Everything looked fresh, new, and so clean. Friendly teacher and helpers led the children all week teaching them Spanish but making it fun to learn with crafts and snacks. I hear there's going to be a new playground soon. So great to know that another generation of students are getting the same great quality of Christian education that I did.

They seek to love, learn and live Christ. The new building is a huge blessing and the parents contribute to one another. The school is small(about 175 students) but the impact is great. My child completed their preschool experience with strong pre-academic and spiritual foundations. The administrative staff, preschool teachers, specials teachers (e.g., Spanish, P.E. instructors), and aftercare teachers are top notch. My child attended full day preschool as a 3-year-old and again as a 4-year-old. We were so impressed that we had no qualms about continuing enrollment in kindergarten at Central College Christion School. The preschool team is kind, courteous, and conscientious. The director and program coordinator have an open-door policy and welcome parent collaboration. There are many parent volunteer activities, as well as school-sponsored events during evening and weekend hours to give working parents an opportunity to be a part of the preschool community. At Central College Preschool, diversity is celebrated, and it was reassuring to see students and staff from diverse backgrounds represented. Central College Preschool (and the elementary school) is a gem! It is so much more than a school; it's a family.

Although I have a personal background serving Special Ed. High School students for a number of…read moreyears, I must admit that the staff I met from the principal to the 3rd grade teachers exemplified what we want to see shaping our youth. By their positive and supportive actions with their students, teachers demonstrated a loving, caring, and nurturing model for individual and groups of students. As an educator, I witnessed teachers who gave of themselves to help build the character and moral fiber of their students. Students responded to the model set for them in that they we're recognized and awarded for "Good Citizenship" (how supportive kind, and encouraging they were to each other on a day-to-day basis). Parental involvement in children's education is encouraged by reading with their child at least 20 mins. a night and providing opportunities for children to continue reading on their own. A child's education in school is stressed as very important to success. Therefore, even if a child only attends school half a day because of a doctor's appointment Etc., it is important that they be in school the other half of that day. I was impressed by the rich learning environment and the positive responsiveness of the children I observed. In keeping with the importance of reading, I was encouraged that they were having a Book Fair while we were there which then carried over into the next day. Needless to say, I added to the support of the school and the children in our home by participating greatly in the Book Fair. I was told that they will provide another Book Fair next February. The school is in need of people who would be willing to volunteer their time and services to help in the Book Fair or just to assist teachers in the classroom.

She didn't want to call the other school for further information in which I took it upon myself to make the phone call and my child was standing right next to me and not only did she not acknowledge that he was standing there but didn't hesitate to show me her nasty attitude as if she didn't even want to be bothered. To me I was blown off and felt this location presented a vibe of racial discrimination almost as if the lady couldn't stand the sight of us being there. I also called to make a complaint to the director bc this type of treatment made me not even want to talk to anyone else there. The other secretary overheard this and also did not try to intervene. If they treated me poorly and unprofessional I had to think about how they would treat my child. I was very disappointed and hoped for better.

Then one with multiple playsets and equipment, some old, some new, beside the main school. Tree for shade. A couple of low benches for tired parents. Swings, slides, climbing stuff. Baby K loved it.
