I had been looking for someone to put a pet door in the wall of my house since early September. I…read morecalled so many numbers, from online, handyman referrals, books, cards, etc. Handyman 101 was the only one that bothered to return my call. However, they advised me they were booked until after the new year. I settled in to having to wait a couple months longer. Much to surprise, I was called a couple of days ago, and told they had a handyman that could fit me into his schedule. I hoped I was getting a good one, as he was going to be cutting a hole in my outside wall. Well I had nothing to worry about, as Michael did an outstanding job. I could not ask for better. It ran over the time a bit, but there were a few unforeseen complications, which is always par for the course on many projects. Also, I never took the dog door kit out of the box from the company I ordered it from. That was my bad, because I had a long discussion with the representative when purchasing it. It was about the height I needed to order. She insisted I needed a larger one from the the measurements of my largest dog, than what I was planning to order. It turned out to be much larger than I needed/wanted. It took Michael some creative cutting off of trim on the outside wall to make look okay, along with moving things within the wall that were in the way when cutting through. It looks and works perfect and the dogs and I are very happy that it is completed! Thank you, Michael, and Handyman 101!

Buyer beware, I told the office it was a smaller re-do, but there was not enough for "Their" time now that there are so many "BIG" jobs available. I believe they have forgotten the community that built them, and only see the big bucks coming up from the south. So if you be from Ca, with $ in your pocket, maybe he'll get back to you.

We hired this electrician to help finish electrical work on a flip when we were under significant…read moretime pressure. Communication throughout the project was poor, pricing ended up being much higher than expected, and several "additional" items were presented late in the process when we had little ability to push back. What ultimately stood out most was the unprofessional and rude email communication after the job was completed, including hostility over routine business paperwork. Regardless of disagreements, basic professionalism and respect should be expected. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this company to other investors or homeowners looking for clear communication, fair pricing, and professional conduct.

As soon as we called Bryant at Sea Starr our problems were over. He answered the call himself and came promptly the next morning. We are warm and toasty now. The bill was very reasonable. Thanks Sea Starr! PS - Bryant is a licensed and bonded contractor who can do lots of things we need. We'll be calling him again!

This isn't the first time they have saved us, either. Just a great service with great people. I wish everyone had this kind of dedication. Thank you, Tom!
