The technician got there and said my duct was stopped up and voided the warranty. It absolutely was not stopped up! I had 2 people check it and there was nothing in there. In my opinion they do not honor their warranty and then will charge a service fee. Ordered the part online and my son fixed it but still lost money on having to pay the service fee. I will not be doing business with them again!

I bought a refrigerator off them for $3000 over the phone because I live in Atlanta and it's about a 3 Hour drive. but I have a friend over there who lives about 10 minutes from them. so I asked the salesman over the phone if the refrigerator was in perfect I was told yes and I purchased it and I sent my friend over to pick it up. They told me they were gonna wrap it and put a box over it since they did not have the original packaging and they loaded it up and strapped it down for him. fast-forward about a month and a half the refrigerator is in a container still in the packaging they had put on. I unwrapped it and once I started looking at it, I could was severely scratched all over and the trim pieces were also pretty beat up then I called Southern appliances today and I was told that it's not their fault like always and said that they had their best guys to load the refrigerator and strap it down and then proceeded to blame my friend and his " beat up horse trailer" those are not my words. That is the managers words horrible business horrible service do not purchase anything from them.

This place doesn't even deserve receiving one star. Went to look at stove, wanted to test stove to…read moremake sure controls responded. Technician installed a cord, plugged in stove and all I did was confirm that controls responded correctly. Only turned on burners one by one, on low, then high and back off. Tested only for short time since would be loading it up. Everything worked, oven was a little smoky and just thought residual cleaner. Loaded stove and took it home. Once arriving home wanted to clean it up a little better. There was some grease and food caked there under the lip of the top. I know appliances and you can remove screws at front of stove and tilt top up and clean it. When I did lift top, I found that store replaced a burner. There was a wire left above the burner next to burner that was replaced, and wire was pinched between top of burner and the underside of glass top. The heat from the burner burned the insulation on the wire and that wire had burned against the underside of the top of glass top leaving it marked. I had not installed the stove in my home and notified the store they sold me a stove that could've started a fire. The store would not refund money on stove and accused me of moving wire to burn it. I drove one and a half hours to the store to buy this model stove. I had no reason to move this wire, I had not installed it in my home and never plugged stove in at my home. I requested that I return stove and wanted a refund of $300 of the $355 I paid and would take my business elsewhere. The store could repair and resell the stove and I was the one losing money. The store owner refused my offer and again said that I caused the damage to the stove. By the store owner's logic, I should have taken a dirty stove in my home, plug it in, stove short out/catch fire and then call store with problem. This place is dishonest, and their customer service is disgusting. The owner accuses customers of causing damage that their technicians did or didn't catch when they themselves inspected the stove. They offered to exchange the stove for another of same model, which I was willing to do, but I had to wait till the weekend to so as to not take time off work. I called on a Friday to insure they would expect me to come there and only got a busy signal on phone. I then contacted the parent store to this location. I was told Tift County Appliance was closed, I asked closed on Friday and was told store was permanently closed. No one ever contacted me, so I could have driven to a closed store to swap and stove and not anyone would have been there. I call the store Saturday, and someone answered phone like they are open. This place is very dishonest, and the BBB has them graded as a "Grade F", it's not hard to see why. Other reviews indicate the BBB is correct and even was told the business license office of Tift County gets complaints from this business also. Unless they change, the way they do business I would urge caution to any consumer going there. When someone is looking at appliances, they do not say anything about no refunds, or all sales are final. It would've saved my time, money and trouble had I known this ahead of time. This business has two Facebook Profile Pages, Tift County Appliance/Tifton Appliance, that should raise red flags as well. The store removed my comments/reviews/photos from both of their Facebook Profile Pages. It makes me wonder if they have taken advantage of other customers as well.

I always give places a chance to correct an issue before doing this but sadly there has been no attempt to resolve anything. My daughter bought a used washer and dryer with a 90 day warranty. She's had it almost a month and still hasn't been able to use it. Was sold as refurbished but apparently had never been checked or tested. Washer won't drain, dryer won't dry. Phone calls are ignored or sent straight to voicemail. Messages not returned. Call from another number and miraculously phone is answered on the first ring. Repairmen never show up even when scheduled to arrive "between 12 and 6". Won't allow a return or refund so stuck using laundromat until someone decides to repair. Could it be they are waiting for the 90 day "warranty" to run out? Please don't waste your hard earned money on the business.

Good place for an insult. A washer or decent customer service, not so much…read more We found the washer we wanted--repaired, of course--from Febles' Tallahassee location, near our house. We were uncertain given the reviews, but went for it because they offered a 120-day repair warranty. 94 days after they installed it, I smelled smoke during a load. Ran to the washer, stopped the spin cycle, and opened it to find smoke billowing out and burn marks all over the crumbled rubber of the gasket. It was clearly spinning off-center. I tried calling and texting the shop repeatedly, to no avail. In desperation, with a few days left on the warranty, I called this Georgia location to see if they were affiliated and could tell me what was happening. They told me the Tallahassee location was closed. (Maybe put that on the website and phone message? One never knows whether to trust Google Maps info.) I asked if they could still honor the warranty. The staff person tried to claim it was out of warranty, then once corrected ask for proof of purchase (fair) and had to call me back a few times, but she was ultimately able to say I could bring it in to Georgia for repairs in the next few days. I thanked her but hesitated, noting that driving an hour and a half to Georgia to be told, in all likelihood, that it couldn't easily be repaired (seems like a cracked tub arm) was not what we signed up for when we bought it counting on the warranty. She said she'd call me back. I soon received a call from the irate owner informing me, in ever-rising tones, that I had to bring it to Georgia for repairs, and they hadn't expected to close the Tallahassee branch, and the reason they'd had to close it was "BECAUSE OF CLIENTS LIKE YOU! YES, LIKE YOU! So listen to me, you can either bring it here or you can SHOVE IT UP YOUR ASS!! click" Great customer service would have meant looking for options: offering a partial refund, or a discount on some other item (wouldn't have been able to take it, but would have been a nice gesture), etc. Acceptable customer service would have been, "Sorry, it's an unfortunate situation for everyone, but repair is all we can offer given the unexpected circumstances." It would still have been concerning that their products seem so often inadequately repaired, but I would have respected that response. What I do not respect is losing her shit and insulting me. Running a small business is hard. That's no excuse for selling faulty products or taking out your anger on your customers. Maybe look inside before blaming customers for your problems.
