I have been going to westside for many many years and this was the first time this happen. I took my 3026 RAV4 in on 4-09-26 to get was. When left i went straight home. My husband was like hon they missed a tire shine on your passenger front tire and there is long black grease line on the front of your hood. I got some car cleaner and thank god i got that black mark off. How do you miss a tire ‍i guess I need to look into a better place to take my RAV4 . read more

Just moved to the Dover area and started looking for a place to wash my little Ford Fiesta. Seen West Side on Yelp and decided to try it. It was fairly busy so I got in line and read the menu then decided to get the Works package which was $35.00. When my car was finished I left a $5.00 tip also. I opened the rear hatch to get the antenna out and noticed that area was very dirty so I mentioned it to an employee and he vaccumed it again. When I got home I noticed bugs on the windshield and on the front of the car. Anyway I will not be going to this business anymore. For $40.00 they should have done a lot better job! read more

Was looking around for a new car wash and detailing place and west side car wash fit the bill. It was a little confusing at first but then a guy in the line asked what kind of wash I wanted I told him what kind he said put the car in park hop out and gave me a receipt to pay at the front. I waited a few minutes and they had the car right out and started doing a detail on it they actually went above and beyond and scrub the top of the car when I ask them to to get all the tree sap off of it they did a great job, and I would definitely come back! read more

Very disappointing. They did a great job on the outside of the car but the inside which is the most important part for me was less than acceptable. I do my business out of my car and as such even though I pre-clean it before I get to the car wash, there's always a lot of dust dirt and crumbs. The car wash I normally go to since I moved to this area has reduce their hours so I thought I would give this place a try because it is convenient. For $25 I expect a better result than this. There were a lot of employees just sitting around when they said my car was done and I felt they should've made sure it was completely. OK..Owner explain to me that's only done as part of a detail. If they would even have vacuumed out those cupholders, they would have gotten most of that dirt out. Guess I will go back to Greenhill car wash where less than 25.00 gets you inside and out clean and I have never seen any crumbs or dirt in cupholders and other sections of my car after taking my car there! read more

they did good from the outside, but inside is disappointing. they did not vaccum the third row and still a lot of crumbs inside especially beside my daughter's car seat. Maybe its not included in the full service? Just wondering. First time I was impressed, came back unsatisfied. Yes. I came for a wash today, it was the full service with sanitation. My first time was awesome that is why I came back. They wipe everything knowing it was a 15 seater van, but today with a smaller vehicle I got home crumbs still on the seat and cup holders, third row never been vacuum. No tire shine too.. West Side Car always does a solid job in cleaning my cars. I personally find it best to go early in the day on the weekend as this place gets crowded and I find that they rush at that point. Had my car Spit Shined a week ago and the car looked fantastic. This is the ONLY place to bring your car if you have a luxury vehicle or a high performance vehicle in the Dover/Smyrna area. Please remember to obtain the card that they provide with your visit which will be punched and once you have (I think 6 visits), you will obtain a free economy car wash. read more

This business is professionally run. It is one of the best full service car washes in the area. Every business has small hiccups from time to time but it's how these hiccups are addressed is what sets Westside apart from the rest. As a consumer, I am not alway looking for perfection but I am looking for "quality of service". This aspect of customer service is very important and I can see that the owners strive for this. I understand that it's a car wash they don't have the time to wash my truck as I would. I usually get home and have to spend an hour getting all the water spots from where they missed. I would definitely agree that you should go when business is light if you want more time spent on your vehicle. I use them as general cleaning and I make the final touches I require myself. read more

I'm not sure what William H is talking about. I've worked at westside car wash for 7 years. The Giangrants are great to their employees. They provide lunch every day, a break room with fridge, microwave, etc. The pay is fair and there are opportunities for advancement including positions that pay commissions to supplement hourly pay, in addition to daily tips for all employees. They work with employees around scheduling issues and are flexible about allowing employees to switch shifts with each other at their leisure. It's a shame that none of that is visible to William H from the outside looking in. I am happy to work for westside car wash and in the future if I move on I will be thankful for the experience of working for Mr Vic and his family. read more

This used to be my favorite car wash, but recently I have noticed the finishers are not paying attention to detail, they weren't that busy, and they have a missed a lot of spots they normally wipe down like the door jams, Etc. In the future I will make sure to go when they're not at peak hours, and I will be sure to double check everything before leaving. read more

Nice! I started off as a slight challenge to the employees here. The entrance is easy to get into from one side, unfortunately I took the other. There were two options. I took the one that was unobstructed. Nope, that was the exit. After a tight U-turn, I made an awkward dash into traffic, then into the entrance for the adventure to begin anew. There was a coupon from the paper: Yes! So, I ordered the most expensive job. That wasn't what the coupon was for: No! No worries, it was one step down and not much difference. The attendant was very patient and explained everything to me so that I 1) got the service I desired; and 2) Got to use the coupon (also a desire of mine). I had too much stuff in the car, but nevertheless they vacuumed around, over, and under everything. The wheels shined. The mirrors gleamed. The car looked GOOD! I'd definitely will be recommending this place to anyone in the area that needs their car to have a little extra love and care for a good price. read more

I went to this car wash today and it will be my last time EVER!! For starters, I was sitting near where your car comes out and I was waiting for my car to come through, as I see my car coming out, i here a little girl and a guy (that works there) using fowl language while talking about my car that is "shitty"... as you can see in my pictures my car is beautiful. But when I went in I specifically told them I need under my spoiler washed, bug remover for the front of my car, and the plastic mats in my trunk washed. Under my spoiler WAS NOT washed and the mats in my trunk they sprayed with water and then threw them in my back seat ( that was freshly shampooed ) and now my back seat has wet dirt seeped all into my seats. I called up there after I had gotten home and realized it and I was told a manager would call me back, and never heard anything back from them. I am HIGHLY unsatisfied. read more

I have a crew cab chevy sierra. Got the works done on 12/23/2019. ($25) Very disappointed in the vacuum job. The only two windows that were washed was the front windshield and the driver's window. Also only wiped down the door jamb on the driver's side. I have received a better wash from a $5 car wash. read more

After spending almost an hour in the line that only had two cars in front of me, my car was finally washed. Once I received my car the mats were not in the correct place, the seats had crumbs on it, and the interior wasn't wiped. I called and spoke with the manager named Vic and received the worst customer service with no resolution to my issue. I would have been better off squirting dish soap in my car and waiting for it to rain instead of visiting Westside. read more

Not impressed at all. The wash was decent because my car was already waxed and polished prior. The vacuuming job was one of the worst I've seen. Paid $30 and carpets still look the same before I took it in. Tire shine looked good while at the location. After arriving home, my tires look drier than before. It also looks like whatever they used to wash my wheels, took my finish off. Won't be going back. I think my 4 yr old could do a better job for a $30 toy. read more

I went there today and got my car washed. I've had a problems seeing out of my windows after getting autobody work done locally. I asked the gentleman vacuuming my car about it and he recommended I speak with Dave. Dave knew immediately what the problem was after neither the autobody shop or another car wash was able to tell me. It was overspray which was verified by Westside owner and manager. Dave was very competent and sweet, he provided me with an estimate and what I needed to say when returning to the autobody shop. I was able to convince the manager of the autobody shop that this was a job for true professionals and they are paying the bill. I am Westside's newest regular, I can't wait to see out of my windows again! Update- The work was done today and I am so pleased with the result they exceeded my expectations. My windows are crystal clear and my paint is gleaming and feels like silk. I plan to bring my car here regularly for washes and waxes. read more

This use to be my favorite car wash but its steady going down hill. I don't get the tire shine anymore since they continue to not do my thin whitewalls and who wants dirty shiny tires. I pulled out today and was halfway home when the sun was shinning into windows and they were worse than when I went in. When I got home I had to do the windows and tires. I guess one of the reasons the windows were still wet on the passenger side was do to the owners son talking to the guy doing them. I won't give up on them yet but will try some others now also. read more

Nice car wash - employees here are very honest and really good job for the price. Owner is a very nice and more than fair person. Occasionally small things get past them (when they are extremely busy) but they try very hard. I would recommend this place and it is by far the best we have in the Dover area. read more

I got the works and still ended up with dirty Windows there was dirt still on my tailgate on my Tahoe and if they wiped it off properly they would have seen that. The roof was still very very dirty. So I just threw 21.00 out the window. We called no one would return our call. Emailed them no response. I would not recommend!!!! read more
