I was in search of a dentist for my husband and I that was close by (we live in Bartlett) and with a good reputation. After doing some research, reading reviews, and talking with some folks I decided to give Westgate a call. They were able to get my husband and I in for an appointment the next week, on the same day! This is a newer practice, but Dr. Ghandi has years of experience before starting his own practice. At your first appointment, the office staff give you a tour and explain everything they're able to do "in-house". I'm indifferent on the tour, but thought it was informative. I've now had two cleanings at Westgate and feel very confident in their services. I am not from Bartlett, and so far my experiences in this small town have been pleasant but not as modern, clean, and professional as what I was accustomed to in the city. Westgate smiles was such a pleasant surprise! It seems to be fairly new so there are no reviews, but the staff here was so warm and welcoming. They literally could not have made me feel more welcome. I highly recommend going to this office. The office is large, clean and everything looks brand new! They really took the time to listen to what I needed and did not try to sell me on a million different things. They are very genuine and professional. My cleaning isn't going to cost me anything because of my insurance but I asked how much a cleaning would be for my brother who does not have insurance and I was told that it would be $99, which I thought was a great deal. I love that they do crowns in a day and they have the most up to date technology! I could go on and on, but I won't. I'll be doing the whitening and Invisalign. I had done a couple of procedures at Dr Gandhi's office, my first appointment everything was good and great the receptionist helped him during the procedure, he was kind and attentive, his office was neat, fancy and clean, so I decided to schedule another appointment for a cleaning and whitening, I thought I would have a great experience since he was 5 stars with the lasted technology, that's one of the reasons I chose him, I thought I'd be on good hands!!!! I never thought that I would be the one who would give him one star, I wish I could give him cero stars, since he was so unprofessional, when I was getting the cleaning he had a different helper that time, I believe this guy was a student. Well, suddenly Dr. Gandhi asked him if he could go to the other room to get something and while this guy was gone, (he sent him out of the room so he couldn't see what he would do to me)!!!. Dr Gandhi damaged my crown by filing it and he was trying to pull it down with a tool like trying to take it off, (I will never forget his face expression), he only knows what he did, (he is the "professional") I was very confused with what he was doing I tried to asked him why he was doing that but he didn't allow me to talk as he had his hands working on my mouth wide open. Well, I thought that it would not affect me, when he finished I was told that my crown has a hole and that needed to be replaced and that I had three cavities, it didn't pass that long when I started to have a lot of discomfort on my tooth with the crown while I was eating, he damaged my crown just to get more business, a crown that I never had problems for years until I visited Dr Gandhi. I paid him over-priced services with my hard working earned money thinking that I was on good hands of a professional, I would never recommend him to anyone but if you go there make sure you have a really good dental insurance since he over-priced the services and he would do anything to sell you procedures that you might not need, Recently I had my cleaning in a trusted location and they didn't find any cavities as he said, he is so unprofessional and he forgot about his ethics just to get more business. I'm just going to update my review, a few days later that I wrote my review on his website I received a call from Dr. Gandhi, and obviously he knew it was me otherwise he wouldn't called me, he offered me to refund me the $300.00 I paid to him for the teeth whitening in return I'd have to delete my review. And clearly I paid more than that as I had a cleaning and whitening, but REALLY!?!? $300.00 when he even made an estimate of the value of the damage he caused me of $1,250.00 (I will upload a picture to prove it and to prove that I was his patient) and that included a discount, How awesome is that. I obviously responded to him that, that it wouldn't be enough to fix the crown that he damaged and he kindly offered himself to fix my crown at no charge very tentative right, that obviously it would had save me $1,300.00 but who in the world can trust him again after what he have done to me, I trusted him, I chose him for his good ratings, he gets five stars like crazy after my review and that makes me think if those reviews are real, or did he only chose to be a jerk and an unprofessional with me!?! he said that he doesn't practice that way, that those reviews were not paid or fake and that everyone deserves a second chance. Yes, he might be right but when is about my health there are not second chances. And I just don't feel bad for myself, I also feel bad for his helper that day, he was such a nice, kind guy and he was just as innocent like I was, I don't even know why I am here writing a long review when I should be seating at in attorney's office because this is medical malpractice, and I'll make sure to spread the word! Note: I'm not complaining about anything else but his unprofessionalism and I'm not telling: don't go there, I just don't want him to do this to somebody else. And if you're going to attack me on your review I don't care what profession you have I have to same right to share my experience just as you do, I paid for his unprofessional over-priced services with MY HARD WORKING EARNED MONEY, if your experience has been good until the day of today I'm glad for you, unfortunately mine was not and I was his patient only for two appointments and I will never come back that's for sure. read more

I had a terrible experience with my childhood dentist who clearly did not care if I was comfortable or in pain. Because of this I avoided the dentist like a plague growing up. Until the day I could avoid it no more. I got a painful infection in my molar and needed a dentist immediately. I started calling around to see who could get me in right away. It was a Saturday morning and everywhere I called said they couldn't get me in for at least a week even after explaining to them that it was an emergency. I even called 1-800-dentist and explained my situation, but they could not find anyone for me anywhere in the area. I then found Westgate Smiles and am sooo glad I did! I called them up and spoke directly to Dr. Gandhi and explained the pain I was in. He got me in immediately!! He genuinely cared about ME and my discomfort. He quickly diagnosed my problem and took care of me right away. His staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. And you can tell Dr. Gandhi is compassionate about what he does and helping people. He will make sure you are as comfortable and pain free as you can be. If you feel a thing he will not continue until he knows you do not. I went to Westgate Smiles for the first time at the beginning of 2018. I had been going to the same dentist for 20 years, but he was not in my dental plan. Due to lack of time, money, and dental anxiety I kept putting off going to the dentist and getting needed work done. I did not even realize 5 years had passed without a visit to the dentist, I am embarrassed to admit. I decided to try Dr, Gandhi because he was in my dental plan, close to home, and had some Saturday hours. I found out I do need extensive dental work done. I have had some of the work done already and have a ways to go before it will be complete. Dr. Gandhi and his staff have been very helpful and patient with me related to my dental anxiety issues. He asks me if I am ok, offers to stop and take breaks, asks if I need to get up and walk around for a break and if he can see I am struggling he will try a different way to proceed with the work so that I am more comfortable. I have had a few emergency appointments. Dr, Gandhi has made sure to see me before and after regular office hours since I was in pain, charging nothing extra for after hour or weekend visits. It is my own fault that I am in this situation with my teeth, but he never points that out. He just tells me, we will get through it together. One tooth and issue at a time. The receptionist is very good about communicating with me about the appointments. They call and text so that I always know what is going on. I was in dire need of a root canal and I had been in pain for a week now, on antibiotics and pain medication. According to my dentist I needed a specialist after endless waiting list. I called Westgate Smiles. Google showed that the office was closed and I prayed that they had an answering service. There was no answering service but I did get a returned call moments after I hung up. AMAZING! I let Dr. Gandhi know my situation and I asked when was the next available appt was. He said he could see me the next day. Right off the bat I was ecstatic. Usually I have to wait a few days before getting in and especially on a procedure. I let him know I have a great fear of needles and he and his staff were very understanding and made sure my procedure was most comfortable. I was blown away with all the technology he had in his office it was amazing. I've never had a root canal done not did I want to know what it entailed.
