Today was one of the worst dental experiences I have ever had hands down. He seemed annoyed that I hadn't regularly visited him but this dentist is a cosmetic dentist. I see a general dentist regularly for cleanings but have had zero work done regarding filling and etc.... Dr. Connally had an incredibly negative attitude, he had zero patience, he did his work very hastily and I have never felt so much discomfort for a bonding procedure in my life. My tooth doesn't match the other one and I was in tears when he was sanding down an edge because he continuously was hitting my gums. He had zero disregard for my comfort and talked down to me like I was a cry baby, even though I was bleeding heavily. I was looking for a professional today but got a temperamental man with a drill. I'm kicking myself for not standing up for myself while I was there. Patients beware!

Some of the things I look at when choosing a Dentist include: new dental technologies, experience of the dental team and a clean and modern facility. I definitely made the right choice! Newest dental technologies are important to me because it means the dental team has the latest and greatest equipment to care for their patients. One piece of technology I especially look for is the availability of SAME DAY Dentistry (usually used when talking about crowns). Typically, getting a crown takes messy impressions and then WEEKS of waiting while the lab creates the crown. With same day dentistry, the Dentist will scan your tooth and the crown is made THAT DAY, IN OFFICE and places it before you leave saving TONS of wait time. I'm familiar with the CEREC system but I believe Dr. Bell mentions a E4D but it appears to be similar. Other technology that I noticed at this office include an easier/quicker digital Xray system, intraoral cameras, etc. You can always have a wonderful staff but if their equipment is from 1960, that concerns me. So once I know the technology appears to be "up to my standards" I look at the staff. Luckily, Dr. Bell and his staff are ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Dr. Bell has excellent bedside manner. He's extremely knowledgeable and thorough. A new Dentist has joined the team, her name is Dr. Mohn and she is great as well! I've had the pleasure of having Courtney and Monica as my dental hygienists and they're both AMAZING. They were equally awesome with our daughter's FIRST DENTAL VISITS (which can sometimes be traumatic for kids)!!! I LOVE that there was no need for us to go to a specialized pediatric dentist! To round off our amazing experience here, Health Centered Dentistry has a beautiful, clean and modern office. The waiting room is gorgeous and comfortable! The team appears to follow all guidelines keeping their patients safe and healthy! I highly recommend Health Centered Dentistry!

Upon my first interaction with this employee, I had called the office upon my Dental plan listing the referenced number to schedule appointments. Andromeda had answered and claimed the office was not accepting patients. I found this peculiar and took to their website to schedule online instead. The website asks for a plan, ID number and will let you select the nearest appointment. It appeared the office clerk had lied to not only myself but my mother when she had called to check additionally. Eventually the day before, 4/12 Andromeda had texted that the information provided was "insufficient" and when attempting to call in to correct the issue, Andromeda made every attempt to refuse the original scheduled appointment by claiming it would "take some time to verify you" instead of standard transactional practices you would expect any dentistry to undergo. Andromeda further antagonized the situation further by over-speaking, interrupting and made every attempt to refuse the information she somehow did not have. She was eventually asked to stop behaving inappropriately to which shortly thereafter she again continued with her inappropriate behavior before hanging up the phone. Upon calling back she was promptly addressed as inappropriate and a request for her manager was made. She yet again over-spoke interrupted & complained but this time it was me who hung up & promptly dialed the Odessa office Andromeda attempted to defer to. The woman at the Odessa office was wonderful and helpful and displayed a proper & considerate demeanor. She was even able to clear up that a "Linda Gail" was the manager and did not in fact work out of the Odessa office today. Later on, Linda was called in order to report the situation & report her employee's reprehensible behavior. Apparently Andromeda had penned a false narrative about the interaction while issuing a false witness over the call that had been made. Linda had been lied to & her intelligence insulted but further believed the circumstance to be true. She's allowing this reprehensible behavior to continue while she herself began to exhibit similar patterns of bizarre behavioral issues. This is the most horrific & unprofessional office for a dentistry I've ever interacted with and you'll be wise enough to call elsewhere more deserving of your dollar.

I was referred to Basin Dentistry for extraction of tooth #4 and #19 and placement of bone grafts for future implants. I had my first visit on 05/19 when I was given an estimate of close to $15,000 for all the phases of the treatment. I agreed with the treatment plan and out of pocket cost. The sequence of negative and unpleasant interactions started with Dr Veronica Burnuy, the dentist assigned to provide the needed dental care. I knew the procedure would require conscious sedation via venous access but was not ready for the painful "digging" of my vein by Dr Burnuy. She appeared to be frustrated by the way she was handling my arm ( very rough). She finally obtained access after "digging" again in another spot. Needless to say I left the office with a terrible bruise on my arm. During the extraction of tooth #19, Dr Burnuy broke the crown on tooth #20 but had no decency to explain what occurred during the procedure. At first, the office staff said that it was a filling that came out of tooth #20 but I knew for a fact it was a crown placed by another dentist within the past year and have dental record to verify. An office staff member called back to inform it would cost me an additional $1,200 on top of an initial $15,000 treatment plan so I requested all my dental records to be sent to a dentist of my choice and informed I would complete the remaining dental work established by the plan of care at another dental practice. Dr Burnuy called back on 06/02 offering to replace the crown at no cost with the understanding I would complete the remaining planof care at Basin Dentistry. During the call she blamed her blunder on "cheap materials" used on the crown placed by another dentist but finally agreed to replace the crown at no cost. How unprofessional of her to blame another provider for something she was in charge. An appointment was scheduled for a few weeks later when she would remove the membranes covering the grafts, and get a temporary crown to replace the one she broke. On July 17, I showed up for my appointment and as usual she presented with very poor chairside manner, very cold, unempathetic, insensitive, and very businesslike. She got very defensive and annoyed with my questions related to the bone graft and next phase of the treatment. She presented to be rushed, rough, and not gentle at all while applying the anesthesia on the bone graft that was still painful and healing. The anesthesia shot was by far the most painful I have ever experienced in my entire life. I have seen plenty of dentist my whole life and know for a fact that anesthesia is given gradually and at different spots but she applied the entire dosage at once in the same area. I even told her " you are not gentle....you are rough " and she replied saying "you are the only one complaining ". I have never been subject to such total lack of empathy by a Healthcare provider. Dr Burnuy left the area to see another patient and after about 30 minutes with the effects of anesthesia wearing off and no signs of her returning to treat me, I got up from the chair and requested to be seeing by another dentist but I would be responsible for the cost of crown Dr Burnuy broke. I will "eat" the cost to replace the crown with another dentist but will never allow Dr Burnuy to provide any further dental care to me again. Dr Burnuy is responsible for the majority of negative reviews Basin Dentistry has on Google and this is a fact. I am happy to see that I am not "the only one complaining" about her. I am a senior citizen and also a Healthcare provider. I have no expectations that Dr Burnuy will change her demeanor towards patients because being caring and kind is not natural to her and she can't do anything about it. She is also part-owner of Basin Dentistry and probably has no one to report or be accountable. She is young and still has time to switch career path to Animal Dentistry as on my humble opinion she has no business dealing with humans.

I went by the pharmacy in Odessa to have a prescription filled for mild pain - nothing for infection. While waiting in the drive through lane I realized the prescription given to me was for a different patient. I drove through and headed home. By that time I was freezing and shaking uncontrollably. I am an elderly widow and live alone. About 3 hours later my son came (he lives in Weatherford and had a business appointment the next morning) and found me on the floor unable to get up or to use phone. He called 911 and I was taken to the hospital. The diagnosis was severe sepsis. I was in the hospital for 5 days and on IV antibiotics for most of that time. None of that would have happened if the infection had of been handled appropriately. I am alive only because my son had an appointment the next morning in Odessa and was going to spend the night at my home.

This office answered my call on June 2 and got me in at 10 am the next day (6.3.2025). I think the transition was easier since I was already established with Aspen. My insurance never covers the fluoride treatment that I always opt for. It was $22.95. It sucks that it is an hour and a half away from me. It sucks also that this office is not nearly updated and as modern as the Hobbs office was, but I'm very satisfied with the friendly, fast, and efficient service! I checked in a few minutes early and was out in less than a half hour. I'll be back in December unless something drastic happens yet again.
