Why would the VA make an appointment with Matuk if I saw another doctor? That didn't make sense or wasn't a logical reason refuse to see me OR it's because of my service to this country. Dr. Matuk's office refused me because of my veterans service or because of my ethnic background as a Native American! I have 2 excellent insurances both Blue Cross/Blue Shield and the VA insurance but was refused service. I met her in November 2025, and I feel very fortunate that I did. She arranged my procedure, coordinated my follow-up appointments, and provided a thorough explanation of my results including finding a hernia. For 20 years, I had assumed I would have to live with that hernia. However, it was only Ms. Kaur who told me that it could be removed. For 20+ years, not other doctor had told me that. Her diagnosis and explanation changed things for me in a very positive way, and I will always appreciate her for it. In addition to being very intelligent, she is patient, attentive, and never made me feel that my questions were a burden. It is rare to find someone who combines professional knowledge with such warmth and genuine concern for patients. Ms. Kaur made me feel heard and cared for, and I am deeply grateful for her help. Thank you so much for providing me with such great medical care.

I cannot say anything more positive. Average wait time is approximately 2hr (and I write as someone who only accepts first appointment of the day). You will wait hours. I cannot be late. Dr Rahal can make you wait for hours. I had a procedure recently and they were unable to find a vein for an IV. Instead of finding a colleague for assistance she attempted to put in an IV ELEVEN (11) times. I wish I was exaggerating. I have photos of bruises left behind. Every time I have an appointment they have no idea who I am. The staff are so busy they do not read your chart until they are talking to you. You end up having the same conversations for multiple appointments because they keep repeating ineffective treatment and promising it is a different medication. I have 2 separate occasions when I had no relief from medication. They promised different medication. They prescribed the same medication that did not work. I've brought it up to them and they do not care. I do not expect my doctor to know me personally. I do expect them to listen and do something different when I tell them their current protocol isn't working. I've had tests with serious outcomes but they were not serious enough for an appointment sooner than 3 months after tests/procedures. I have no idea if they would reach out before 3mo if the results were dire. My last procedure was 3 months ago. They called me last week to ask how it went. They also have the nerve to request a positive review after every visit. Find a different doctor. I wish I had 3 years ago.

The procedures were to be done on April 12. Monday April 3rd I called as I did not have the packet. They told me they would send the packet in the mail towards end of the week. Thursday April 6 I received the mail, picking it up after 5 when I got off work. This only allows Friday, Saturday and Monday to get the medicine prescribed. I went to the pharmacy to secure the meds prescribed. The pharmacy needs to order, then mix two of the medications. I called to cancel and some rude lady started talking over me. She said I could go to another pharmacy, that they could fill the prescriptions. So I believe that two things can be true. Rude lady is right, I could go to another pharmacy. And I am right that they could give a busy customer more than 3 business days to purchase the things for prep. Why do they ask what pharmacy I use, and them suggest I go somewhere else? Yes, it is possible but it is an inconvenience for the customer. Why is it so hard for them to accommodate the customer? Without the customers bringing the insurance cards and money, all this office would have is a building with expensive equipment and no one to use it on. To the rude interrupting lady- all you people had to do was mail the packet earlier. And have some manners, stop talking over your customers.
