Really love the furniture here, but I do think it is a bit overpriced for what it is. I'm currently shopping to furnish a home, and I will be getting a few key pieces from here that I loved but I think you can definitely find similar items at a fraction of the cost. The staff was friendly without being overbearing and the showroom is spacious and easy to navigate through. read more

I will not be shopping at this location ever again. The entire staff is a joke. The only person professional was Angelo in the back of the house. He helped un-box all my chairs and put them in my vehicle while 4 others stood around talking and smoking. I ordered my dinning room table and chairs back in the beginning of October, I just now finish receiving my table on 12-11-19. Table was returned 2 times because it was damaged when it arrived, my original chairs have been at the store the entire time and no one knew they were there, believe me i spoke to everyone. I eventually just got different chairs. I could keep going but I think you could get the picture. read more

Worst in-store customer service. Went today around 4:30 and I waited for 30min and no one came to help. My mom and sister almost fail a sleep from waiting just to ask about the price of a rug. read more

Am disappointed with the result. It took 3 months for the custom couch to arrive (the DEKALB) and it does not have the polished look that the one in the store has. It has overstuffed cushions, giving it an amateur-upholstered look, and the side cushions came out crooked. A friend of mine said, when she saw it, "the cushions look bent!" I sent pictures to customer service and asked if someone could come out and look at it; after three weeks of silence, I was finally told that there was nothing wrong with the couch. I'd recommend shopping elsewhere as you have absolutely no recourse with custom furniture with this chain. read more

Came here to buy a bed duvet cover and some other things. The customer service is great. They helped me find exactly what I was looking for. The check-out process could have gone smoother. There was one person at the counter and she was helping someone on the phone. Help eventually arrived but it took some time. read more

I discovered this specific location from social media. Always loved their social media content and way of keeping me up to date with sales and deals. Employee service and knowledge is excellent on furniture and accessories. Definitely my main go to spot for Home and office decor. read more

This place I went to was SF CA, East Bay CA and Marin CA. They do sell pretty pricely items worth $10,000 and up in the Marin CA locations. I can't say about FL? They sale very pretty items in which most of them they show off in Million dollars house. I saw one vise worth $5,000 and it was import and more SUPPER nice stuff I say! read more

The store is beautiful but the customer service is lacking. I went today for my wedding registry and they were not very helpful. They said they did not know how it works and I had to download the app and figue it out on my own. read more

Too bad there's no opportunity to leave a negative star. Horrible customer service, they will treat you well only if you're super well dressed. Plus Frank lacks the basics of customer service and prospective sales, by being a total jerk to potential customers moving into the building above it. You just lost a couple customers plus more because of your lack of skills. read more

BEWARE OF BUYING ANY MAJOR PURCHASES!!! Very disappointed with my experience here. I found a rug on the website that I liked and the Dadeland location was the only one that had it. When I went to purchase, the rug was $50 more in the store than it was online! They agreed to sell it to me for the online price but only after I pushed. I went to this location which is 40 minutes from my house, got the rug, brought it upstairs in my condo and open it to find a huge stain. I called the store and they told me to bring it to the Midtown location (closer to our house) and they would send me a new one via UPS. We bring it in immediately, wait a week and still no rug. I call the store and they promise to call me back with info but never did. I called again and was finally able to get them to tell me that they had not sent the rug and then begin to say that the Midtown location did not see a stain and inferred that we were lying. Why would I lie? Ridiculous since I had the damaged rug pics on my cellphone as proof. So they finally send me the rug 3 weeks later and they send THE WRONG RUG!!! I call the Store Manager who just didn't seem to want to deal with this. He tells me one of the store managers would have to come to my house and pick it up and he would order me a new one from the website which would take 3 weeks. He also tells me they have lost too much money on my rug and could only compensate me $50 for my trouble.. it was a $500 rug! So he orders one online and it was back ordered for a month. I finally received the rug on V-day Feb 14th a whole 7 weeks after my original purchase. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! read more

BEST customer service!!!! Daniella is such a friendly, helpful & knowledgable associate. She gave us great suggestions and wasn't in our way or pushy. We'll definitely keep coming to this store and asking for her assistance. read more

This is not abt. DADELAND . It is West Elm The WORST company ever! I have spent thousands of dollars in the past to furnish a loft and kids rooms in Calif. and never had a problem until now.But recently, I spent 8,300 to furnish a home that i just moved to and the order was never processed. After 2 weeks i called to ask for white glove set up and they said by the way your WE cc will not cover 8 thousand. u need to apply for more credit or pay a different way. I suggested splitting bill with a bank cc. They said that is NOT possible. I asked if i would still get the original promo.discount if i had to put in another order on new card and one woman said NO. Then I had to go back to store where this happened abt. 3 times. and nothing has been resolved correctly. I have spent HOURS on the phone with customer service people and nothing. Recently someone fr. Williams Sonoma Corp. called me and still no resolution. I guess West Elm in Miami Midtown is not used to taking orders for more than 2 items at a time. BTW, i did receive 2 nightstands and guess what, outdoor furniture covers for furniture that I will never get bec. they never placed the order on June 9 when the outdoor furniture was AVAILABLE. It is now SOLD OUT! And there was a lot more that went on that i won't bother anyone with. This is too bad bec. the furniture is interesting. And Yes, the brown stained furniture does not hold up. Within the first year the stain chips off. This is great for staging, not long term. U might as well go to Ikea. P.S. The bedding and pillows are worth it. read more

Beautiful furniture, great sales and the best personalized customer service you can expect. This is the only West Elm store in Miami that we will ever shop at because of the great service. Thank you Anthony for taking great care of us today and assisting us with our new design remodel! read more

This store is wonderful , people are friendly and helpful. Has great promotions especially during Christmas.

Horrible customer service from sales associate to manager. I had to ask the sales associate several times for assistance to find out they didn't have the item in stock and not willing to sell the item on display that was on sale. read more

Awesome store with a very helpful and kind team. I went in during one of their sales and even though they were super busy, their sales team made sure that I was taken care of or if I needed any assistance. I really appreciate good customer service, and their team went above and beyond, enough to warrant an excellent review! read more

The staff at this store deserve all 5 stars, however once you order, you have to deal with the worst customer service I've ever seen. Bought a sleeper Henry sofa in August of 2016, had it delivered per scheduled in November, 2016, however after a week I realized the casings and cushions were not properly fitted, they were smaller than the sofa's frame. After calling several numbers, they sent replacement cushions, which did not fit again. Started the phone calls and emails to Customer service, visited the store in Dadeland, etc. they decided they were going to send me a replacement sofa and would be delivered by April 4th 2017. There has been no word from West Elm, no follow-up emails or phone calls, nothing! May 4th I decide to call to see what's happening and I am told the sofa has been at the Florida warehouse for a month!!!! For a whole month and no one has bothered to call to schedule a delivery..... West Elm has no respect and is totally unconcerned about customer service. I would expect they would handle inconvenienced clients in a different manner. I will never ever purchase furniture from them again and even less if I have to deal with home delivery. read more

If I could give West Elm MINUS 4 stars I would. Quite honestly, the store itself is fine as long as you carry your purchases with you. It's when you order furniture that things go unbelievably wrong. If you are shopping for furniture, please look elsewhere. I know - the selection is wonderful, prices are great. But what you will spend in time (waiting for deliveries that never show up) and aggravation (being told something is in production only to find out two months later that it's not) it's really not worth it. We spent hours in the store picking out dining room chairs, sitting chair, ottomans, sofa and area rug. We will end up with only the dining chairs and sitting chair. Everything else has been cancelled after receiving numerous responses that conflicted with each other. Now we are waiting for our refund. Fingers crossed! This has truly been a nightmare. Please heed our advice for furniture. Avoid this store. Their sister company is Pottery Barn, another store that I used to like. If they are run anything like West Elm, I'll be avoiding them too. read more
