Encor previously shot engagement & wedding photo's for my brother-in-law's and the pictures came out absolutely wonderful, so we decided to also go with them for our engagement and wedding photography needs. They made the engagement shoot extremely easy, providing a list of recommended shooting locations and even scoped out the perfect area for us based on our request. On our wedding day we were worried as heavy rains were forecasted. The team did a great job of scouting out the area and giving us plan B's and plan C's in case we needed alt shooting locations. The photography was amazing and did a great job of helping us keep our energy up while keeping everything relaxed. The photographers were so creative with different lighting effects and camera angles despite not being familiar with the new wedding venue we chose. We feel they certainly got the best photos possible and were great with making accommodations for requests during the ceremony and reception. We received a few sneak peeks of our photos and are absolutely blown away so far! We couldn't be happier with choosing Encor and would encourage anyone that is looking for the best possible team and pictures to utilize them!

Wow, where to begin? Ok - starting with the general photos and vibe. When browsing for a photo…read morevendor, I'd been seeing a lot of airy pictures or color that was orangey - meh. I wanted something that looked like the cover of a romance novel. A romantic vibe. During this journey, we were introduced to this Lin and Jirsa (referred by a venue I think? Not quite now). Fast forward - I had an amazing experience with Juliana for our engagement photo shoot. Honestly, I wasn't even going to do the engagement photo shoot but the more I looked at Lin and Jirsas photos the more obsessed I got. Once you commit, you fill out a questionnaire and they even ask for inspo photos, good AND bad which I thought was cool! I'm so so so happy that Juliana will be with me on my upcoming wedding day. She was really great at coaching poses, which I was super nervous about. She showed photos in real time. Might I add, it's absolutely fascinating what settings on a camera, and someone holding a lighting stick can produce. The photos she showed me in real time looked like the magic that was produced in our viewing album! She was receptive to feedback about how I felt about myself in pics. Me: "My arm looks skinnier but when my hand is on my hip but I don't want to look like I'm trying to be skinny and have the same pose so like um, I don't know what I want." Juliana "I got you! Let's try this!" No hesitation. She also was very purposeful with the photos she took. She wasn't aimlessly snapping her camera with hopes of a good one - she was intentional and thoughtful. Julianas personality was great - engaging, funny, thoughtful. Her lighting assistant Diana (I think that was her name, so sorry I don't quite remember!) was super easy going too and took the direction of whatever vision Juliana had. The support team that emails you is very nice and efficient. I feel bad that I've not gotten back to them nearly as quickly as they replied to me! The original beach we selected Victoria Beach, ended up having super high tide so when we got there, she immediately had Plan B, no time wasted. When we got to the beach, we really wanted a picture with this seal we saw on a rock (from a safe distance of course so as to not bug). It looks like CGI but she got the pic!! She was climbing over rocks and really putting in effort to get good shots! At the end of the shoot I spontaneously wanted to get in the water and she happily snapped some shots and they came out great! (Visible in my post here). If you have any thoughts or concern about the cost or if it's a good idea - ITS THE BEST IDEA, do it!!! Before I ever saw their site (well, stared at it for hours) I never knew this was something I would want, or feel comfortable with. If you're getting married and are unsure because hey, weddings are insanely expensive, remember that your pics with live forever. So just commit, enjoy the process, and look forward to being absolutely in love with the magic this company creates!

Booked a call with Shilpa, and then today she is totally unreachable (including anyone at the studio). This was for my parent's golden anniversary and this group was the first on my mom's list. She was one of the first vendors I knew I wanted to hire. After watching hundreds of other wedding videos, I can confidently say that Melissa is the best. On the day of the wedding, she was extremely professional. She and her assistant had creative ideas to capture different shots, ensuring that every moment was beautifully documented. Melissa's dedication to her craft and her ability to capture the essence of our special day were truly remarkable. We had a very small, intimate backyard wedding. Our wedding photos came out so beautiful and the video highlight reel transported us back to that day, bringing all the feels along with it. I really loved Anne's communication, especially with our phone call a month before the wedding to work out the kinks. Absolutely ADORED her direction day-of. No wasted time and she made us look great in every photo! David was so slick with the camera work as well, half the time we didn't even know he was there! Kim did an amazing job editing our highlight video and really captured all the details in 3 minutes. He synced it well with the music we chose too (Birds of a Feather by Billie Eilish). It was really important to me to have a copy of the raw footage from my wedding, because I knew I was going to be too busy to remember the ceremony and the toasts, and all those other important moments. Anne and Dave offered a package that included this footage, and at a reasonable price. The other videographer I had found who offered this was charging an exorbitant amount. (2) I spoke with Anne before hiring her, and I really liked her. She responded to my email inquiry very quickly. When we talked about their packages, she gave me her honest opinion--that, for what I was looking for, one of their cheaper packages would be sufficient. She could have tried to upsell me, but the fact that she didn't showed me that she has integrity. I also just really liked her energy when I spoke with her. She seemed really earnest, cheerful, and supportive. I'm so pleased with the work that Anne and Dave did. They arrived early to the venue and worked nonstop until after the first dance. Our photographer seemed to enjoy working with them, to the extent that I thought they were already friends (but they'd all just met that day). Anne and Dave both had good suggestions for certain shots they wanted, and even recommended some shots to the photographer. Lastly, there was a point before the ceremony where I was extremely stressed and frustrated, and Anne came over under the guise of fixing my necklace, but I think she was also trying to help me take deep breaths. She wasn't being condescending or anything, it was just a natural extension of her calm energy. That moment helped ground me, and helped me feel like I had someone supporting me. I could cry just thinking about it, because she knew what I needed in the moment. We received our highlight video less than 2 months after the wedding, and it's so cute! I'm excited to go through the raw footage next. This experience has been 100% positive.

After watching every single video posted on their website, which were all beautifully shot, my husband and I were convinced ESC media would best capture the essence of our love and our wedding day. Just wow! In the first day the video was sent to us, we watched it 50 times and I watched it at least 10 times a day for the rest of that month and now at least once a month! I well up with tears of joy every time. All of our family and friends who watched the video felt moved by our story. ESC worked their magic in stringing together all the speeches and our vows into a beautiful story that captured our goofy, cheesy relationship. Our initial communication was very professional and clear. Eric was very responsive and friendly! He was also accommodating and very sincere and honest. During our first meeting, Eric disclosed to us that his colleague, Jason, will be shooting our wedding. We felt very comfortable talking to Eric and also received alot of good advice from him. He even sent us some example timelines to help us plan before we even decided to book him. He was a valuable resource in the planning process and really made sure that we felt comfortable. We met with Jason a few weeks later and really clicked. We talked about key shots and footage and felt like they really understood what we wanted to capture. On the day of the wedding Jason and Grace were so supportive and helpful-offering extra sets of hands to prepare for the ceremony and reception and keeping me kinda calm when I was overwhelmed by all the coordination to be done. They were patient and immersed in the days events without seeming obstructive or intrusive. We are eternally grateful for all the magic and love you guys captured on our special day and the way it was retold through the highlight video. We can't wait to watch this video with our future children and possibly even grandchildren. I hope they feel the magic then that we felt on our wedding day. You guys are the best! It was such a pleasure to work with you all. Thank you!
