She recently had been struggling to manage the stairs. On November 12th she went upstairs and never came down again. She passed away on the 30th of November. The stairlift was used at the most 5 total times. We called the company immediately. We completely understood that they would not be able to give us 100% of our money back but we did think they would work with us. After relentlessly calling them, we finally spoke to the manager who said they could give us $500 for the stairlift. Mind you we had just paid over $4000.00 for it less than a month earlier? Talk about taking advantage. I'd give it away before giving it back to these people. I would not recommend anyone use people who take advantage of a situation like this.
