They greet you and direct you and go on to tending to the lavish supply of many outdoor and indoor plants. My friends helped me pick this out. I forgot the name but she is doing well and requires minimal attention just water once a week and a sunny place in my house. Prices are a bit more here but quality and longevity of plants last. I'll be back soon to get some more. Store itself is just heavenly and tranquil. I wish I had more of green thon to do some outdoor stuff. But indoor plants really zen out a home if you get the right ones.

That proved immensely helpful because I was overwhelmed the second my feet hit the dirt! A lovely lady, Rebecca, approached and asked how she could help. She was very happy that I brought the pot sizes as well as where I intended to place them (sun/shade). In no time at all I had a wagon full and with what my friends and I purchased, my trunk space was full. Pricing is a bit on the high side but honestly, the stock is beautiful, healthy and the variety is abundant. Add in the personal attention I received and it was money well spent because a multitude of choices were offered for the specific types of plants I needed. If I wasn't really liking something she suggested, we moved on. She was so helpful! On my next visit I will take some time to browse inside the store, they had some lovely gift ideas but time wasn't on my side at that point. Such a fun outing! (As for getting there, I-65 South was fine on the way there even though a significant stretch is under construction. The return was jammed so we came back on Hwy 31. While it took longer, there were no traffic delays.)

I had a problem with the firepit a few months after and Gardner fixed it with a week. When I bought the house the backyard was filled with weeds and vines. Now it's looking like a lovely space that is filled with birds. People familiar with what it looked liked when I bought the house are amazed by the change. The lady that helped me this week was very helpful and knowledgeable about the plant-world. I was in a hurry when I bought two flats of Mixed Heatwave Vinca; so, I didn't make it to all the other sections of the nursery and that's my loss. There's a tree section; a shrubbery section; an indoor greenhouse and on and on. This place is big! In addition to the annuals, I should've also bought a hanging basket for my Mom for Mother's Day, because there were some beautiful arrangements. Oh and the prices seemed to be less than other places that have hanging baskets and flats of flowers right now. I can't wait to go back to Hazelwood's just as soon as I can.

The people that work there are super nice and helpful. Also, it is fun to ride the golf cart and find what we want in their vast collection of plants.
