When I brought it up to the register, the very nice employee asked someone else to look it up. But they couldn't find it in person nor online. So, someone else went to look for it. They could not find it either. So the second person started looking in the computer system. The store manager came over and went to see if they could find it or find out what set it might have been in. All of this took 30 minutes. One of the staff finally said to sell us the pillow using a generic code and at the clearance price that other pillows were selling for. Everyone was very nice and very apologetic but someone needed to have agreed to sell it with a generic number earlier. I have worked retail for many years so I do understand that time moves faster for the employees, and I understand the need to find the item; however, to leave a customer waiting at a register for 30 minutes is unacceptable.

The staff were really friendly and playful with my toddler. We didn't feel like we were a bother at all and we were mainly left alone to our own devices. However, there was a good amount of staff available to answer any questions. Loved the selection that was in the store. I can't speak to the value because it's my first time looking at fixtures as an adult, so I can't speak to the price -quality ratio. However, I will say most of the nicer bathroom plumbing fixtures were $250+. Here is a pic I took of some of the selections our contractor showed us.

My experience with HyggeHus felt very different from the typical contractor experience. From our…read moreearliest conversations, Zeke and the team took the time to understand why this project mattered to me. I had a sunroom and roof situation that needed more than a quick cosmetic repair. I wanted a lasting solution and a room that would finally feel comfortable, welcoming, and usable. The HyggeHus team was approachable, responsive, and honest throughout the process. They explained what they were working through, especially when the new roof structure required careful planning and coordination. I never felt that questions were being avoided or that decisions were being made without considering the effect on the rest of the house. The value I received -- within a very clear, efficient timeline -- was also notable. The people working in my home were highly competent, friendly, considerate, and easy to have around. They paid attention to the details, cleaned up after themselves, and clearly cared about how the finished work would look. The new roof and Hygge room have completely changed this part of my home. It now feels solid, warm, and thoughtfully finished. I would absolutely recommend HyggeHus to someone looking for a contractor who combines thoughtful planning with quality construction.
