We were taken advantage of including paying for work that was never done and were told it was, hurried work that required rework multiple times, schedule slippage by multiple weeks causing us to incur additional costs and rescheduling subsequent contractors. John discussed making things right, however we were well past the point of allowing for this to continue and paid for a different contractor to finish the remaining rework. I have never worked with a more unprofessional, unorganized, and untrustworthy company in my life. I hired FTC Wayzata for a straightforward kitchen update which took them almost a year to complete due in part to not 1, not 2, but 5 errors in the cabinet ordering process. Each error added almost a month of time to the project and in the meantime it was almost impossible to get a straightforward answer out of them as to when the cabinets would arrive and when the installation would be completed. In addition to their incompetence with ordering the cabinets I also discovered the electrician they hired as a subcontractor didn't bother to get a permit. I therefore had the work inspected myself and was told by the electrical inspector that the work done was sloppy and unprofessional. After the electrician returned to clean up his mess he informed me that he would be placing a mechanics lien on my property because Floor to Ceiling never paid him for the electrical work which I already paid them in full to complete. Please save yourself a lot of undue stress, wasted time and money by not making the same mistake I did by working with Floor to Ceiling Wayzata!
