He really got my son's attention. He took the in-car part of the class a week later. The instructor picked him up at school and spent two hours working on his driving and maneuverability skills each day for four days. We rented cones for a week ($10 for the week) to practice maneuverability in our car. It is much larger and harder to steer than the school's car and my son was getting discouraged because it was so much harder. I called Yazan, the owner of Faith Driving School, to ask if there was a different trick when using a larger car. He came to where we were practicing (a lot near the driving school) and worked with my son for 15-20 minutes until he was confident he could pass the test. Yazan did not charge us for this time, but really wanted to see my son succeed. In the end, we rented a car from the driving school. (The A/C went out in our car.). It only cost $50 and included another private lesson with Yazan just before the driving test. My son passed with flying colors and Yazan was even gracious enough to accept my excited hug before he left the DMV. I highly recommend Faith Driving School.

My 2nd instructor was Melanie, she was very nice and we connected really well. She reminded me of my aunt! She did yell at me at all, even when I made a major mistake. Lastly is Rachel. Rachel is kindest soul ever and I was glad to have her for my last in-car. She really helped me with maneuverability and we connected really well! You are lucky to have any of these people, but if you have Rachel you are especially lucky!

They make it sound so convenient I watched them fail several kids in a row for something that seemed very minor. All what I heard while waiting for my kid to take their test. "Didn't look over their shoulder when changing lanes failed." "Didn't stop fast enough when the green arrow was changing to yellow. "They came to a slow stop so not as fast of a stop as I would like." Failed. "She brushed the curb turning out which we know is a tight turn and I do it myself all the time here automatic failure." Failed. "Well, I normally don't take them through the school zone, but I did today and even if the light isn't flashing it's a zone." Failed. It's like they look for the maximum infraction to fail your child, so they have to come back and pay again. They almost set them up for failure. My kid was at the end of the test and was told to go through a construction area and turn right as she instructed when green but there were metal plates all over the road, a road crew in the middle of the road so he slowed to a stop and didn't turn to use caution and she failed him he didn't stop fast enough at a stop. I have had 5 children before this one pass all driving tests taken at the true BMV location I'm so mad at myself I trusted Schwartz to take his test I felt pressured to do so because he took his in cars there. HUGE MISTAKE save your money and go there. I regret taking them to test here. I swear they are looking for the failures to collect that 60 again. They are also extremely rude and act like you are bothering them when you are there. They would rather talk on the phone and vape in front of the business on their breaks that interact with customers. And from other reviews it sounds like they lie. My kid said there is no way I didn't pass. from the other reviews my assumptions seem correct. Having to take your kids out of school and test and comeback after two days so make sure that it doesn't happen to you!

Appreciate the upfront explanation and thoroughly communicated process of the waitlist. Now, on to the actual in car training. The instructor told him multiple time the DMV is able to access what they need to see online. When we arrived for his test, we were told he could not take it because he didn't have the physical paper showing he completed his in-cars. Now we have to wait another month before he can take his test. First Drive needs to make this right for me. This is what they do for a living....how can they not know what is needed for these students?
