By far the best place to go for an alignment. Had an appointment today with Darren to install rear sway bar endlinks and get a track alignment done on my MK8 Golf R. First he installed the endlinks, then he came and talked to me to see what my goals were with the alignment and what I was looking for. I explained to him what I was looking for and he did exactly that. I cant wait to hit the track this weekend and see how the car does! They also fixed some issues i had with the sway bar. My car handles how it should after Darren made some fine tuning of my BMW HAS system on my F80 M3. My car had a right drift that other alignment shops couldn't figure out how to correct. Cost seems to be a bit higher than maybe dealer prices, but you are getting an alignment done by a specialist, tailored to your driving needs. Really friendly and informative guys, the price is good too. They do great work, and do precisely what you ask them to. There are 2 reasons I won't give this place a 5. First off, over the phone I was quoted $55, and when it came time to pay, I was pleased with the service, I was going to tip the guy $5. When he rang me up though, he told me it was $60.... I don't like being told one price over the phone, then being charged another price in person. The next reason is again, over the phone, I asked how long it would take. I'm pretty experienced with alignments, being a mechanic myself, I just don't have my own rack. I know they get busy too, I wanted to allocate about 1-1.5hrs for this job, so I could go back to work. In scheduling my day, I was told the job would only take 45mins. In actuality though, it did indeed take 1.5-2hrs, like I had originally anticipated. I just feel like I'm being told all this BS over the phone, just to get you to come in. Then when the rubber hits the road, I'm met with a much different picture than promised. The guys run a good shop, and do good work, they don't need to lie about anything. Honesty is the best policy. read more

Wanted to make sure that the alignment of my daily driver was sorted out so that my new tires can last as long as possible. Almost everyone in the LA area recommended West End to make that happen. The guys were able to fit me in the next day for an appointment! The shop is tucked away in a cluster of industrial garages, but it's hard to miss with the client's cool cars parked outside. The time I was there, a E30 M3 and 911 964 were parked outside. After handing over the keys, Darin took the time to understand the cars purpose, any particular things (i.e I had negative camber wear on all four corners) and my driving style to tailor the alignment to best fit my needs. The turn around time was about an hour. Darin went over the state of my car's suspension, what was changed and what he would recommend moving forward. Amazing service. Great turn around times.
