I have rehearsed here quite often with several bands ( Hawaiian Soul, Stephen Inglis, Summer Of Love). Each time I walk in, I find a clean and well maintained facility. All the equipment I need is there as well as connecting cables, mics, and stands. It photographers well too!! I highly recommend this rehearsal space! read more

West One Hawaii - Recording & Rehearsal Studios Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

Today was my first time going there to rehearse with my band. It was an amazing experience. Everything you need in regards to PA, mics, mic stands, guitar stands and amps are there. They also had a mixer and extra cords. You only need to bring your own instruments. You don't really interact with anyone but your band. You reserve your room and you show up. Our room didn't have a QR code to Venmo, but we paid cash and put money in the lock box. Don't even think of trying to steal anything because there are security cameras. Room A drum set didn't have a nice splash cymbal so you should bring your own. Or if you are in general picky with your cymbals for drums then definitely bring your own. What I like about this place is that everything is conveniently set up so all you really need to do is plug in and play. I am definitely looking forward to coming here and practicing again. read more

West One Hawaii - The Elevations Hawai'i getting ready for a date at the Blue Note! - Recording & Rehearsal Studios Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

If you are a Drummer/musician and you are in Honolulu and you have a need to practice, West One Hawaii is the Best place for you. It's very reasonable prices for an hour and it has a good quality set of Gretch drumset to play on. It also have a great PA system with music stands and microphones everything that you would need to get some serious work done. read more

West One is THE practice studio to go to in Hawaii. The location is awesome, parking could however be a little better.. There are NO stairs to get in and out of the room, major plus if you're hauling your own gear. The room has perfect AC (with a million fans everywhere). It's a heavily treated room, so every instrument complements each other and just sounds great. The studio provides all the essentials (2 carvin cabs, 2 combos amps, an ampeg bass rig, full PA system with monitors, numerous mics, and a great 6pc pearl drum kit loaded with cymbals and stands). Basically if you were to just show up with guitars and bass, you could play with a full band comfortably with the equipment they provide. There is also a fridge in the room, a nice touch. The PA system could use a sub if you have a backtrack or something with a lot of low end, but overall not much of an issue at all. The owner Chris is extremely helpful and very very prompt with answering any questions and/or requests. He is by far the easiest dude I've had the pleasure of working with scheduling practices and everything for a studio. We currently do weekly sessions and don't plan on changing anytime in the future. There is only one room, so the calendar gets booked up fast! Definitely schedule in advance or do a monthly thing. It's worth it if you practice frequently. Give this place a shot!!! read more

Clean environment. Pretty much all the sound equipment (e.g. mixer, pa speakers, mics, a complete and tuned drum set, etc.) and streaming accessories you need, including free WiFi. read more

Good clean studio with air conditioning. Great equipment and it is updated when need to be. Great rehearsal space.

We had a pretty old sound system that needed help. Chris with West One helped us to find the best replacement parts for our needs, while also helping us to clean and figure out maintenance for the parts we could keep. He was incredibly helpful in explaining the new sound system, and continued to answer follow-up questions as they arose. The words that people on our team used to describe Chris were trustworthy, honest, patient, thorough. We are very grateful for his expertise and whole heartedly recommend his services. read more

I was back in town to jam with the boys and chose WestOne as the place to make it happen. Good equipment, acoustically treated rooms, and just about everything you would ever need for a rehearsal room. They definitely spent time thinking about all the little details that most of us think of after the fact... the "it would be nice to have a ..." moments -- they probably thought of it! Very smooth and easy going operation. I am happy to recommend WestOne to anyone looking for a rehearsal space. read more

They literally have everything you need to practice and record (excluding your instruments). It's amazing how much detail they put into making sure you're all good to go. Even things you wouldn't think of like a mini fridge, Uv light that kills bacteria for small items, and a secured door. Then there are the things you need, such as a sound mixer, a heck of a light of microphones and music stands, a desktop Mac for guess recording, and so much more. Also, the owners are very sincere and helpful. 10/10 would come back here for every recording session. read more

our regular practice area went on break and we needed a place to gather and rehearse our band. I had no experience with rehearsal studios and searched on line. A couple three places looked good so I called and being new, had a bunch of questions and concerns. Torie and Chris were the most helpful and settled my woes with a bit of patience so I booked with them. But the great service didn't end there. Chris showed up at start time, walked us thru the equipment, wi-fi, multiple mpg, phone, IPad, etc connections and secured door proticols. And once the session started, amps, mics, drum kit exceeded our expectations! Payment was easy and exit went very smoothly. Am I happy with set up and location? Very much! Will I be going back? ABSOLUTELY!!! Mahalos Chris and Torie! Sees Yas Soon! Alohas!!! read more

The owners were very attentive to making sure that you got set up properly. The space itself is clean modern and has good equipment. If you have particulars like pedal boards or particular cymbals for drums you may want lug that stuff in. Plenty of extras if needed. Overall we were very happy and booking again. read more

Every time I come to this studio I leave with a smile on my face. The set up is perfect, it's like we have our own rehearsal studio. I don't even play music, but love to come and watch my friends jam. With the high quality equipment, reasonable pricing, and just plain cool factor, this place is a hidden gem. I recently hosted a virtual concert event in studio B that Chris, the owner, helped tremendously with by allowing me to hire him as the sound engineer. I couldn't have pulled it off without everything the studio provided and Chris's help. I am forever grateful for this studio! The owners, Chris and Torie, are great people who are running a flawless business. I highly recommend West One Hawaii to anyone looking to jam! or record! or do a livestream! Aloha. read more

This spot is definitely one, if not my all time favorite, place to rehearse. The rooms are well put together, clean, and large enough to fit a full band comfortably. Very affordable too. Everything you'd need to record or rehearse, from the tiniest details like an aux cord, a dry erase board with working marker pens, to cables, stands, drumsticks and everything in between, seriously this place is perfect. You can definitely tell that the owner took the time to make this place go above and beyond what your average rehearsal space would and it shows. Thank you!!! Places like this make me really appreciate those that offer a quiet space to better perfect my craft read more

Being a loud rock band, it is tough to find a place to cut loose. This place was clean with good equipment. My only concern was parking. Kaka'ako is super tough to find stalls especially with a band of 5. read more

West One Hawaii - Comfortable environment, good equipment, and CLEAN! - Recording & Rehearsal Studios Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

I've used a ton of different studios around Honolulu over the last 10 years for rehearsing and tracking drums and vocals. West One is the absolute best and leaves the rest way behind. The gear is top notch. The customer service is as good as it gets. The place is clean, secure, organized and totally professional. It is so nice to be able to efficiently book online immediately. No stuffing around wasting time with missed phone calls, leaving messages, hoping the place is available and not being sure. I wouldn't go anywhere else. 5 stars all the way! read more

Way better+more than expected! As a drummer stuck in an apartment I need this. I almost don't want to write a review because I want to keep it a secret...but the owners are so nice. We owe it to them to spread the good word. Perfect accommodations to play, rehearse, record. read more

Great studio, they thought of everything. Parking could be MUCH better but that's not on them. Just come a bit early if it's at peak time.

Chris and Torie are the epitome of customer service. Torie keeps in touch with you, providing the door code, instructions, etc after you book the room. Chris is always eager to provide and show you what they have in the studio to make your experience as professional as possible. They have almost everything you can think of or didn't think of in the studio. He helped us to get set up, made sure the equipment was working and gave us an orientation since it was our first time there. Acoustically, it's great. Walking down the hall, the other band was really cranking it and you could hear them playing through the door in Studio A. But once we got into Studio B, we couldn't hear anything else except ourselves. They also keep everything clean and as sterile as possible. I walked in on him wiping things down and vacuuming giving me confidence that I was entering a clean environment. Our very first band practice was a success thanks to West One Studios. We just needed a little more time for practice which I'm sure we will on our next one that will be very soon! Except for the lack of close/cheap parking I would definitely recommend these studios. Mahalo nui loa Chris and Torie for a great experience! We will see you again soon! read more

This place is incredible. I was just looking for a place to practice my sax, and play a drum set (since I live in a condo), but this place is SO much more. There are two rehearsal studios that have everything you need for jamming and recording. Communication with Chris and Torie is excellent. Seems like they are always available. Chris took the time to go over everything with me on my first visit. I feel like I'm in a home studio. I totally recommend this place. read more

A real hidden gem for those looking for some practice space. Top quality equipment and great staff. It was a little hidden away, as you would never know from the street that a practice studio was in the building. But that is what makes this place so great. No one to bother you and no competing with other bands who happen to book at the same time as you do. You have your own room, locked away from any distractions. It's great, and I'll be going back again! read more

I've played in lots of studios, and this was the most organized, clean, and easy (just sit down and get into it) I've ever been to. The owners were so kind and pleasant and made us feel welcome. They explained all the gear and we were on our way. Will definitely come back the next time I am on the island. read more
