The kind people at the post shop here really helped me out, by suggesting an easier option of having it delivered to the post shop itself and I would collect it from there. The post shop not being far from my place, I was happy. The lady I talked too once I got there was so helpful, and found my parcels quick smart. She offered me a smile and a seasonal candy cane and I was on my way.

I have convinced my friends to switch banks purely because of the service and the simple handiness…read moreof having a post office at your bank. It's genius. In every one I have been to the staff are always so polite and nice and weirdly calm. Even during the chaotic christmas time when theres lines for miles. I am terrible at posting and postage and postal whatever. They always know what to do. And even more the other day I was so surprised when I went in to do a posting of something picked the packaging ripped it open put my stuff in it took it to the counter and then expected a simple transaction. And the lovely lady actually said to me oh no dear you can actually get a much cheaper option - and went on to show me how to work their products to the best of my value. Who does that! What company wants me to spend less on their products. It was so refreshing to get such lovely service. My local in Titirangi is especially awesome. A lovely older lady and a husband and wife team running it. It is the smallest little spot ever but still brilliant.

BNZ bankrupted me and actually had their agent fake the invoices they included as evidence to the…read moredisputes tribunal application they lodged against me. They also returned the cheques I sent them to pay off the credit card debt and refused to accept any payment arrangement. BNZ then sent a private investigator to my house and I had to defend myself in the high court. I was not allowed any lawyer and had to prepare all my own high court documents. The names to watch out for are Karen T-E. (BNZ). She is behind it. Carlile Dowling Solicitors (Carol H), Mark A of EC Credit Control (NZ) Ltd and Amy H, SB Law (Christchurch). I have made many requests to our NZ government to put a stop to banking and insolvency fraud in NZ, but they refuse to acknowledge the problems. I literally had to wait until after I was discharged from the bankruptcy to get my other creditors paid, because BNZ took away their rights as well. I make this review to appeal to banking customers in NZ, don't bank with BNZ, because by doing so you are allowing their illegal banking practises to continue.

I have been a loyal ASB customer all my life!…read more Their friendly service is great and I always feel like they are trying to help me rather than their bottom line. I find the ASB app incredibly helpful and convenient which is such a bonus I don't know any awful lot about the banking sector but their consultants are great. They also offer great advice! Well done ASB I will be a customer for life

Apart from earning it the distinction of being my first ever bank, it also means that it's quite an old building, built before the aesthetic for banking became all reflective glass and plastic. This is a bank that looks like a bank; I bet you could film an amazing heist here. I've always had pleasant experiences with the staff here, although to be fair I've never asked them to do anything difficult. But they're friendly, and helpful in that scripted way that bank staff are trained to be. Actually going back to the building - it's got really high ceilings for a building with such a small footprint. And that's really nice.

I had a wonderful experience visiting Westpac in Glenfield, situated in the Westfield Mall…read more The reason I was popping in to this branch concerned my little one and the fact that I wanted to start a bank account for him. Although he's not old enough to realise what money is yet, in the future he will thank me for giving him a head start in life. So my appointment to see a friendly staff member went very well, I was seated comfortably in the office, and filled out a few forms, provided some important documents, and everything was finalized within a few minutes. My little one, even received a free Westpac trust helicopter money bank. The professional help and manner at this branch is superb; and I was even helped with depositing my money straight away into my boys account via the machine, very innovative and time efficient! Thank you Westpac you remain the best bank in the world!
