I…read moreget the staff turnover is a concern and the school also has a zero tolerance policy against bullying or misconduct. One of my kiddos had a bookfair book stolen during lunch, the school addressed this issue and replaced the book. Coincidentally, the thief was a child that was "not coming back." for the next quarter (what a surprise). The school requires a lot of parent involvement and a lot of science fair and learning/ presentation projects. In addition, there are weekly homework packets that parents have to sign (mostly) when completed. Why? because it encourages parents to be part of the child's learning. First we complain that schools are just "day care" centers for kids and then we complain that the homework is too much and that kids are being held accountable. I am glad both of my kiddos go here and I am even more happy that they are challenged academically... with math and science-- its in the name, people.

My daughter has graduated from middle school, and my son is currently in 6th grade. I also love how they keep parents engaged and involved in the school's activities. I appreciate the school and its atmosphere.
