Go for the Free Tastings Friday & Saturday and you'll find yourself bringing home some delicious…read moretreasures. So, some friends and I headed over to Primo Vino on a Saturday thinking it was a wine bar. It sounds like it, right? Whoops. We found ourselves in a very cute, botique wine shop. But, they had a Free Wine Tasting that day, so cheers! We got to try some great wines from a winery in California, and our wine steward answered all our silly questions without making us feel silly. He even filled us in on how one would go about pouring/serving from one of those gigantic wine bottles that you see on display. You can actually buy those giant wine bottles here! After our tasting and a few suggestions from the staff, we picked some fantastic wines to take home. I didn't realize there was a bargain bin of wine until I had already paid, so I will definitiely have to come back and check that out. Primo Vino sends info to their mailing list about what wines they will pour for the wine tastings Friday & Saturday (3:30 to 6:30pm), so definitely sign up for that.
