They also have pizza dough if you want to make your own, and they have various sandwiches and pizzas available. They are open long hours, which is nice if you want something at an odd time. We got the pepperoni stuffed breadsticks which were really great! (the only down side is it took them 30 minutes to make them, but it was near closing so maybe that's why). We had a ton of different desserts (blueberry pie, cookies, brownies, whoopie pies, etc), which were all good and really tasted homemade. They also have a few basic grocery supplies for sale in the coolers. If I lived on this block, I'd be in this place every day. We were there later in the evening but got a parking spot right in front. The neighborhood doesn't look to be the greatest but we had no problems.

Well, I met her as she came out grinning ear to ear and said that she loved the place and bought a bunch of sausage, one of which she was particularly excited was some red-white and blue sausage for the 4th of Jul that our grandkids would love. She was also taken by the owners daughter because of her friendliness and help. I'm sure if our two sons weren't married, my wife would have asked her if she was single. Pros: It's a perfectly serviceable Italian, and much to my delight (and since I forgot to ask for extra black olives) what is apparently their regular amount of black olives is my normal (other local shops take note!). One of my pet peeves, however, is having to reassemble my sandwich when I get home so everything doesn't completely fall out. I haven't found a place yet that arranges their vegetables in a way that makes sense and stability in the roll.
