From the moment you walk into Sound Cedar, the smell alone of the fresh cedar is incredible. I checked everywhere and we used them for a lot of decking fasteners and naughty pine tongue and groove. We also got Cedar tongue and groove from them. Prices were excellent but again the customer service was fantastic. It is the most organized facility I've ever seen. In fact, picking up the materials with their forklift crew loading it onto the ladder rack of my pick up truck was so impressive. I took photos. Nathan had recommended an excellent installer for our deck and I cannot tell you how wonderful Felipe and. And Fernando were with the install. Once again, I checked many different places to buy the material. Sound Cedar was the best and exceptional quality but once again it's the best customer service I've ever experienced and I was the general contractor on this build of a home and a detached garage. I should've left a review a long time ago. I just noticed somebody had given one star reviews and there's no way in the world. They deserve that this place is exceptional. You've gotta go there. We bought a really nice Japanese trellis made out of cedar from them and they've got a really good selection. Line of barbecues to include the green egg we're thinking about. The custom Cedar furniture they have there is awesome as well and built for big guys like me!

I bought a different brand "Instinct"hoping it would not upset my dog stomach. It did. We happened to be stopped at the light by NAS Whidbey and I chanced to look over and said "Hey, Furniture World!" We had recently visited the Furniture World in Bremerton but weren't able to find any living room set that slammed our doors, so I was reluctant to go in when my husband suggested it. Now, I'm SO glad we did. We met Shawn, who was super helpful and gave us the layout of the store and then let us look around. When he came to check on us, I shared with him the debacle we had with Ashley and he asked which set we had been looking at. Fortunately I had taken a picture of it at the time and was able to give him the name... ..and as it turned out, he had the set RIGHT THERE in the showroom. Virtually brand-spanking new! He didn't have the chair or the ottoman there, but was able to find out that there were chairs in the distribution center that could be delivered to the Bremerton store (closer to us) by December 5th, and the ottoman would likely be available sometime around Jan 6-11. And the sofa and loveseat...he offered to let us buy the set right there off the floor! His team meticulously plastic wrapped the furniture and had it ready for us when we came through the next day on our way home. We were able to get one piece in our SUV and the "boys" (his helpers) were able to help my husband load the other piece on the roof! Shawn clearly understands customer service, so much that we would likely consider driving to Oak Harbor again (quite a bit out of our way and a ferry ride to boot) if we are in search of furniture. I have to write this review now, even though we haven't received the chair or ottoman yet. I just KNOW that, if there any delays, Shawn will get in touch with us right away and help make good on our order!
