Entire staff is the epitome of excellence. They are caring, highly skilled, and client centric, always anticipating your needs, careful to ensure your unique needs are met. Dr. Paul is simply wonderful. I am very dental phobic, yet, I trust him implicitly. He is as gentle as one can be and has never, ever, caused me pain. Keenly skilled, he has the patience of Job, and is truly gifted in his engagement with his clients-he takes the time to know you, to know your family, your general health and well-being. This is a provider who genuinely cares, and it is felt in all your interactions with him. I was not confident in the dentist's knowledge or the explanations I received regarding my partial dentures. The quality of the workmanship was extremely poor. The partials were delivered with front teeth that lacked proper structure; they were much shorter than my natural teeth and did not fit or function properly. Within two weeks, one of the artificial teeth fell off. Although it was replaced, the repair left a noticeable gap. The lower partial is so short that it appears I have no lower teeth when I speak, and because the upper and lower teeth do not meet properly, chewing has become difficult. I have even had to make minor repairs myself with a dental repair kit compound just to improve the fit. Following one procedure using a powerful imaging machine, I developed an infection that required antibiotics from my physician. While I cannot say for certain that the procedure caused it, the timing was concerning. As a senior citizen, I feel I spent a considerable amount of money on partial dentures that are neither aesthetically pleasing nor functional. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office or the lab for partial denture work.

Which turned out to be just in the nick of time, as I had several tooth issues happen all at once. She was professional, courteous, and worked alongside me to replace several crowns and give me several new ones. Dr Rudd doesn't use laughing gas, but will not hesitate to use all the novocaine in the office if she needs to, which is great for me because I have the lowest possible threshold for pain. I've never encountered any issue with her care. Once time I needed to be seen quickly for a minor adjustment (grinding down of one of the crowns) and she made room in her schedule the next day, even basically opened the office for me. I have no doubt that she would go above and beyond for me, and that's not something I ever got form the cookie-cutter dental practices. I highly recommend her, though I imagine that she's hardly needing my advertisement. Each time we've gone the waiting room has never been empty.

The practice was recommended by a church friend. When I was not having problems with my teeth, they were great. They did a filling on my front tooth which was well done. The hygienist is friendly as is Dr. Rudd. There were several events that transpired my last years with this practice that caused me to leave. The first of these concerns two crowns that needed done. One was a replacement and the other was new. When they did the crowns, I was not numbed properly. Dr. Rudd seemed to get irritated. She did and does not have a dental assistant. The crowns were put on and there was still sensitivity that was dismissed after every appointment when brought up. Food kept getting caught in the crown area. I ended up changing dentists and found out that the sensitivity was from a nick in the tooth of those crowns that was done by Dr. Rudd. She nicked the one tooth when drilling and preparing the next. I almost lost the tooth because the nick went deep. The new dentist saved it, and so far it seems to be okay. I had to pay out of pocket to replace a new crown. I was fine with it because I did not trust Dr. Rudd to replace it. The other events had to do with another crown. The temporary crown was installed and the root was exposed. It caused extreme sensitivity. I was dismissed and told the sensitivity was normal because I was wearing a temporary crown. When arriving for my permanent crown, Dr. Rudd didn

Wow!!!! BEST Dentist experience,.....yet...lol…read more I have to be a little reserved in my review...it's come back to bite me before. This was an initial consultation @ 7 am. Went Great! Dr. Patel was spot on. Great attitude... perfect smile and eyes that would make me hand him my wallet!!! I left the consolation with an open spot to come back at 9:30 for an exam. Went up to the chick fil a and they called me about 8:45 and said come on back. I went back in for round 2. I was scared out my mind. Haven't been to the dentist in well over 8 yrs!!!!! I meet up with the Goddess know simply as Ms. Pam or Patt...can't remember.......ohhhhh what a woman though..... Her voice could melt butter....so calm, soothing and reassuring.... I was still hella tense!!!!!!, but she made me feel like I was lying in bed at home. I ABSOLUTELY HATE POKING AND PRODDING in my mouth,....BUT,....Ms. Pam and Dr. Patel did it with such ease and reassurance. Overall I've got to have about 3-4 visits to clean and fix and repair everything that is wrong with my mouth, (shame on me....I'm completely embarrassed and Totally ashamed)...but I'll keep you all updated! So far..a 5!!!

Truth in Advertising? Beware the $99 Cleaning Offer at Pure Smiles Dentistry…read more I recently went to Pure Smiles Dentistry because they advertised a $99 dental cleaning. I couldn't get an appointment with my regular dentist until mid-December, and all I wanted was to have my teeth cleaned. I specifically explained that when I called to make the appointment. I repeated it when I arrived and again to the dental hygienist who took me back. What I didn't realize was that the advertised $99 cleaning was apparently conditional. First, they would take extensive X-rays, measure my gums, examine my mouth, and then decide whether they would actually clean my teeth. After all of that, they refused to provide a regular cleaning because they said I had periodontal disease and needed more extensive treatment. The dentist pointed out that I had significant bone loss. I explained that I already knew that. I've had bone loss for decades, along with a complicated dental history dating back to childhood. I've had braces three times and even had my jaws surgically broken and realigned. Naturally, a dentist unfamiliar with that history might have questions. But I wasn't there for a comprehensive evaluation of my lifelong dental problems. I was there for a cleaning. I was repeatedly told that providing a regular cleaning would be "subpar treatment" and that it would essentially do no good given my other dental issues. Which raises an interesting question: Should I stop brushing and flossing, too, since apparently routine dental hygiene serves no purpose unless every underlying problem is addressed first? I am not disputing that I have bone loss or that I may need additional periodontal treatment. My complaint is that I specifically requested a regular cleaning, repeatedly made that clear, and was never told upfront that I might leave without having my teeth cleaned at all. Would a routine cleaning really have harmed me? Or was the advertised $99 cleaning primarily a way to get patients in the door for a comprehensive examination that could lead to substantially more expensive treatment? I can't speak to their intentions. I can only describe my experience. I went in expecting a $99 cleaning. I left without having my teeth cleaned. After I complained in a discussion with the office manager, they waive the fee, but that me to wonder how many people would've complained or simply found themselves in a situation by that $99 advertisement for a cleaning where they were on the hook for my tire cost and more extensive treatment. It seems a lot of people are very happy with this business I'm not saying that the business is bad, I am saying this particular advertisement their way of drawing people in questionable. So what exactly was the purpose of advertising the $99 cleaning in the first place?

So after many years of neglect on my part, using whatever excuse to avoid the dentists ( fear,…read morescheduling time off from work, orpricing), I wound up needing some major dental work. At the time I was freshly layed off from my employer and they have extended my insurance for another month, so I finally had free time to take care of my dental health. It turned out I needed a root canal, and I almost died of fright, but Dr Campbell, and his wonderful assistant helped put me at ease. At the time my understanding of dental procedures was based off of 20 year old technology. They explained step by step how things were going to take place, and I was given a generous amount of N20, AKA Nitrous oxide. Being that I don't even drink, this stuff hit kicked in really fast, and i did not seem to be able to care or focus on what i was afraid of anymore. And then the procedure started. The Doctor was very engaged with how i was feeling, and he keep checking on how i was handling the Gas, and the procedure. I was fully conscious, but never felt a thing. I must also give praise to their billing/insurance staff. They are able to make things work out, even for somebody who is tight with his money ( ME) , and they fully explain lien by line where they money is going and how much will be cover by your insurance. Long story short: Dr Campbell is the only person on earth I trust with a drill in my face.
