Review for the playground only!…read more Set in the middle of the NA school campus, this is a huge playground, really two huge ones. Loads of different things to do, for all ages. Parking is a bit far away, but there are two big shelters in the middle for parents, with big fans in the ceiling- very cool on a hot day. No shade on the playgrounds themselves, and the shelters are a bit far from the playgrounds, but still handy. Baby K had a blast. Lots of new equipment, many things to spark the imagination.

My suggestion would be to certainly give this place a try. Schedule a tour with your child and see how they like it there. My daughter fell in love the first time we were there and now is so happy to be going to school. She would love going every day, but maybe next year.

Ms. Sam and Ms. Shelly are very warm and inviting to our children and open with he parents about what is going on in the school. Our children especially love the summer program put on by the entire staff which is in a word 'Epic'. The school it's self is decorated in a way that our children are constantly finding something new on the wall paintings. Our children are sure challenged and the use of the Tadpoles system keeps up in constant contact with the teachers at the school and our children's progress. This is definitely a "school" as opposed to a daycare, when we moved our children here we saw and almost immediate difference in their vocabulary and skills. The parents are also very involved at the school which is a huge plus for us as it show a more community effect for which we are thankful for. If you so choose to enroll your children at the Worthington Goddard I believe that you will be happy that you did. The cost is only slightly more than we paid before but is well worth the value that you get when it comes to your child's education. At Worthington Goddard our children are definitely getting off on the right foot.

They have taught me so much about how to deal positively with conflict, emotional and behavior issues in my own kids. The kids get lots of outside time, do field trips, and have classrooms where they are encouraged to develop lots of different skills in an age-appropriate way. Parents are encouraged to be involved in one of many events throughout the year including a carnival, halloween party, and things co-sponsored with the church in which the center is housed. We even attended a parenting skills class taught by some of the senior instructors at the center and learned a lot. Kids can sign up for optional activities like yoga, music or dance classes. They also offer week-long summer camps. Unfortunately Clintonville has far too few childcare facilities, so there is a waitlist for the full-time program. Sign up before you need it, or enroll in the part-time program while you wait. Openings in the summer and after school programs go first to current students/siblings/former students, so going there for preschool is a good way to get your foot in the door if you are looking for options once they are in elementary school.

There is a sign that says the playground is open during daylight. Park at the northeast corner of the school and walk around back. A big playset with tunnels, slides, games, etc. Another playset focused on climbing. Three little "clubhouses" for kids to sit in. Teeter totters (very low to the ground,) climbing ropes, basketball courts nearby, a few benches, a shaded dining area, and more. And, another school next door with another cool-looking playground. Baby K loved it. We will be back.
