There is something reassuring about something that stays still while the world moves around it though! Fun for families...but watch out you don't lose your ball. You get given a score card which tells you the par for each course and a map showing where is hole is. They also supply you with a putter and another club. We played all of the courses which took us about 2 hours. The course was well maintained and it was easy to follow the map. The entrance fee was relatively low and I felt it was good value for money. This is a great day out if you are inexperienced at golf like me but it's not confident players.

It also features a large clubhouse with extensive views across the course. This is a members' club but visitors are welcome providing they have a handicap certificate and adhere to the usual dress codes.
