*all comic books are in Korean. If you are not able to read Korean, unfortunately you won't be able to enjoy* Why is there no reviews in this lovely store? I visit this place almost every time i visit LA. It's nice place to kill time while waiting for your friend or reservation. Never had issue with parking, even though it's not valet. But maybe that's because i visit here not during the meal time. The couch is comfortable, you can try any books. no one bothers you even if it takes forever to choose a book to read or stack bunch of books by side. Just be respectful to others. It's located on the second floor, and it has quiet but bright atmosphere. The person who works in front is very kind and welcoming. There are so many selections. There are the ones that brings my old memories, and also new ones that i recently enjoyed. So if you think this store is outdated, you are wrong! I also never had any issue with the condition of the books. You just need to pay $7 per hour or $15 for all day. There are little snacks you can buy too. Highly recommended! I only take one picture of the store, but the store is much larger than what's shown in pic.

Korean books only. No English books. I didn't take a picture, but that's the hand written sign on the door.

The staff is beyond friendly and, even though this location is small, it has a fantastic array of comics and other collectables. Even with my pull list at their other location, I always find something I have to pick up on my quick visit. They also have fantastic signings here throughout the year so there's a good chance that you can meet either one of your favorite writers or be introduced to your next obsession. My only complaint isn't even their fault & it's the parking. Like most of this area of NoHo, it's all limited street parking with meters or you're going to have to cross your fingers that you can find something in the residential streets in the area. But honestly, it's worth it. If you live in the area and are looking for your new favorite neighborhood shop, this is it.

The stock is about what you would find in any other comic shop, with the added benefit of being more expensive. I came in today, a Monday, to shop back issues, but the back issue bins were blocked, and covered in the new comics due out on Wednsday, with big signs thwt say "do not touch". I would guess this is why every other comic book shop on the planet has limited or no hours on TUESDAY to prepare Wednesday books. Either way, 25% of the store, you know the stuff collectors want, is unavailable to even shop. There are better and more hospitable shops in Burbank.

Superman. Marvel. Bruce Lee. Figurines, bobbleheads, comics, and my favorite, the owner's artwork, signed, starting at only 15 bucks. I spoke to the owner about art, artists, vintage comics and starting his shop during the pandemic. Super nice, friendly, talented, it's exciting to find a new place like this, filled with great deals, icons and heroes. I walked out with a prize picture for my wall, and a skip in my step. It's nice to see artists thriving on the west side of Los Angeles in times like these! You know you need a giant superhero for your desktop. An original Bruce Lee on your wall. An old comic in mint condition to complete your collection. And to applaud small businesses like this one. This place has it all. Many thanks for my amazing picture!! You are so cool and talented. My experience, arriving at the last bookstore in DTLA was one of the best experience of my solo…read moretrip in LA. Before you walk in, you are to check your bag with Lee. There's a sign that says it when you walk in and the person checking your bags will let you in and give you a numbered as binder clip. There is so many photo apps in this bookstore. It almost feels like you have to be there half a day and just sit down and enjoy everything they have to offer to read. I went to the poetry section right away, and I thought ' aw man there isn't much,' but I still got to find a book to purchase. I then had to use the bathroom, which didn't have any toilet paper in any stalls. But managed to use the seater paper. Hey whatever works. I was surprised to see that they have merchandise for sale of all kinds of T-shirts and blouses and sweaters. The value for these books are not too expensive, but there is so much to see and if you find the right thing, that's what paying for them buy it. I was also very happy to listen to music of my favorite artist being played. They had several music from Natalia Laforga to Chicano Batman many Spanish songs playing.. The universe truly brought me to this place because I've been wanting a T-shirt for a very long time, and I stumbled upon it without even looking for it.

Five-star bookstore that I like so much I'll spare its Spring Arts Tower Takeover the two-star…read morereview and lend it one from the bookstore. There was a comically circuitous line around half the ground floor to get in. Line moved reasonably quickly though, much faster than the elevators. The Event itself is 12-floors of vendors, crafts, and food which sounds great, but... each floor has around 20-25 offices. On average, about 2-3 offices per floor were open and sparsely filled by vendors. When I say sparsely, I mean that with the exception of some jewelry installments, most of the vendors were setup in rooms that made it seem as though the space had been rented out to five different vendors who each got 1/5th of the room to setup their station. Problem was, floor after floor after floor, the other four didn't show up. Overall, it felt completely empty, random and disorganized. Nice building, but definitely not meant for that many people. It'd be a perfectly lackluster way to waste an hour or so if there wasn't a fee for admission. But, since there is, regardless of how cheap, they're still charging people for something that could not have been more overwhelmingly underwhelming. Check out the great bookstore, but if you've ever been to some low-rent flea market in some second-rate city, you've already experienced their Tower Takeover.
