Manasota Flooring just finally completed our job after a 6 month disaster. They attempted to…read moreinstall engineered hardwood in a small office 12 ft by 15 ft. The installer (sub-contractor) apparently spilled glue on some of the planks and attempted to wipe it off. The glue was spread over 1/3 of the floor. Unfortunately, the installer never told us about this issue and tried to hide it. Manasota Flooring management NEVER returned my phone call regarding this issue until I reversed the credit card charge. They then agreed to replace the boards with glue on them by cutting them out spreading dust all over the house, removing the intregrated side supports on the associated planks, and then trying to glue them back down without the support. This did not work! They then finally agreed to remove and replace the 1/3 of the floor they messed up. A better sub-contractor performed this work. There was ZERO communication with Manasota Flooring during this whole process. We had to remove all items from the room 3 times. We also had to clean up the dust in the house 3 times. We had to endure them jack hammering the planks out twice. It has now been nearly 7 months and we are still putting the room back together. Lessons Learned: 1. Never deal with a flooring company that sub-contracts the job. 2. Never deal with a company whose management will not return your phone call 3. Never deal with Manasota Flooring
