Art galleries can be hit or miss but I really like the curation here. There were so many pieces that were evocative, beautiful, unpretentious. Some that were quirky and playful, some that were more challenging. The theme of the American west is vast enough to include so many things worth enjoying.
The space is small and modern with a wide downstairs space with comfortable decor that includes cowhide and retro furniture and even a small tree. There's also an inset room with shelves for more sculptural pieces. And then a long upstairs area that runs the length of the space with more wall space and an open railing.
It can be a bit hard to find the right building but just look for the Vaughn Gallery sign all the way down the first row of buildings on the right side. I hope to visit again when I have more time, myself. I'm curious to see prices on some of my favorite items because they only have QR codes next to each piece and no WiFi, but I'll figure that out. And I'm sure there will be many new things on display next time too. read more
