Over time, competition from places like The Summit, the rise of online shopping, store closures (Sears, Rich's, Macy's and Belk Home and Kids), then the shootings in 2018 and 2020 led to a huge decline.For a while, it felt like the Galleria would not be able to recover. Well, now it's 2026, and the popularity of the Galleria is rising again. The mall feels brighter, cleaner and safer, due to improved management and security. It's a great spot to spend time indoors during AL's extreme heat, cold or rain (it offers covered parking too). Best of all, the iconic features remain, like the large American flag and classic carousel in the central atrium, and (best of all) Santa's workshop during the holiday season, and make it a fun alternative for young families and grandparents. So if you haven't been to the Galleria in a while, give it a try. It is worth a visit again.

When bridal dress shopping for my stepdaughter, we enjoyed a fun wine and cheese restaurant that has since closed. The Summit has always had a "big city," upscale vibe! Even though the Summit is much larger than Huntsville's Bridge Street Town Centre, I was excited when 10 years later, Bridge Street opened in Huntsville!! Summit and Bridge Street share a lot of retail places in common: Altar'd State, Anthropologie, Apple, Barnes & Noble, Bath & Body Works, Belk, Buckle, Chico's, White House/Black Market, Lululemon, Loft, Soma, and more. Huntsville also has many of the same restaurants as Summit. As far as outdoor shopping centers go, I think the Summit is nice and people rave about the views, which I never noticed, honestly. There also is a shortage of public restrooms and then there's traffic on 280....ugh!

There are all sorts of thing to do here, such as: ~ Restaurants (Mexican, Greek, Burgers, Sandwiches, Thai, etc) ~ Movie Theater ~ Pet Store ~ Grocery (2 different ones) ~ Tanning ~ Discount shopping ~ Coffee ~ and much, much more Area is well maintained and there are some nice outdoor spaces for eating (between Panera and Taco Mama and Zoe's Kitchen). Parking isn't too bad, there is standard parking lot spaces all over the place, but if they are crowded there is a parking deck with tons of extra parking available. If you're in the area, you can knock out quite a few different things all at once. Really a good location overall and I'd recommend it highly.

Just some gold coins hidden around the store that you could find and turn in for a $10 credit. You could only do this once per person by the way and they barely have anything in there that's $10 or less so you still have to pay. The 2 Stars are only there because they have very nice smelling soaps that are made in Alabama. And yes, I triple-checked the flyer with the wrong address. It does say March 17, 2017.

Great area that is still growing and developing. Good selection of restaurants that has something for everyone (Cajun, Steakhouse, Burger place, Chicken Place, Grilled Cheese Place) and much, much more. They continue to expand, there is an Aldi as well as a few other places to shop. New construction is currently going on. Fast food options as well. From what I understand an Amphitheater is coming to this area as well (signs are actually currently in place indicating that it's coming soon). Really great expansion in the Hoover area. Looking forward to seeing what else they add in the coming months.

You have to drive down a cobblestone street and pay for parking. So to drive all the way there and find them closed when it said they'd be open was frustrating. I understand being a new business owner is hard, but you have to be consistent. You cannot expect people to monitor your social media. That's what posted hours are for. Going to be difficult to sell anything if you're rarely open or not open when you're supposed to be.

I went in for the first time about 2 months ago. Very cute store, but low stock of boy's 12-16…read moresizes. However, I did buy the few shirts that I saw in those sizes. I, along with several of my friends had inquired about the consignment process, and had heard that this business allows you to bring in your clothing, and they keep what they want and donate the rest without asking you if you want it back or not (as in returning your items is not an option). Once you take your clothing to them, you receive NOTHING back. If I want to donate the clothing, then I will take it to the place of my choosing and get the tax deduction for myself. That being said, that's their choice to make, and I respect their decision. However, when my friend group and I called up to the Clotheshorse to inquire if this was their policy, the owner answered the phone. I cannot tell you how rude and condescending this man was. I was simply asking if this was the store policy and he informed me that "Yes, and if you want your stuff back, you can take it somewhere else and when they return it, you can take it home and keep it FOREVER." I told him that all of the clothing that I would bring to consign was expensive and name brand boy's clothing like Vinyard Vines, Polo, Burlebo, etc. He literally laughed and said "Yeah, we don't really even really take Vineyard Vine anymore...so....." You would have thought I was scum on his shoes from the way that he spoke to me. It absolutely infuriated me, and I can't imagine treating my customers in this manner, ESPECIALLY as the owner. The girls that work at the store are very friendly and the manager- Amber is truly wonderful. The male owner needs to refrain from answering the phone or speaking with customers. He is definitely a repellant. Hands down the worst customer service from an owner that I have ever experienced.
