this Terrible experience. Used safeway rewards, then pump stopped pumping after 2 gallons. Went in to have them reset it, but the staff was useless and basically said too bad it'll be full price now. Their bathroom arrangement was subpar, with a long line behind the single use rooms. After refusing to buy the other 13 gallons from them, i found a shell station just on the other side of laurel which was cheaper even with counting the safeway rewards at chevron.
