Nazareth Music Center is in a class by itself. I brought my clarinet in to be serviced at the end…read moreof last week, as I struggled to play in a recent performance and wasn't sure what was going on with my instrument. Scott took a quick look and didn't see anything glaring besides a small missing cork, but said he'd examine it to be sure. We had a really nice conversation during the visit about everything from synthetic reeds to pianos and piano tuners, as both my husband and I had lots of questions (both being musical and having recently relocated to the Lehigh Valley). My clarinet was ready just a few days later, and when I picked it up, it was sparkling clean and had a new cork pad installed to replace the lost one. In addition, my mouthpiece had a mouthpiece saver applied (which i desperately need as i tend to bite way too hard) and a synthetic reed included for me to try. To my surprise, there was no charge for the service or any of the bonus items! What an all-around wonderful experience. I will definitely be back for all my accessories and repair needs going forward, and will highly recommend Nazareth Music Center to all my musical friends. Thank you so much!

It's a pleasure dealing with this business, I highly recommend. I look forward to having our instruments cleaned (and repaired if necessary) by these good people.

NOT A MUSIC STORE It's a pawn shop of instruments built of broken dreams…read more The worse music store and business ever! Tony Bologna the music store's owner and is a scam artist. Kept us waiting for an hour. Even though there was a bunch of kids working in the shop that apparently were not qualified to scam a sale out of me, they saved me for Tony Bologna. He tried to get me to spend 250+ bucks on a student sax re-padding, he said they were professional pads. I asked him for the student grade, he said it was the same price. I asked if the Sax is worth it, he said ya it's worth it, but maybe I should buy a new used one. He said he could trade in mine and for a few hundred he would sell me a new one. I kept asking what is mine worth but he refused to answer. Turns out he had a nicer sax than mine on display that he was selling for $150, WHAT??? so why fix mine or trade it in? He said cause I love the sax... No I dont! I just wanna cheap sax to mess with...So when asked about the worth with "straight-up" like tell me!" talk - He started double talking me, and telling lies about my sax, that is when I packed up my sax and walked out. This place is a scam, they buy everything used like a pawn shop. All the guitars are crap and overpriced. You could buy three name brand guitars at Guitar Center for what he was selling his shity guitars for.... TOTAL JOKE, he was selling puppies from the shop floor and seemed more interested in selling his mongrel dogs than actually making a sale from his music store. Avoid this shop at all costs!!!!!!!!! Go to Allentown you will be happy you did.

Have been working with them for years- they helped us buy and take care of the original piano I…read moreplayed on 30 years ago, and the new one we needed when our ceiling collapsed on the original. Not sure when things went south. Reached out on 12/3 to talk about a few options for pianos we were looking at. Wanted to go over variable costs. We decided to take the piano I've been playing on for years. John or Tom (sounds the same, John communicates via email) said it was my best bet to have them move it - even though it was $125 more expensive than a spot in emmaus with great reviews. I asked about cost. $140 for a tune, but that they couldn't guarantee broken keys or things in the gut of the piano that needed to be fixed . I knew the guts were fine, and even had our new piano teacher check it out - all that it needed was a tune to be good as new (and some wood work refinished from vases that were out on top, so water marks- as well as some chipped keys) They moved the piano. They checked out the piano. They touched the keys of the piano/ thanked me for the service and said they would be back out to tune it in 2 weeks. Bringing me to 12/21 4 days before Christmas- surprise for my husband when he gets back home to us. Today- jay shows up. Notes that it needs to be tuned 3 times, and that it will cost me 70 per tune outside of the last one which is $140. He also noted since he needed to bring it over pitch he may break strings and there's nothing he can do about that. Respect the old strings. But a tuning that I saved for with 5 kids the week of Christmas was DOUBLED without any notice. Tom fixed the situation by promising this has never happened before. Aww. So proud to be the first person it did happen too - and there was nothing they were willing to do. Can't wait for my husband to come home to his surprise piano that is flat. Don't bother unless you are going to have enough piano knowledge to ask about every possible scenario, or be aware the bait and switch is possible. Merry Christmas
