Dr. Jenkins thoroughly explained what was wrong and what the plan was as far as the root canal. They numbed me up pretty well, they even let it sit for a few minutes so it could fully take effect! Usually dentists are pretty rushed, so this was a nice change of pace. As they were gearing up and starting, they would consistently ask me how I was doing, if I needed a bathroom break, and they would inform me of what step in the procedure they were! All in all, 10/10 care. Everyone was friendly, the Dr was patient and gentle, and I hardly felt a thing!

The assistants were extremely friendly and made sure I was comfortable; and Dr. Gilbert was not only cheerful and informational but EXTREMELY thorough. I'm terrified of dental work but he made the process bearable. He stopped anytime I needed a break, and was very attuned to any pain I felt. The office and rooms are very clean and hygienic as well. I don't know anyone that likes having dental work but if you need a root canal or the likes, I would recommend him every time.

This practice is a complete nightmare! Worst experience I have ever had! What a crude, insensitive,…read moreincompetent staff! The doctor was the worst of them all! I asked a simple question about having x-rays from the dentist that referred me sent over and Doctor Gilbert (an incredibly rude, high tempered old man) came into my room screaming at me over the fact that they do not use computers in his office and I should of known that. First of all, in this day in age, especially in the medical field, who the hell does not have some sort of computer set up? So he charged me to have x-rays retaken because he refuses to use technology as simple as computers to exchange important patient information from the doctors who referred their patients to his establishment. He became red in the face over my simple x-ray question, tried to throw me out of my appointment and told me he didnt have time to answer my stupid questions, so do I want the procedure or not because he wasn't going to talk to me anymore. He grabbed my wrist and put a needle in my hand without telling me what he was doing, hooked me up to an IV and started pumping me with anesthesia without saying a word. Then said you will start getting really dizzy in about 15 seconds and left the room! With the nurses! Not only did he give me no heads up whatsoever that I was about to be put to sleep but after injecting me, he left me completely unsupervised! I want to sue! You cannot treat your patients this way! It is absolutely absurd. This man has absolutely NO bed side manner. The office itself is a joke, incompetent staff, no parking where you wont get towed, and on top of that no air conditioning. If you need oral surgery, simple or complex: please please PLEASE do not even consider this ridiculously inadequate establishment. The gruff mannerism of the entire staff is almost as shocking as the how horrifyingly impatient, insincere and downright mean the doctor is towards his patients. I will NEVER go back and I feel so sorry for anyone who makes the mistake of working with this horrible man and his joke of a practice. Visited the office today as a new patient. As a retired…read moreMilitary member I requested a dental cleaning with my new patient appointment and the receptionist was vague and wouldn't confirm that this would be available. After speaking to my insurance on the phone in the office the receptionist was told my insurance pays 100% of all preventive care and 80% of normal dentistry care. I requested to know what the fee would be. I was informed that they would charge me $150 for a 20% copay. To be clear they wanted to charge me $750 for an initial patient intake and possible X-rays. When asked why my insurance doesn't cover this, the receptionist told me that they said they would, however, they would still charge me and then possibly reimburse me "IF"'the insurance company paid enough. So in summary the dental office wants patients to finance their operations and double dip with insurance. This is not the way a reputable dental office works. I requested all of my paperwork and told the receptionist I would find a more ethical dental office. In response to the DR Response. I am a RETIRED military member with some of the best dental insurance out there. It pays 100%. You in fact were the one that told me that you never worked with TRICARE or a delta Dental and didn't trust them. It's almost a joke, but it reads more like double dipping and insurance fraud.
