This was a great stop on our travels over the summer. We tried almost all their beers and they had many tasty ones. The space is cool and has a nice vibe. There is outdoor and indoor seating. Inside can get a little toasty when it's warm outside, but it wasn't too uncomfortable. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. Great place to stop real quick and grab a drink! read more

This is a fairly new brewery in Tehachapi. I am not a beer drinker but I heard a lot of good things about this place. I have visited on a couple occasions so far and I think they have done a great job. It has about 6 picnic tables and a L shaped bar for dining. They also a room with a couch and chairs to lounge in, cozy area. They have around 12 beers on tap and I tried a red one. It was smooth but I think next time I will try a blonde. They have games to play like corn hole, foosball, indoor shuffleboard and a few more. They don't serve food themselves but they have food vendors come and set up outside. You can order your food then come in and get your beer and table. They have a board up with the upcoming food vendors. The board changes monthly so check their Instagram account for updates. So far we have had carnitas and brisket tacos with brisket fries, and the salsa was OMG good! All that was done by The Butcher shop. Then last night we had pizza that was done by Michelangelo. I had the bbq chicken pizza and my son had the cheese pizza. The crust was delicious, I look forward to having that again. This is a great new addition to our wonderful community. read more

I hate to even give 1 star. I would just like to say if you're going to set up for a busy night but can't handle a busy night, get out of the service industry. I was served a terrible drink and got attitude from the OWNER to remake it, and then later on got cursed out by the OWNER for having a towel on the ground where a drink had split (not my drink mind you) "am I suppose to clean up your f***ing mess" and worse he had said to me, I couldn't believe it so I kindly said I'm leaving. Is that not your job sir? We had cleaned up two different tables! thats not my job ‍ I've been in the service industry for 8 years, I've never let a bad day come out on a customer. Leave it at the door, bud. Your service is trash, and so is your attitude. If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen. Never going back to say the less. read more

Great place and good beer. I'm not to much of a beer drinker but I do enjoy the different brews they have. Owner is so sweet and really works hard for the product he puts out. Also, on Thursday they have local food vendors come out, so there is always something yummy and different to try out. read more

For a small town, getting a second micro-brewery is a huge deal, and as a huge beer fan I had to check it out. I am not disappointed! It is a small menu but excellent quality and they also have local and out of town food venues outside to help you satisfy your food cravings! I tried the red and the porter and both were satisfying! I will definitely be back. They also have excellent amounts of seating as well as games to play. read more

New Brewery here in Tehachapi, They have a few core beers they want to keep on tap year round and they rotate in some fantastic beers throughout the year They have a Blond, Red,IPA,and a stout for core beers and at the moment a Zinfin Pale,Double mountain IPA, Dark Horse Pale, and I just killed there Nitro tank for the Holiday Stout. They said they will have it back up soon. The beers have great clean flavor to them. I loved the dank hops of the double IPA and the malty sweetness of the Red is fantastic. Best brewery in Tehachapi ! Their reds and ambers are some of the best I've ever tried

They don't have much on tap. The two people working don't seem to know what they're selling. When we asked if their red was more hoppy or malty the response was "it's a traditional red" when we asked what kind of beer the Dark Horse was he said "it's a dark one". There were flies everywhere and they didn't seem to have anything in place to stop it. The two people working talked to themselves and counted their tips. I was never asked how it was or if I liked anything. We were there for maybe 30 minutes and realized this is not our kind of brewery. read more

This brewery is one of my favorites! We frequent breweries from San Diego, Ventura, Austin, and Albuquerque. Westlane has the best combination of beers, atmosphere, and staff, hands down! The Red is my favorite, but I've liked everything that I've tried. The owners and staff are always excited to share their beer knowledge, and are just plain pleasant to hang out with. We always have kids in tow, but Westlane is super kid friendly. There are plenty of games, foosball, and sidewalk chalk to keep them busy. Plus, when they're outside, they're right in front of the roll up doors so you can watch them play. The whole set up is perfect. I love that you can sit there enjoying beer, friends and family all while watching the trains roll by. read more

I had heard about Westlane from a family friend raving about it so we just had to go. It has a very welcoming environment that classic type of American brewery feels. They usually have outside vendors come in with excellent food but not as excellent as the beer they serve you can't go wrong with any of their selections. We still have dreams about their beer every night. It is a must try if live within 100 miles of them. I'm not kidding. It is a wonderful addition to this blossoming community read more
