The dealer wanted an OBSCENE amount to do it, probably as much as the car is worth. A little digging and I found them, then the part online (they said they could get it too) and they repaired it lickety split. No more funky spazzy brakes! (Everything else worked, the ABS module just liked to join in the fun once in a while.) Bonus is, John and Dave are very nice people. I'll be back!

I have never had an experience with a repair shop that was as positive as I had at Shop CT. I am a mature woman who needed help with my grandson's Subaru WRX STI. He's a very knowledgeable professional & the quality of his work was truly outstanding. Jimmy provided significant information and let me, (the customer) be the one to decide what path I want to take with my vehicle. He's an honest individual who's not here to sell you on stuff you likely don't need. Not only did he provide the complete full dealer maintenance thats required at my interval (30k miles), but also made my boring stock vehicle fun again. The best part is that the tuning was not part of my original appointment but he still completed the job in a timely manner, surpassing expectations. The stock WRX tune as anyone knows is very torque driven then peaks around 4k RPMS. Jimmy pro tuned my car and the shifting is smoother than butter and the power is linear. We didn't even add any extra parts except a boost controller, which will help my motor in the long run. I highly recommend The Shop CT to anyone seeking excellent service and expertise for their vehicle needs!

I'm a female and have knowledge about cars so at first when I started going there I wanted to test them to see if they will try to take advantage as some places would. I can honestly say they NEVER took advantage and was totally honest with me. They gave me recommendations of what to fix when they saw a problem but never pushed it until I was ready to fix it. Again, I knew what was needed and acted so dumb, but they were so courteous and professional. I have been going to them ever since. I recommend everyone who asks me for a good mechanic. Even though at times it gets crazy busy there I must say I always have the pleasure of being entertained by the fellas there Mike, Nick, Marco, Marino and the rest of the crew when I'm waiting for my car. Summit diagnosed it immediately and worked me in even though the shop was slammed during New Year's week. The repair was labor-heavy -- intake off, crossover pipe, seals, gaskets -- and they did it right. They quoted a fair price, and the final bill came in $400 under when they confirmed my intake didn't need to be replaced. They could have installed a new one and no one (especially me 1,200 miles from home) would have questioned it -- but they chose honesty instead.
