I'm so happy to be writing my first Yelp review ever for Randy at Ride Advise! I've been shopping…read morearound for a new car for a couple of months now which has been super difficult due to all of the shortages. My boyfriend worked with Randy a few months prior so I decided to utilize his services as well. Without hyperbole, I must say that this was the easiest process I've ever been through. Randy and I had our first call on a Wednesday, he found the exact vehicle I was looking for on a Thursday, and I signed and drove my new car home on a Friday. Every dealership I had gone to before this was marking up the sticker price anywhere from $6,000 to $10,000 dollars, and unwilling to budge. Randy shopped around and found my White Mazda3 Hatchback for MSRP. It was so simple and pleasant having Randy there every step of the way to make sure the journey to signing was uncomplicated. I'd return to him again and again

He took the time to coach me through finding the right car, walked me through the pros and cons of leasing vs. financing, and explained every possible option in a way that made sense. Thanks to his guidance, I ended up saving several thousand dollars compared to the "best deal" I thought I could get elsewhere. I can't recommend Randy enough. We don't know each other personally, but he genuinely looked out for my best interest and made sure I got the best deal possible.

I signed my paperwork in my kitchen. The car was delivered to my front door. Chris handled everything with a professional touch. The price was better than what I would have gotten if I used my best skills. But this is not about price. I saved a ton, sure. What I love is that I didn't have to go through that stress. Hours at the dealership, going back and forth. Who wants to waste that time? And then, after you get your price, you get sent into that 'other room' with the shady character who looks like he stole his mother's silverware. He tries to get you to buy stuff you'll never want or need. I always felt like I needed a shower after those encounters. Crestwood saves you from all that. Seriously, this was the best car buying experience I ever had. I worked with Chris on the phone (and drove him a little nuts probably) and got exactly what I wanted at a price that was better than I expected. Insurance? Handled. Registration? Done. All I needed was a pen. If you are still buying cars at the dealership, there are two things you need to know. First, bring plenty of hand sanitizer. Second, skip that and call Crestwood. No shower necessary.

UPDATE: I recently found out more how unethical Mark acted when doing my current lease. I spoke…read morewith 3 different, unrelated leasing agents about getting out of my current lease & into a new one, & found out that the bank Mark used to get me my car has ENORMOUS penalties if you try to end your lease early - so now, a year into my lease, instead of having about $10k positive equity in the car as would be normal, my buyout is $10k MORE than the original MSRP the car cost! I'm sure he knew this was something that happened with this particular bank & he ALSO knew he was getting me out of another lease early at that time & he never bothered to inform me that if I used this bank, I would NOT be able to with this car. I now believe that when he realized that I was serious about getting another car before my current lease is up, he either purposely ignored me or quoted cars outside my budget because he knew he wouldn't be able to get me out of my current lease & didn't want to have to explain to me why. ORIGINAL: I got a car with Mark & it went OK, but there were a few issues even in the beginning. There was a lot of back & forth on getting the proper insurance paperwork. Every time I got it, he remembered something else that needed to be on there & I had to call Geico yet AGAIN to get the documents revised. It felt like it was his first time doing this when I'm sure most of these things are routine. He also didn't show up when I went to get the car, but sent his younger brother instead. When I got to see the car, the entire bottom of the trunk was scraped and both his brother & the dealer tried to deny there was any damage & only when we showed them it was indeed deeper scratches that were not going to "wax off", did they try to offer a fix. I was able to get it fixed on my own, but I didn't appreciate the leasing agent trying to lie about the damage just to make his buck. This is not the first time I've leased a car with an agent. Previous agents had already examined the car & made sure all car mats, paperwork, etc were there before I even got there. Regardless, I was still appreciative that I was able to get the car I wanted, so I gave $300 cash to Mark as an extra thank you. Now after all the business & the appreciation, with how Mark acted, you would think I'm someone who just came off the street. He has a very bad habit of reading text messages & either taking forever to respond, or, just not responding AT ALL. I tried to address this with him - I understand people can't always have an immediate answer, but at least make a point to respond within a reasonable amount of time without making the customer feel like they're running after you. I also understand that it may not be possible to give an accurate quote as to what a lease would cost until some research is done, HOWEVER if we've spoken several times already about a certain car, & you know that the original quote you gave is inaccurate, wouldn't you let me know that before wasting more of your own & my time on it? I wasted an entire day driving to different dealerships looking to test drive this car only to find out later that night that after almost 2 WEEKS of going back & forth with him, he couldn't find it in the range he had originally quoted me, even though he had supposedly been looking all that time. I continued to try to work with Mark, but being left on read so many times with zero response has left an incredibly sour aftertaste. It appears unless you are the type of client who is going to make the deal easy & not ask too many questions, they don't want to deal with you. Rather be up front & say you can't help, then ignore or string someone along. I would recommend finding an agent who will respect you and your time.

He also called me off his personal cell while he was home just to make sure my vehicle was delivered without incident. I originally called M L looking for a average loaded BMW X5 , but ended up getting a loaded Sport for slightly less than my intended price range! Can't beat that! I highly recommend this place. I love the new car and the experience of leasing it and getting an amazing value was a real pleasure. I would do it again with Lev and will be sure to tell others of this great experience.
