Earlier in the week I had the time and found a most exquisite necklace. This is better than the Kendra Scott we all see everywhere, without being Tiffany in price point. They seem to have a little of everything, things for the house, jewelry, lamps and just unique finds. If I were ever to open a retail store this is the type I would want. I bought a Judith Voss necklace (she is having a trunk show tomorrow) I unfortunately and busy getting chemo and couldn't make it. The incredibly generous owner offered me the trunk show deal early. I'm ashamed to admit it, but I wasn't pleasant in my decline. No excuses I just wasn't. I actually felt bad enough I came home and asked God to forgive me for being mean and rude. I wanted to apologize to her so I called and reached her, as expected she was gracious about my behavior and I still wanted another necklace for a gift to my 80+ cousin. Again she made the early offer. As it sometimes turns out they were out of the one I wanted for her. But the staff found me another piece and it might actually even be more pretty than my original choice. Again they are giving me the discount a day early. Let's be honest, I was unpleasant, I was a hassle making them search for a subuisite, gift wrap etc. each of the employees seems patient, kind and treat me as if I'm spending big $$$. I have stage IV cancer and the only big bucks thrown around here seem to go to doctors driving Mcclarins. This is a lengthy post because I feel it addresses some real issues we have in society now - I was needlessly rude, she and her employees did not respond in kind. They were patient and kind and determined to please me and there just isn't enough of that any more. Please try this shop out I can't imagine the great Christmas gifts I'll find here (if they allow me back in the store) My honest prayer is that for every lousy customer like me, they have 1000 that are kind and thoughtful like them. And I hope for every dollar I spend someone comes in and spends $10,000. I want to see her business thrive.

First, the Southlake location is extremely clean and appears to have a good selection of EA's products for viewing on the sales floor. After a bad experience with a competing furniture store in Frisco, I asked Jo Brabham from EA Southlake to help me with a small project selecting dining room chairs to coordinate with a few existing items. I have to say I am so thankful I decided to work with Jo on this small project. Jo took the time to review my request and try to understand my design preference. She took time out to come to my house to ensure the options selected were a good fit. I really got the sense she was concerned about 1) my satisfaction 2) actually listening to my design preference and 3) finding options that would work from a design perspective but also keep me happy based on my tastes. I did not feel I was being pressured to buy anything or that something was being suggested I'd be unhappy with just to make a sale, which I really appreciate. I truly felt I was getting advice from someone who actually understands design concepts. After placing my order, I received a call to update my on the status and was told to call at anytime for a status update. I received my order 2-3 weeks earlier than the projected date. After my 1st experience, I asked Jo to help me fix a mistake made by a competing store's designer for a club chair. Again, I felt there was an effort to understand what I want and keep me happy while also picking something that will truly look good in my house. I look forward to seeing the chair once it arrives in a few weeks and am confident I'll be happy with it. Furniture is very expensive, and I have learned the hard way that you have to be educated on what you are buying and ensure someone is guiding you to make the correct choices. I am confident EA Southlake will provide proper guidance and look forward to continuing to work with them as other items come up with my house.

My very first brand new furniture I bought when I started adulting was a Sleigh Bed Bedroom Set from Weir's from their Knox location in Dallas. They have been my go-to for my adult life. I am not going to say I have bought every piece of furniture that I own from them, but I will say I have regretted it every time I have not. It's hard to beat old fashioned customer service and a place that puts value in doing business with them. That is why I was saddened to hear they were closing their stores. While I am saddened by it, they have some great sales going on right now. It's a great time to upgrade if you need to!

It took less than two weeks for it to sag. Then it took three months and several phone calls for customer service to get the cushions remade. It took about a week for the new ones to sag. Was promised a refund and now that has taken months to get processed. Every time I call CS they tell me the last rep didn't push through the request. Not joking this has happened 8 or 9 times. The few ladies in the store who have helped me are nice, but because my designer ordered online, they simply turned me over to their terrible customer service. Their assortment were somewhat broad which was great and more upscale without the high price. Also, the overall layout was nice with less clutter than other stores. When I went through checkout I mentioned I liked their store and the cashier was very friendly and said they are often compared to Home Goods so I don't know. But I will be back when I have more time to explore the isles.

She suggested pieces to buy that went together and even how to place them. I purchased and did everything. Amanda suggested, and I am so pleased with the outcome! She was busy doing something else, but she didn't hesitate a moment to drop what she was doing and spend time with me to help with this project. The store itself is fabulous. It has just about everything you could want for your home and the prices are terrific! How the items in the store are displayed makes shopping so easy! During my time in the store I was greeted promptly, felt welcomed, and was not followed around. I also appreciated the manner in which Amber addressed my questions via text and phone. Rebecca was also helpful at the warehouse. Some of the pieces did seem to have a high markup and looked like you could find them at HomeGoods, but the beauty of Homegoods is that they heavily discount name brand items. They are much bigger than I expected so they don't fit the room as well as I had hoped but they look like I expected. It's working out fine, but the two inside recliners can't be fully reclined at the same time because they had to be set up closer together in the room than I expected due to their size. The preorder measurements given are smaller than actual. That is why they don't fit the room as comfortably as I'd like. (Also why 4 stars instead of 5) I think the value of these sofas may not be obvious until I see how long they last. They had better last a very long time. They're certainly heavy! They are also a bit firmer than I expected so I'm hoping it's just a "break in" period. However, I am enjoying coming to my spot to kickback, recline and relax each day. Also, I love that the backs of these sofas are not split like most reclining sofas. The backs of the are visible from other rooms so it was important to me that you couldn't tell they were recliners. They recline inside of the sofa shell they are built in to. It just looks like a pretty, white, leather sofa and loveseat.

We purchased a large dining room table w/two leafs and chairs and bench and a sideboard on March…read more11, 2026. Both were very expensive. Total price for Table, chairs and sideboard was just shy of $15,000. Both were to be custom made. We got our 1st delivery of the items on April 30, 2026. It was clear that there were issues right off the bat. One of the leafs for the table had a gap, the cabinets to the sideboard had gaps and did not close correctly, the chair cushion was off center a bit but that was the least of our concern. So, we reported the problems that same day and we were told a repair person would come to our house and fix it and he came as promised after about 2-3 weeks and he determined the doors to the cabinet were warped and not fixable and the leaf not fitting was not fixable, construction error. He was great and we have no complaints about him and his work. We waited another 6 weeks for the replacement tabletop and cabinet doors to be delivered. They were delivered to the same repair person so he could come install and he rejected the table for defects. The cabinet doors were brought by him some weeks later and installed. Sept 8, 2026 we got our new table with leaf's that fit. My complaint and the reasons I will never shop with them again are in short that they clearly have no quality control at the factory. You would think furniture that costs this much would be inspected in place before delivery, apparently not. Even after a bad delivery the fact that they once again sent a defective table further confirms poor quality control. Nearly six months after the original purchase we finally have what we paid for. No discount or rebate offered for the aggravation and inability to get and use the furniture we paid for. Bottom line is that Bassett does not stand for quality and I have no confidence that our purchases will stand the test of time. I regret shopping there and will post this warning everywhere I can so others don't have to suffer through this aggravation.

I have been in several times over the past year and every time I get treated like family the moment I walk in the door! I have also recommended this location to all my friends. The managers (I forgot her name but she is tall.. and the other manager is a man and I think his name starts with a B..) they are so much fun and bend over backwards for us anytime we need assistance- they are right there!! I sometimes wish they had more product like their website.. preferably larger furniture items.. but their online ordering process is also easy because you can have it sent to the store and they even give you a coupon when you go pick up.

The same 25% sale sign was still up. The salesperson Jen checked me out and when I mentioned it was on sale, she said, I don't think so. I told her the sign was up and she said show me. All in a snarky voice. We walked over and I showed her the sign. She said that's for Christmas decor, which I mentioned, the tree is decor. She argued with me when I said if it's not decor, it should be put somewhere else rather than by the sale sign that was misleading. Again, in a rude voice, she said, where would you like me to put it. It was fine it wasn't on sale, but that comment was uncalled for and very unprofessional. When I got home, I looked up Christmas Decor on Kirkland website and the very same tree is listed. The store is great and had fabulous things, but they are lacking customer service.
