I'm from CT., moved to ME from California....for me to be shocked by prices is not an easy feat....but 2 ...two litters and two bags of ice to come to $24! She obviously charged for everything twice! & then do didn't want to be held accountable for it! Absolutely ridiculous customer service and extremely childish behavior! She's lucky I didn't go back down there & confront her in person, because this is theft by deception and it is against the law!

Juliette's did not disappoint! Juliette is friendly and brings a smile to your face. She recommended the ham dagwood. I'm not from ME, never heard of a Dagwood... man it's tasty! If you need dog food, they even have a freezer full of freshly house made meat for your canine friends. The staff is really friendly and super helpful. I use a cane and they have steps that are rather steep. A fellow showed me a side door that had no steps and promised me that it would be open for me whenever I came back. That won me over right then and there. Way to go Waterville!

The selection of English foodstuffs was good, although a little sparse. They said they were getting a restock that very day, so I will definitely be back. I figured I'd give it a shot and order one if my favorite things to eat. I felt bad just ordering one thing and making them deliver it but they were very kind and said it wasn't a problem. They made sure to let me know how long it would be and when the food was done they called to let me know they were on their way and how long it would take for them to get here. The lady was very nice that dropped it off. When I got upstairs I instantly unwrapped it, quickly took a picture, and took a huge bite. The wrap was awesome! Middle Road General Store is a perfect place to go for everything from sandwiches to pizza to baked…read moregoods to breakfast. I'm lucky enough to be just down the road from this place when I am visiting my parents in Maine, and we go here on at least a weekly basis. Everyone here is super friendly - stepping into the Middle Road General Store, you'll witness lots of neighborhood folks, locals, and old friends catching up. Coming here makes me instantly nostalgic for days of my childhood spent biking or walking to this place - I'm sure I've been here hundreds of times over the years. While most things I've gotten here have been very good, the real treasure is the baked goods - their freshly baked bread is awesome, and their cinnamon rolls are legendary. Also a big shoutout to their Tourtiere Pies, which are wonderful, though they may be seasonal (if you've never had Tourtiere Pie, you need to remedy that right now!).
