The one drawback to a boat club are the time constraints. I completely understand that it goes with the territory of the club but it's still SO much fun! You get the choice of several boats in each location: we mostly take it out of the marina in Bridgeport near Boca but there are many throughout the state- with our favorite being Old Saybrook. While in the Bridgeport area, there are many places to stop for tubing, food, paddle boarding. This was our first season and I am already looking forward to next season!

But best part is no cleaning work or time spent refueling. Just show up, load up and enjoy the day. You only pay for the gas you use. Then come in unload and go. Dock people are friendly and helpful getting in and off the dock. They offer classes on docking. The only downside is not being able to use a boat on a weekend spur of the moment. I've never had a problem 2 weeks out but otherwise weekends fill up. Weeknights are often free for a spur of the moment sunset cruise. This is a franchise with different local owners. SE CT has a great owner who cares about his customers.

Jonas, I just saw…read moreyour reply to my review. It only proves that you will not accept any responsibility for your mistakes/actions. As you stated, I was a customer for 10 years. In that time, I purchased a used motor (lasted less than 1 year), then a rebuilt (lasted less than 1 year) then a new motor (still in use). I also had you do thousands of dollars of other repairs and maintenance. I did hit a rock and brought the boat to you. The damage was cosmetic. I used the boat for 4 months after hitting it with no problems. As discussed, I brought it to you off-season so you could fix the cosmetic damage (weld on a new skeg). The first time I used it after your "repair", the lower unit failed (quite a coincidence) - most likely as the result of having no gear lube in it. Only you would blame an incident that happened a year earlier rather than the work that was done (by you) on the failed component (lower unit) only days earlier. Regarding your reputation...don't kid yourself. The word is out. Tony
