Run far away. Mario with sales was amazing. He still checks in but not much he can do for warranty. For our initial walk I spent two hours taping the home and showing them where the concrete work was so crappy there were cracks everywhere. The slab for ac is not completely poured with concrete and has major gaps. Layne Millsaps the warranty guy promised everything would be taken care of. They bank on you needing to close and he literally did not fix anything. When I came to rewalk they had pulled off all the tape and not fixed anything drywall issues or anything else. I was annoyed because I had to waste work time to come do this yet nothing was actually corrected. He assured me when I came again to walk he would fix it all. There were literally unpainted parts in the home. Upon returning I showed him again about at this point we are in a tough situation because we need to move out of current home and move and Westin wants to close before the month end. Layne assured me he would fix everything just sign his paperwork. I took his word which was my biggest mistake. When we move in the home wasn't even cleaned. Paint stains and dirt all over the home. Shower rods not installed, plumbing and electrical issues. AC upstairs wouldn't work at all. They had checked nothing. After numerous requests to Layne and warranty through the portal I tried escalating to his supervisor. Jonny Cedro his supervisor should not be in customer service because when he came into my home he was super rude and starts holding up the walkthrough paper work I signed. I tried explaining to him that Layne had assured me that things would get fixed but he wasn't receptive at all. I was clearly frustrated at this point and he does nothing customer service wise. I showed him all around the home and most of those items are still not addressed because they are "non warrantable". I bought the home last year and have over 8 different places leak in the house. The first time there were 3 major leaks in the house and after a little rain this month there are 5 more leaks. First time they sent roofers to come look and fixed some issues. Now I have submitted another request but this is very concerning especially when we are paying 750k for this home. There are 3 others on my street with Westin homes that I spoke to with similar experiences. The HVAC company has been out 3 times and I still have major issues with some rooms being like a sauna and other rooms being cold. Westin tells you to contact them directly and you are on your own. The electrical has been the same and Westin also does not get involved. The electrical issues were resolved so far by electrical company but you cannot request any of those under warranty and have to go directly to them. The grading of the landscaping is so bad most of the grass on the sides are gone. Save your money and invest in a Perry home or another builder. If you are going with Westin document everything and take pictures because they will remove your blue tape and say it's all fixed. I am pretty lost at what to do but thought others should know our experience.

Buyers beware!!! I bought a home in Jordan ranch from Westin Homes around a month ago and it was easy to close on my home with Holly from Westin, but when the new home had issues, which are under warranty, project manager Chris from Westin Homes (281) 409-9479, makes excuses or tells me that I showed have checked before closing. Easy to buy the home, it is super difficult to get things fixed or corrected by Westin Homes for warranty.

Title: Disappointed with Westin Homes - Poor Brick Quality and Unresponsive Customer Service I recently purchased a home from Westin Homes, and I regret to say that my experience has been far from satisfactory. Six months post-closing, I'm facing a significant issue with the brickwork, which has severely impacted my satisfaction and trust in this builder. Issue with Brick Color: The main concern is the brick color of my house. I chose the Alpine Fog brick for its unique grayish hue, but within just half a year, the color has faded dramatically, turning an unattractive shade of red. This is not what I expected from a reputed builder like Westin Homes, and it certainly doesn't align with the quality standards they advertise. Lack of Support and Responsiveness: My frustration was compounded by the lack of support from their customer service team. I opened a warranty ticket to address this issue, only to have it closed with a curt response stating it was "not warrantable." Seeking further assistance, I inquired about any necessary care or maintenance to protect the brick color, but my queries were met with silence. Despite multiple follow-ups, I have yet to receive any guidance or acknowledgment from their team. This experience has been disheartening. As a homeowner, I expected a certain level of quality and customer service from Westin Homes, but they have failed to meet these basic expectations. The poor quality of materials and the unresponsiveness of their customer service team are major red flags for any potential homebuyers considering Westin Homes. Attached the images of my home brick, what was showed in design center, and a screenshot of my emails to Westin homes warranty department. If you compare what showed in design center vs how our home brick is you will notice a drastic difference in color. I have worked with Stefan, and he is a great sales man, nothing wrong with him he was so patient and answered all my questions. He is also new to Westin homes.

Don't even bother to buy houses from this WESTIN HOMES, they don't honor the warranty for the items they have listed in the paper. Bad quality mortar work, poor construction material, inexperience engineer assigned for your house. Now for warranty they don't even care, they just close my request without doing anything. When asked, we are done with the work and rest are not warrantable even though when you have proof. Attaching images of work they do during your warranty request and leave it over 1. Landscaping in the backyard, water keeps getting clogged. We had this requested to be fixed from the day we moved to the house and Joe and Westin warranty team kept pushing it because of the next door sprinkler or we have been sprinkling lots of water. When we showed proof, they just installed a drain just for few feet and didn't install where the problem exist. Now the problem is still open, they claim that we have installed sprinkler and the warranty voids. Well, WESTIN, how about me complaning the issue from the day one, i didnt the sprinkler installed? Why did you even install the drain in first place when warranty was voided? Now when you cant get the problem sorted out, you playing the game 2. 2nd floor bedroom window started to rust. The funny response from the warranty team "Its due to rain and its has salt". Bravo! Well, i ask, why not rest of the other window? And why not other houses have same issue? So should i put an umbrella to my window? The same window had issues and it was replaced by WESTIN now saying its not warrantable. How funny?

Do not use this builder. Yes the grand entry way is nice to look at, but all of the semi-custom additions to this home are only in place to detract from the low quality build of the home itself. After you sign the contract they will refuse to provide you a home you are satisfied with and you will be left with sub par construction. Your choices are to either forfeit your money or accept the low quality construction. It took us 4 walk throughs and attempted fixes on our home before we finally decided to move on to another builder. Pictures here do not completely show the disappointing workmanship offered.
