    When they ask for your credit card and tell you that it's only for the $105 diagnostic, do not…read morebelieve them. I got charged an extra $100 for labor that I never authorized. I was told I would get a call once the diagnostic was done and I would be given a choice on how to proceed. I got a call after the job was done and told it's an extra $100 for labor to remove food from the dishwasher hose. I would have never agreed to the $100 charge because I can do that myself. It's an easy job. When I asked why they didn't call me first, the repairman said he wasn't sure that was the problem. He only figured out that it was the problem after he fixed it. Doesn't that sound like a diagnostic? When I complained about the $100 extra labor charge because he didn't call me to authorize it, I was told that I should feel lucky that he was able to "save the dishwasher hose". If he didn't save it, it would be another $375 to $400 for a new dishwasher hose because the part is expensive and it's a very labor intensive job. Well, I installed the last dishwasher hose myself 4 years ago for $25 for the part and 1 hour of my time. It was a made up story in an attempt to make me feel better for the extra $100 labor charge, which I did not authorize. I emailed twice and called on February 12, 2026 and asked for a $50 refund. I got a call back on February 25, 2026 from an administrator letting me know that they are reviewing my request. I was promised that I would get a call back. Well, it's been 7 weeks since that promise on February 25, 2026 and no call back. Based on everything that has happened over the past 9 weeks, it's obvious to me that this business is not operating in good faith. Another issue unrelated to the billing, is that I wrapped duct tape over the dishwasher hose in a 3 inch area because the hose rubs against wood, which will break it after a couple of years. Well, the repair person removed the duct tape without asking me or even telling me he did it. The repair person arrogantly insisted that the hose will not break because he removed the duct tape. I have owned the house for 19 years. The dishwasher hose rubs and will break after a couple years. To suggest that it won't break is reckless advice. It will take 2 years to happen, so not his problem at that point. Never use Quick Appliance. Too many honest companies out there to choose from.

Then they told me it couldn't even be fixed because the washer was completely broken. They promised me a refund since they couldn't do the job. I paid about $500. It is now March, and I have been fighting for my refund since January. The lack of professionalism and accountability is ridiculous. This whole experience has been beyond frustrating. They absolutely suck.

However there was a lack of communication on when the part would come in & when it did come it was about a week after they told us it would be in. Then that didn't fix the issue & we were basically informed at this point we needed an entire new washer & they would refund us the almost $500 for repair costs. It has been over a month now with struggling to get in touch with the owner, getting excuse after excuse as to why they haven't sent the refund out, and now they're offering to Venmo it. Extremely unprofessional. Zero communication unless you literally bug them constantly. And we still haven't received our refund. We are over $1,000 down because of this mess. We are a lower income family of 5 & this has just been a nightmare dealing with this company.

    I have to give this store one star based on very poor customer service today. We bought our Riccar…read morevacuum at this store because we want to support locally owned businesses, which makes our experience today even more disappointing. In the13 months we've had this vacuum, we've had to take it into the store three times for broken belts. Given that we've probably used the vacuum less than 10 times since we bought it, that seems excessive. We have wall-to-wall carpeting so there are no throw rugs for the vacuum to get caught up in. There's nothing we can see that the vacuum could suck up, thereby causing a belt to break. Today was our third visit for a problem with the vacuum. The woman who spoke to us provided the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I'm not a confrontational person, but when I described how the vacuum began smoking after cleaning just one room, she immediately became defensive, crossing her arms and telling me the only way it could break is if it sucked something up like the corner of a carpet. Since I was using it on wall-to-wall carpet in an empty room, there were no carpet corners, throw rugs, or matts for it to suck up. Rather than offering to just put another belt in, she continued to insist that I had run it over something that got sucked in and caused the belt to break. She kept stating that there was no other way the belt could have broken, that I must have done something to cause it. If I had indeed sucked something up, I'd be the first to admit it. But it just didn't happen. After going back and forth a few times, she said she wouldn't put a new belt in, wouldn't sell us any, and didn't want to do business with us. So, we left. Going back a few months, the second time we brought the vacuum in for the same problem, the man who helped us asked me if anyone had tried to fix it. Neither my husband nor I had opened it up or tried to fix it in any way. He said it looked like someone had tried to fix it and put the roller in backwards. Weird. Again, it felt like he was trying to blame us when we had done nothing to cause the problem. I took his word for what the problem was, didn't take his accusation personally, and left. As a result of these two bad experiences, I cannot recommend this store, especially if your purchase has a problem more than once. This vacuum appears to be very temperamental. I wouldn't recommend this brand of vacuum and I certainly wouldn't recommend this particular store. It took us just a few minutes to find a different local vacuum dealer that is friendly and helpful.
