I love this place! The staff is super helpful! They are funny and fun! I have seen and experienced…read moresuch generosity from the cashiers. I couldn't get my debit card to work and I was getting pretty embarrassed to say the least. This teller came over and without saying a word simply took her card out and payed for my groceries. Just like that! I did end up paying her back but it was so kind and completely unexpected and totally NOT part of her job. Another day I saw a lady having similar difficulties and a different cashier (not the same one that helped me last time) took her to customer service and when he realized that her card was just not going to work. Very discreetly I saw him behind the counter take his out his own card and rang up the groceries. The lady wasn't aware of this. She simply took the receipt and as she walked by the first cashier asked her if it all got sorted out. The lady simply smiled and said, "Yes, I don't know what he did but it went through!" And with that she went out the door! My husband always has great things to say about the butcher or the person behind the meat counter as he's always giving him the heads up of upcoming deals that are coming up and just making his trip to the store more enjoyable. I always shake my head when I hear people belittling the cashiers or other workers there as I know that they are all doing their best. They seem to care about their jobs and take pride in it and I think it shows. Most of the workers are always smiling or even dancing or singing and go out of their way to make things easier. I've seen a few cashiers are a little snobbish or look like they would rather be anywhere else but o don't see them back so I think they're doing a good job of getting the right kind of people working there! Just my two cents.

The staff here are usually awesome, and produce is so fresh! I have unfortunately had two negative…read moreexperiences with a cashier named Cristhian (spelled that way on name tag). Last week, he shrugged when I asked where the disability scooter was, and he told me to ask someone else. It was behind him. He wasn't even busy. At 5:30 pm Jl. 3/26. I asked for help finding the TP that was 35% off, because a palette was in front of the TP. He sent a pleasant young man named Sean after it, who brought back the wrong one. Sean went back. Cristhian then told the Customer Service guy Drew, that Sean had not brought the one he asked for. Well, C had NOT specified details to S, and I said so. C rolled his eyes and tried to argue. He also argued that the $28.99 TP was the same price as the $19.99 one on Rewards. He tried to put his own mistake on me. I own a small biz. Let me tell you, this guy is nothing but a liability.

As a disabled person, I was willing to pay the outrageous prices due to a disability scooter being…read moreavailable, and super helpful staff. However, on a recent visit a male staff from Produce repeatedly reached over me and bumped into my scooter as he fawned over an ablebodied customer in line. He acted as if I were an object. No "Excuse me," nothing. When I spoke up, he mansplained how he has the right to do this and, "I'm sorry YOU feel THAT way." I told him he was physically hurting me, besides being rude. He continued to abuse me. The Human Rights Tribunal confirmed I have grounds for a disability discrimination case. An assistive device is legally part of a disabled person's body. What this employee did was assault. As well, the payment terminals have been moved so they are too high for disabled people to reach from wheelchairs. Thanks, but I can pay more reasonable prices for organics at regular grocery stores, and get treated as if I am human. As I said, I went to WF mainly for customer service. Not to have my human rights violated.

Whole Paycheck, as it used to be called, is not that bad regarding pricing, and they often have…read moredeals, so I no longer call it by that name. However in the sandwich department, they have really fallen down recently. I used to buy lunch there often but stopped when their selection became smaller and much worse. Today I bought two sandwiches, both suffered from soggy bread and insufficient ingredients. One was an egg sandwich with barely a smear of egg, whereas not that long ago the egg used to burst out of the bread. No butter, no margarine, no nothing. WTF? And to make matters worse, wilty old lettuce. This is a disaster, a sandwich disaster. Cheaping out on egg? Egg is not expensive. Why? Cheaping out on hummus? Why? Hummus is also cheap to buy and cheaper to make. The other sandwich was made with hummus or was supposed to be. It was soggy, with the smallest amount of hummus possible. There were tomato slices but when pulled out they were old and wrinkly. I'm old and wrinkly too but don't want that added to my sandwich. So Whole Foods, if you are listening, I'm not buying sandwiches from you again and if you're wondering where your customers are going, try building a better one, like you used to do. ,
