Then it's not a long walk to the promentary that is Cape Cornwall, surely one of the most westerly of points in the country. It's very exposed to the weather coming off the Atlantic, so dress appropriately and be prepared to be blown off your feet by the wind! But it's worth persevering and climbing up to the observation point, where the views are spectacular. When you look around, it seems like you are seeing more than 180 degrees of sea. And if you stare at the horizon, you can actually see the curve of the earth! Magnificent!

It has become a bit more pricey of late, but some local papers do occasionally offer money off vouchers, The pitch and putt is good fun for the non golfers. If golfs not your bag there is fishing, go-carts and some unusual far ground type attractions or just a nice walk down to the stunning Holywell Bay. There is a nice bar with a range of pub grub or try the other fast food outlets on sight

I liked the par 5 17th the best: dog-leg left with all the trouble on the left; very intimidating. The course is very well kept and the greens were fast. Also had a breakfast in the clubhouse the same morning which was excellent. Highly recommended if you're staying nearby.

St Enodoc Golf Club is a private club. They have the Church course which is true championship…read morecourse. You need a decent handicap to be permitted on the course. The other course is their shorter Hollywell course which consists mainly of par 3 and 4. Still a decent course.
