Worst customer service ever! Used to be a big fan of Pottery Barn and have shopped here for years. We bought a custom couch that was delivered in February. It took less than two weeks for it to sag. Then it took three months and several phone calls for customer service to get the cushions remade. It took about a week for the new ones to sag. Was promised a refund and now that has taken months to get processed. Every time I call CS they tell me the last rep didn't push through the request. Not joking this has happened 8 or 9 times. The few ladies in the store who have helped me are nice, but because my designer ordered online, they simply turned me over to their terrible customer service. I ordered a sofa from this store and was told if I applied for the credit card at zero percent interest for 12 months, I wouldn't be charged until it shipped . I received my first bill and it showed I needed to pay the full amount of the sofa by due date or I would be charged full amount and interest. After several calls to local store and corporate office , I was told the sales person didn't click the right button when she ordered it. There is a reason Pottery Barn doesn't have reviews turned on anywhere! AVOID BUYING FURNITURE FROM POTTERY BARN I ordered my furniture July 3rd. I was supposed to receive the sofa early August, and the two chairs in late September or early October. I did receive the sofa in early August, but it arrived with greasy marks all over it. Also, after 2 months of use, the cushions are pancaked and deformed like a 5-6 year old sofa. A $4,000 sofa should not look like this after 2 months of use. In fact I would say it looked like this after 3-4 weeks.. The chairs are MIA and nobody knows where they are. I've had 11 phone calls with PB and every time the person who answers the phone apologizes and tells me someone in some other department needs to call me back. Which they never do. We were checking out the Southlake Town Square due to an overnight layover at DFW which is what brought us to Pottery Barn. There are no Pottery Barn stores in Hawaii so it was nice to see and touch things in person. THE STORE: The single level store was crammed full of merchandise but neatly organized. The building looks like its two levels from the outside but I didn't see any stairs leading up to a second floor. SERVICE: Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially one gal in particular (sorry, I didn't get her name). She helped my spouse order a whole bunch of stuff and was especially accommodating and patient. Because we were going to have dinner at nearby Copeland's of New Orleans, she was nice enough to work on our order while we dined, then phoned us when our large order was ready for payment, at which time my spouse ran back to pay for. I snagged a super bargain during their winter clearance sale. Pottery barn is a nice place to shop for goods for your home.

Fun, fun, fun place to shop! The store has tons of natural lighting and such unique items! Now, I have a hard times spending full price on the products, so I usually wait until they are running a sale (often) or hit up the clearance table. Something I really like about Pottery Barn is the nice quality of goods. I have purchased home decorations as well as wine glasses, which have ben durable and look pretty. They also have very nice candles that have a long-lasting scent. Great place to even browse, even you are not wanting to part with your money. It also sounded like I lived too far away (I live 17 miles from the store), and I was told it would be a long time before someone could come to my home. She said I could bring a blueprint of my home. I love Pottery Barn and it's nice to have a location close by. This is a small store but laid out really strange. I usually walk in to browse and get ideas and have been known to walk in and out without one person talking to me. Maybe they are under staffed. It would be nice to be greeted when you walk in the door and usually I have to seek someone out when I need help. Their merchandise is "my style". They have unique items and statement pieces that on occasion I will splurge on. I have ordered stuff online and picked it it up at this store so no shipping charges. I do love getting their catalogs as there are items in the catalog that they do not carry in the store. So shop all channels; online, catalog and store and you will never know what unique item will catch your eye. read more

This Pottery Barn is located in the heart of southlake town center! This pottery barn always has a great selection of items and tons of sale items which if you're like me who loves nice things but doesn't always have the $80 frame in their budget you can find one on sale most of the time here. The associates acknowledge you but leave you alone and let you wonder. Some locations follow you around like you're going to break something and makes me nervous. Every time I walk in this location, I'm completely ignored. However, I love their furniture and needed to buy some new couches and a desk. I normally go to the Stonebriar mall in Frisco. The customer service a little better. I thought I would give them another chance and nope tried standing waiting for someone to assist me and ended up walking out! Drove to the new Havertys furniture store in Southlake and spent 7k. You know why, the lady acknowledged me, not pushy and earned my business. I spoke to an associate over the phone on November 29th 2019. She stated that she would pull a robe and slippers for me. She asked that I place the formal order online and that since she had it filled, she would validate it in house. I did as she instructed, and called her back with my confirmation number. She reassured me that my robe and slippers would be waiting for me when I got back into town the next day. When I arrived I provided my name, I was handed my purchase and I left. When my grandmother opened her gift, there was a robe and no slippers. I called to rectify the situation today and the associate on the phone was cold,unhelpful, and unapologetic about THEIR Location's mistake and offered no help. She provided me the number for 2 locations out of state. When I requested to know why I was told on the phone that my robe AND SLIPPERS would be waiting for me at the front, and then received a partial order, she replied flatly, I dont know what happened I wasn't here. Essentially not her problem, we are sold out, call someone else. As a paying customer and avid lover of Southlake this has put a bad taste in my mouth about the attitude and lack of customer service. The associate on the phone in North Carolina was helpful,sincere, and apologetic. Maybe you could send some of your employees their to learn about proper customer service interactions. Love the store and all their merchandise, but DO NOT USE THE POTTERY BARN CREDIT CARD!! Sales offer was for big future purchasing coupons if you used your Pottery Barn Credit card. Purchased custom furniture which could not be delivered for a couple of months. Received a bill the first month for interest, second month, same thing. Did not pay the interest because the furniture had not been delivered. Paid for the furniture when delivered, but not the interest charges. For almost a year now they haves been adding interest and late payment charges on the charges. Charges continue to build up so that they claim that I owe $832. Avoid ordering any furniture from Pottery Barn.  Ordered a custom sectional in November with anticipated delivery in Feb.  This week it's April and ZERO update.  No matter who you call, their online customer service, the Southlake  store or their elevated corporate customer service you get the same answer, " it's in production".  LIES, they have said this every month since January.  I'm 20 weeks into waiting and NO follow up from even their executive customer service.  Half the gestation time of a human being and no word from Pottery Barn other than "it's in production".   And stay away from the Southlake Pottery Barn, they are still telling people 10 weeks for delivery.  Guess what? I have to agree with E.E., after browsing for 15 or 20 minutes, not one "May I help you?" I think I was dressed OK that day, and I did shower, so not sure what the problem was. Disappointed the bigger store still hadn't gotten any friendlier. I had to return some stockings and the rude customer service lady looked like she was about to undergo the knife when she began the process. I mean I know it takes awhile to look through the receipt ( I ordered online) but I had just spent 5K at PB purchasing outdoor furniture. When she was done she just gave me a blank stare instead of explaining that I would have to wait to receive my refund since it was an online purchase. I had to call PB twice to get it reconciled. Had to sit through a call back to this store as they said it didn't show up in their records. It took over another hour and two week wait to see it properly refunded. Not sure what it is about this location, but not one employee bothered to say "hello", or "are you looking for anything particular?". I pretty sure when my husband is saying, " This is the side chair I like, heck I'll take the floor model" within earshot of the employee standing there talking to another employee, you would make the effort to stop jabbering and come help. Seriously for him to find a chair and like it...non existent. I go the right side of the store, to linens/ bedding, while having a handful of table napkins, I went to find the duvet I wanted. While Im trying to find a king, searching through the pile. At the other register right in linens, another employee ( I believe the manager) is fumbling around with pens behind the counter, completely nonchalant about helping, only side-staring . After ten minutes looking, I dropped the napkins on the bed, and told him never mind, Id look elsewhere. Being that only maybe 4 other people in the store, all browsing. Not once did any of the employees assist, or say hello to anyone. Hopefully corporate see their sells decline from lack of service. I don't see many people buying 60 dollars in table napkins, or 280 for a duvet at many stores- it wouldn't help to push for sales or at least bother to say hello. read more

No one was being helped because the only two male employees that were able to be on the floor assisting customers were pulled in a million different directions while the women that worked there had their embarrassing display. I ordered a sofa and was given a delivery estimate maybe 6 weeks out. The date came and went with no communication from Pottery Barn regarding the new delivery date. Pottery Barn did, however, charge my credit card $3000 for the purchase. After calling, emailing, calling again, emailing again, messaging them on social media, etc with no resolution, apology, or response for a month I finally reported them to the FTC and reported the charge as fraud to my credit card company. Only then did I receive my refund. Still no communication from Pottery Barn. If you read reviews and check comments on social media, this is a very common occurrence. They are scammers. If one million people like and share this, Pottery Barn will disintegrate into a pile of failed retail ash, so please like and share. After more than three months they were unable to deliver the couch and chair we bought in August. For three months no contact and no updates unless WE called. For an order of well over $3,000, completely unacceptable. Today we are told the order finally arrived, but they "Forgot" half the couch. When I cancelled the order, they made no attempt to save it. Just a response from the apathetic employee at the furniture "hub" of "we can approve that given the circumstance." Absolutely no customer service outside of the local store manager who said she was sorry but not empowered to help. They market themselves as a quality retailer, but in practice their approach after customers sign the sales receipt is about three levels below the cheapest flea market vendor. Thanks, #Potterybarn, for delivering continuous disappointment for Thanksgiving and Christmas. We are now lifetime providers of a negative recommendation. A really terrible experience... The folks in the store were nice enough... And we really liked the style, even though they can be pricy. Over the years we are probably $8-10k in at PB. But our last experience with them has truly put us off altogether. We ordered two custom couches for between $3000 and $4000. After being told that the order would take 4 to 5 weeks...we had to call and were then told they were having supplier problems but they would be resolved soon. Understandable. So we got another new date. Again another few weeks... no calls. No updates. The new date came and went. No update. A third date was missed too. After several more calls and months of waiting we finally canceled the order with barely even an apology from Pottery Barn. We had decorators and other folks waiting on these couches. Now we have to start all over again. What a headache! With so many other options so close why in the world would we ever consider going back there? I recommend you avoid them. read more

I was treated like family. Felix, Amy and the entire team rallied around me to make my apartment decorating a memorable experience. To design an entire place can be a headache, but we all had so much fun and everyone made sure i got the best deals I could. The store is stunning and the choices are so amazing. But what will keep bringing me into this particular store is the personalized love and cozy care everyone goes out of their way to provide. Felix is such an amazing, patient and talented designer who helped me over and above. He even came in on a day off to finalize the sale. Diane however took the time to call 2 different stores to locate what we were looking for:) One was in New Jersey and one in another part of Texas. It seems like every time I go into this location no one ever approaches me to help. Even after I've been standing in the lighting section for 25 minutes just waiting to purchase some lamps. Once you ask them to help you they are generally nice.. It's just difficult to get to that point. On top of that they are not very knowledgable about their own products and prices.. It took forever for the lady to even figure out what the lamp was in their system (I had to pull it up on my phone and show her) and then she didn't even know which size lamp shade was in the display (there are only 3 sizes how do you not know). On top of that- I got an email advertising a lighting sale which is why I went in that day.. None of the lamps had any price tags and I didn't realize it until I got home but she charged me the original price even though I had shown her what it was on the website. Now to make another trip to pb to try and get some of my money back since they over charged me. Love their products, but would recommend ordering online. read more
