I do not keep my boat at Safe Harbor Marina so I can't speak to the quality of their facility, but…read moreI cannot recommend them for mechanical work. I keep my boat at a neighboring marina and reached out for help with my boat's engine. Over the course of a couple months one of their technicians tried several times to solve my problem, and worse told me several times that he had fixed it when the engine clearly was not running right. After seeking another opinion, another mechanic was able to diagnose my problem within an hour and then replace the broken part within an hour as well, and now my boat runs like new. If I hadn't used Safe Harbor for this issue I likely would have saved signficant time and money.

I had been in the water for 5 straight years though hauled every 6 months for cleaning and new zinc. This time I wanted to do the work myself or so I thought. On their own, Harett came over twice and offered to help. Of course I paid him. The haul was the most reasonable and so was the labor. The yard, the old Brewers West is going through some transition but I got great work done here. Very happy.

This is a small neighborhood park in the Shippan neighborhood. There's also a municipal marina attached to the park where residents can dock their boats. Overall, it's a nice little park, it would be wonderful if the boardwalk extended further, but there are a number of commercial and industrial properties nearby, so not as much inlet access as there could be. There are a few little bits of history in the park, most notably a monument to the deed of sale for the City. It's not really a destination park, but it's a nice little green space in the city.
