Onion rings are to die for!! Calzones are wonderful. Staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable.

My car broke down in an inconvenient space in their parking lot today. Every employee checked in with my daughter and I to make sure we were ok. It was really cold out. They offered a jump start and allowed us to wait in their store while waiting for our ride to bring us home. I can't give enough gratitude for them allowing my car to sit there for much longer than expected before the tow guy arrived. Their kindness towards my daughter and I was extremely appreciated in such a stressful time. Such great and caring people who work there Also, their fried chicken and coffee were delicious. Tried pizza here for the first time last night with high hopes I would find a place that could even come close to comparing to Damons in Skowhegan. Sadly it fell short, big time! I was very unimpressed with this pizza. The crust tasted good but that's about where it stops; The pizza is rather bland, extremely skimpy on cheese and the cheese is not chewy like pizza cheese is supposed to be. Overpriced for what you get for sure! Also ordered the chicken cordon bleu sandwich. Also do not recommend that. It too very very bland and I didn't even finish my half because it was dry & had practically no flavor. I get a large pizza for a dollar less at Damons and it is loaded with cheese and delicious! I have now tried every pizza place in Skowhegan and there is no place that even comes close to Damons pizza. Sucks they close so early but I will plan accordingly and always get my pizza from there. Going there tonight as this pizza just made me want good pizza. Leftovers are going to the raccoons. It would probably be much better if I got extra cheese on the pizza but I'm not paying almost 20 bucks for a one topping pizza when I can get it at Damons for $15 with lots of cheese on the pizza! I may try their burgers one day as I have read they are quite good. read more

I order delivery from West Front rather often when I am in town for work. The food is great, and the staff is helpful and easy to work with. If you're serving a crowd, you cannot go wrong with the Maine-style pizzas or sandwich trays. read more

If you or someone you know have a failing convenient store you need to check this place out it does things right. Nice little deli that makes fresh sandwiches and a place to sit down and eat (inside or outside) Very, very clean. Nice folks work there! Beer, Wine and Booze selection but in the end it doesn't really make a difference. It's clean, neat and orderly with a very nice crew. A far cry from the place I reviewed last week. It's called people that care about what they serve up and the place they run. If you happen to be passing through town and would like a quick bite or lunch stop in. read more

I used to go to West Front regularly/weekly up to about 13 years ago...even going back to the days of the old building. I stopped because the downtown traffic jams have progessively made it a hardship to travel from north Skowhegan to South Skowhegan. Stopped in recently and noticed the pizza tastes better. the pizza prices and other prices seem low price compared to what other in town places are now charging. They were and continue to be super employees at the West Front. They have a cozy-like sitting area for inside eating. read more
