The office is super clean, pleasant and all the staff, including the front desk staff are super nice, friendly, respectful and kind. Dr Hahn and the team provide exceptional care and are super gentle, thoughtful during all the procedures, cleaning, x-rays and exams. I also am paying a one time yearly fee for the services provided which I believe is very reasonable since my insurance did not cover this office and other PPO Dentists. He is so patient and kind and truly just wants the best for his patients. The hygienists are thorough and gentle. The assistants and front office staff are friendly and caring. Ok I just went again earlier today for what was supposed to be a final crown placement. Can you believe, he takes off the temp and is getting ready to place my permanent crown and it gets a crack in it. What's the first thing he does??? He tells me. That's right, he was so honest and understandable a bit surprised and frustrated. I was of course a little upset that I wasn't getting my crown finished but I'm just so impressed that his first reaction was to be totally honest and up front. I feel like maybe some dentists might have placed it and tried to patch it or fill it. (I hope I'm wrong) Anyway I just had to share. I found him to be arrogant and disrespectful…read more He humiliated me in front of his staff by shrugging his shoulders after I asked him what could be done about the ill fitting bridge he placed in my mouth! When I explained I had been biting my tongue and my cheek, he told me "that's a soft tissue issue" and told me to go to a periodontist! From the minute he placed this bridge, I told him it was too big! It was uncomfortable and I felt like I had a wad of gum behind my front teeth, and it even flew out of my mouth at a Christmas party last year! I waited six months to see if it felt any better and when it did not, I went to another dentist for a consultation. He agreed the bridge did not fit well and even contacted Dr. Babbitt to see if he would refund my money so it could be done properly. Dr. Babbitt refused to give even a partial refund and believed his work was perfect. Now, almost one year later, I need a root canal on one of the abutment teeth because the bridge does not fit right and bacteria made its way inside. I have been in excruciating pain for two weeks now as I try to gather the money for a root canal and another bridge. Lastly, my roots were exposed and I noticed they were discolored. I was told by Dr. Babbitt this was caused by brushing too hard and that it was just discoloration. I was NEVER told that what was actually happening was that my roots were decaying due to dry mouth caused by daily use of Flonase! He even said that because you couldn't see my gums when I smile, it isn't something that needed to be fixed. Had he emphasized that my roots were decaying at an alarming rate and I would need to fix the problem sooner than later, I would have made that priority and NOT gotten the bridge that I really didn't need. Base your decision to see this dentist with whatever information you have, but beware that this could happen to you too, so choose wisely.
