He has gone above and beyond in getting my orders placed and making sure everything was just right for the custom orders. He has made multiple trips out to my home on very short notice (like next or same day) to double check measuring in order to get proper quotes. It was priced competitively, the work was completed as-promised and even ahead of schedule, and they left my house and yard clean every night before they left. I got multiple bids to have my roof replaced and Bruno at Wind Proof Roofing was the one who followed up the most, which I appreciated. He was slightly less expensive than some others but just as responsive if not more. The one small difference is that he didn't have a flashy report outlining his bid - unlike the one another, larger roofing company provided. Instead, Bruno talked through my needs and summarized them on a single document with the pricing broken out. He also took a video of the roof and sent it to me, which was very informative and something the bigger company did not do. The other thing that really impressed me is that WP was the only company who wanted to check out my attic to ensure that there were no underlying issues before the work started. I really liked this approach since I don't like surprises when doing house work and demonstrated how thorough they are in approaching roofing projects. Bruno's team arrived on time and finished the house ahead of his promised time. I've never had a contractor finish ahead of schedule, so Bruno gets additional points on this one. From the moment you walk into Sound Cedar, the smell alone of the fresh cedar is incredible. I checked everywhere and we used them for a lot of decking fasteners and naughty pine tongue and groove. We also got Cedar tongue and groove from them. Prices were excellent but again the customer service was fantastic. It is the most organized facility I've ever seen. In fact, picking up the materials with their forklift crew loading it onto the ladder rack of my pick up truck was so impressive. I took photos. Nathan had recommended an excellent installer for our deck and I cannot tell you how wonderful Felipe and. And Fernando were with the install. Once again, I checked many different places to buy the material. Sound Cedar was the best and exceptional quality but once again it's the best customer service I've ever experienced and I was the general contractor on this build of a home and a detached garage. Oh, they all carried it, but they would call the supplier and then tell us it was not available, and would not be in stock again for months. At one store, a large chain flooring business, we even paid for the tile only to be told two days later it was not available. We tried all five different colors of the same pattern, nope, not available. Due to Covid delaying manufacturing and delivery, and more people suddenly improving their homes, all building supplies were affected and delayed. We just happened to be driving in another city 40 miles away and saw a small flooring supply store tucked back in a mini mall. It was the Flooring Outlet in Mt. Vernon, Wa. We thought we would check it out since we were there anyway. As we were looking through the myriad of flooring samples I spotted the design and color we had originally picked but was not available. We spoke to the owner, Rick Fazekas, and asked if he could get this tile, 24x24 matte for the floor, 12x24 smooth for the shower walls.. He made a phone call and assured us he could get it to us the following week, but the shower tile was only available in 24x24. Although it would be more work and risk to cut them we decided to go ahead and order. After all, everyone else told us they couldn't get it at all. We made a payment and waited a week. The tile came as scheduled and with a surprise. Rick was able to get us the 12x24" smooth wall tile after all. Yay! So we have the tile we loved, in the sizes we needed, and the most amazing part...it was way cheaper than the large chain store. Bonus, bonus, bonus. Rick was so helpful through the process and when we needed to order additional tiles. It looks so beautiful and I wish I could post a picture of the finished bathroom, but we are waiting still for the countertop, cabinets, and shower doors to be delivered.
